Today I completed a 60 day program at ACW. Because of ACW I have the opportunity to move forward in my life without the use of substances. I feel safe and happy. My counselor Charlene inspired me to elevate my life and is one of the most influential people in my life. I came to ACW broken and with nothing. Now I have hope again.

I highly recommend Southland Integrated Services! My mother has been going here for some time and she loves it here! She has a case manager name Caroline, she follows up with me serval times a month. I also can text her whenever I have questions or concerns. The NP that my mom is seeing is very tentative to my mother's care. I love how convenient their transportation services for the senior are with other appointments needs. Highly recommend this medical agency to our community!

Interface in Oxnard were a good fit for us, my granddaughter and I, unfortunately the people that were attending to us both left the agency! We both needed to readjust but unfortunately life kept getting in our way. We keep going back and forth, I wish the agency would keep their staff for the sanity of their clients!

I have an extensive history with psychiatry: doctors and medication. I also have a history of trauma that led to my various diagnoses. For the first time in over two decades I have found a psychiatrist/doctor who truly understands my condition, explains it in a way that is congruent with my understanding/experience of life and supports me through it. I signed up only for medication management through Comprehensive Psychiatric Services when I moved to the Bay Area for graduate school as I had recently found THE medication (with the help of a different provider back home) that resolved the most debilitating symptoms of my condition (and I did not want to explore other options since I felt stable). Excellent service provided. I have also done a tremendous amount of legwork to heal from the decades of trauma over the course of the last few years. Now that I want to explore reducing and even weening off my current medication, my doctor is fully supportive and encouraging. He walked me through what the process would look like and all the reasons why he supports my decision. Although it is not without risk, I feel completely capable of managing my symptoms and condition with the help of my doc. Highly recommend CPS and Dr. Salmo.

Dr. Bansal has been very accommodating and helpful in my medication management. When I was low and panicking on running out he called me back immediately and squared everything away. Walnut Creek is not organized and I found it very hard to get a replacement once Dr Bansal moved to Fairfield. Thank goodness Dr Bansal was able to set up Zoom with me, if not I was prepared to drive to Fairfield from Concord!!

Nice people, I loved it, thanks again for the wonderful memories. A shot out to all of the awesome staff that made me feel comfortable and respected. I met some really cool people. I loved all of the fun groups that made me get out of my shell. Thanks to management and the nice nurses Ps: The food was so delicious

I attended CFD for about 7 months in 2024–2025, and while the experience was life-changing, it wasn’t perfect. The staff—mainly therapists and dietitians—did a great job teaching me DBT, CBT, and other mental health tools I still use to improve myself and my relationships. They supported me when I couldn’t support myself and helped create a strong sense of community through group therapy, outdoor walks, cooking, expressive arts, and more. I formed deep friendships and started believing in myself and in recovery. However, there were a handful of moments that were genuinely triggering. Patient outbursts happened every few months, and the team didn’t always handle them with care. Some comments—even from staff—went unaddressed, and at times we were blamed or labeled “rude/insensitive” for pushing back against mistreatment. Adults were often treated with more respect, and staff occasionally became defensive or dismissive. This wasn’t constant, but it was memorable and impacted my trust in the support team. Many of my peers were discharged right before meaningful progress, often due to insurance issues or being seen as “difficult,” which made the environment feel tense at times. Nonetheless, recovery is a delicate and complicated process, and the staff did a great job navigating it. I credit CFD for shifting my mindset and helping me reconnect with myself and my passions. I’ve learned what confidence and self-respect are. I’ve rediscovered my interests and my true self. I still struggle, but without CFD, I wouldn’t be half the person I am today. Thanks gang ❤️

Highly recommend Dr. Cerda. Professional, calming and non-judgmental. Creates a safe space.

I’ve yet to attend my first session, but have had a FANTASTIC experience leading up to it. Sarah has been really quite lovely to work with; she is extremely pleasant and welcoming, and she knew just which therapist would be a good fit for me and my needs. I am SO excited for my first session!!!

Male entrance staff is rude to customer

Took my foster son there for counseling and was very impressed with the professional people that helped us. It's a clean, nice location and has lots of parking.

This is the worst and most dangerous place I have ever been. After telling them repeatedly that I wasn't suicidal and had no plans to harm myself or others, they had the sheriff come handcuff me and shove me in the back of his truck. Now I not only am depressed, I have a serious case of PTSD and no trust in mental health professionals. Nice going

Edit* after making a call to the Institute themselves and being able to speak to someone in a directory position, I was able reach a part of the care team and someone who took what I said into consideration and is now helping me better myself and helping the institute better itself this actually is a place for help And management cares. and the young lady who actually took me into consideration, left me with the stress squeeze toys so that I wouldn’t leave with a bad day. Fraudulent. They claim to be a group that helps with addiction to provide a wellness Wednesday. Only for me to come and get judged for the clothes that I wore and repeatedly asked about where I lived and my housing status and to be made fun of for being homeless. This is the exact place that’ll push you towards an addiction. Stay away if you need real help. AMAAD please do better if you are going to claim to help because some people need it and you guys could be a good place for them to go to if under the right management.
