Dear Sacramento Crisis Residential Program

Honestly terrible. Urgent Care takes WAY too long, has only 1 DR and wait times are around 2 hrs between patients. The general big building clinic is also horrible. Staff sits to chit chat and glances at you while youre standing there waiting to get checked in and does not care. They look at you with a mean mug look and literally show you they hate there job with there tone. They give you an appointment but make you wait between 1-1:30 hrs to get seen regardless of your appointment time. I had an appointment at 4, got seen at 5:15.

Super great experience in this program. All staff and therapists are very well educated on OCD. Would recommend for all people seeking help. Exposure therapy that I did here helped me work on my compulsions and live a more fulfilling life. Shoutout Natalie, Fred, Leo, and Melenie!

The most confused and unprofessional place to go too. One of the lead specialist named Gemma De La Rosa is one confused incoherent individual. No customer service skills whatsoever. Also, could not answer basic questions. They give you the run around and indirect answers to your questions. I highly recommend not coming here. Don't waste your time here. And please save yourself the hassle and don't waste your time talking to Gemma lol

All the great people! Hope to visit some time, in a different situation though ☺️ God bless them all !

Champions residential drug and alcohol program for women and their children. I lead a Celebrate Recovery meeting here every Friday night. This facility is a good place to get help if you are a women that suffers from addiction and you want a change of life.

Best Doctor's I have ever had Dr Rao is Amazing! So is Dr. Fu. Everyone is very Friendly with the exception of 1 Doctor. Place is kept Very clean. Parking can be tough at times, there is handicapped parking. Medical Assistants are super sweet too.
The therapy was absolutely mediocre, please don't go here
10 years ago I would have given 5 stars but things went very downhill at La Cheim. First, most of the good therapists / staff they had either quit, retired or moved onto something better and now what's left is a couple of the good people who didn't leave and a bunch of cold, uncaring, unprofessional and unorganized new staff. Dr. Beckerman retired unfortunately, he was the best! He has been replaced by Amanda Morrison who should definitely not be working in the mental health field...or working with people at all in any capacity. She's horrible, cold, uncaring and that's IF she gets back to you.... I left a voicemail that never got returned, so I tried again, still no return call and I tried a final time and finally heard back 2 months after that the way she talked to me and treated me, I don't even think she should be a janitor in the building... she shouldn't be around people, especially people dealing with mental health issues... she needs to go! I truly can't believe that out of all the potential people who could have taken Dr. Beckerman's place they chose her... ?! Hiring a patient would have been a smarter move. I mean, no one could ever replace Dr. Beckerman, but they could have at least chosen someone to take over who is semi nice and professional who at least cares a tiny bit about her job and other people in general. I don't know much about a lot of the other new people they have there but I really hope Ed, Noam and Lorna are still there... they were the last few good ones La Cheim had left last time I checked. Without Dr. Beckerman, Ed, Noam and Lorna I can't imagine there being anything good about La Cheim anymore, especially with Amanda there.
I went to the Read House this last spring to Aug 15th it was a great experience the staff were awesome and even the CC'S AKA non clinical staff my favorite CC was Albert my counselor was great I stayed 2.5 months.
Great clinic for everything besides behavioral health. Long wait, only to find therapists here are typically grad students, just doing their internships. Hard to feel they care or have your best interests in mind. Rather, they’re just going through the motions, going by the same script I’ve heard too many times before.

Absolutely useless group of people who will promise a lot and fail to deliver on anything. They will run your life and disregard all your needs, then brush you under the rug and ignore you when you want to die because of their shortcomings. It would be a celebratory event if all branches of Felton bursts into flames.

I recently visited the mental health urgent care facility, and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience. When I walked in, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. They were attentive to my needs and made me feel seen and heard.

I went to this facility around September 2020. I was 15 years old, this was my second residential, and I was in an extremely unhealthy home relationship. I was a run away, trying to escape my family (whom was extremely abus!ve.) My therapist was Joi Johnson, and though I had some minor break throughs she was one of the worst therapists I’ve ever had. I cannot speak on her current practice, but she was extremely abrasive, told me I should want to go home to my physically harmful living situation instead of to foster care, refused to call me by my preferred name (it was just another feminine name that I had gone by for 5 years at that point,) agreed that my father h!tting me was reasonable, and humiliated me in groups. There were other therapist that would humiliate other patients and publicly announce back tracking in their progress, there was a point based system that made everyone feel inadequate when they weren’t on perfect behavior (and those that scored the most points admitted they were just pretending so they can go on outings,) EVERYTHING that was said to other staff was reported to my therapist and I was reprimanded by Joi constantly. They encouraged everyone to not participate in “drama” but we felt entirely isolated if we did not talk with our peers, a “love confession note” was given by one of our peers to another and it was confiscated and read OUT LOUD IN GROUP by a therapist. Poor behavior from “popular” patients was rewarded, there was obvious favoritism. It got so bad that I had constant anxiety and refused to leave my bed. It was the most sick and twisted thing ever. I gave 2 stars because the food was decent, the cooks were always nice, and the place was decently clean. There was some good moments but man I still have nightmares about this place (enough to write a review 5 years later.) These therapists and staff try extremely harsh approaches that left me in a state of psychosis for months after the fact. Not to mention they incorrectly diagnosed me after only 4 30 minute sessions lol. My “disorders” were only reactions to the harsh conditions I was living under and couldn’t even escape at a residential. I kept in contact with my peer group from the time and we still agree to this day that it was one of the worst lol. If you want your child to go some place for a little over a month and come back completely compliant cause they’ve been brain washed to think your behavior is okay, then this is (or at least was) the place! Thanks for the memories DMAP, hope you improve!

I was desperate looking for help for my 16 year old son who told me he was depressed and felt like killing himself sometimes.

My daughter was at Innercept in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho from Feb 2017 to June of 2018 which has since been rebranded as Paradigm Treatment. The program didn’t work for her and she came out more traumatized then when she was admitted. As a parent I would recommend that you think very carefully about the objectives of placing your child into any RTC program. They all advertise success (which may occur in some cases) but in our case it wasn’t.

My primary NP is Deborah G. so this is not my first time receiving treatment at this location. I was experiencing vertigo with an elevated blood pressure. I went to urgent care and the ER without finding out the problem. On Monday, May 23, 2022 I went to Me Wuk in Tuolumne. I saw NP Deborah, she checked my ears, somfething they did not do at the ER visit. She recommended high blood pressure medication, and having other area checked out. Last was my prescription for my ear infection. As of Tuesday still charting my chart. I didn't get my prescription called in until Wednesday, 2 days later for an ear infection. I was not pleased with how long this took.
