This place needs a new staff from top to bottom. I would get their voicemail most of the time with no returned call. Then when I would get a call back there was always confusion. Karen told me she was new with very little training. There were some delays before my first appointment but that was also partially my fault. We saw Nicholas Rogge who really needs to work on his people skills. The impression we got was he didn't want to be in our session. I gave him my insurance card at the beginning of the appointment and watched him scan in. Some how the admin office never received it. No big deal. After spending almost 30 minutes doing their paperwork I emailed for another appointment. Nicholas suggested every other week at a time I could not make. I suggested every 3 weeks as our situation is not extreme. He emailed back telling me he is no longer available Wednesday evenings. That was why we started to see Nicholas (for evening appointments). Nicholas first told us Wednesday evenings were good for him. He was very clear in his email to me that he is not open to new clients every 3 weeks and will only see established clients on Wednesday evenings now. We would not recommend Innervisions.

Unfortunately I never got to see the doctor, I went to a different prohealth address by mistake and called over the phone to check with a nurse if I am arriving 7 min past my appt will I still make it. I was told if it's is 10 min past my appt I will. I got to the building 7 min past the appt only to be turned away by nurse kelly who said you are half way through your appt and turned her back on me and left. Horrible service if that's how a new patient is greeted. I know I was late and was my mistake but I should have béen told to not even come in if they wouldn't honor the 10 min policy. A new appt is 40 min why my 7 min being late is considered half way through my appt? What a monopoly of a joke.

Long delay in communication with intake in trying to get established with a therapist. Initially informed that therapy was open and was set up with a therapist, then few weeks later needed to reschedule due to their own scheduling error due to the therapist not being available on that day, then few weeks later informed that same therapist was only accepting patients with one particular diagnosis which I don't have, then informed that none of their therapists were taking any new patients at all. Not helpful at all and wasted my time going through the intake process and all that unnecessary wait time when I should have been given the straightforward answer initially. Was hopeful then kept waiting, kept waiting, kept waiting. Feel like I was misled and that ProHealth Behavioral Health does not take mental health issues seriously at all, just my opinion based on my own experience.

This is the best institution in the State as far as I’m concerned. Staff are very knowledgeable and very professional. This is no picnic but it beats the rest of the state institutions I’ve been in before.

I have been involved with this program since approximately 1989 and watch this agency go from 10 to 0 in admin their mission. My son originally referred to agency for mental health program and later mental health and drug addiction not only did the programs dwindle but service of the employees has also. I made a complaint to main office I was assured someone would look into my complaint and get back to me. That was about a year ago. However now I'm dealing with another incident with my son and there agency, they don't put the client first with a number of things.

We have actually recently left their clinic as patients. They have put someone's care in jeopardy. They told a patient to see a neurologist and have forced them to go to a different pharmacy for much needed medication over their comfort level and not caring that the patient has seizures. They have been neglecting a patient with seizures for over a month over a comfort level so we have decided to take our health care elsewhere. The patient they are neglecting is a pregnant young lady who has been having seizures. They put their own comfort ahead of what is right for the patient. Their first rule of medicine is do no harm and they have caused a lot of harm. So we have left to find better health care. They truly don't care about the research that specialists do. They tell you to see the specialist just to contradict what is said by the specialist because of their own comfort. Not very good providers.

Have been on hold, left multiple messages, with no help regarding billing issues. They never billed the secondary insurance for anything until after they had already taken co-pays at time of service, 8 months later a check shows up for reimbursement, great! Wrong. It was made out to the wrong person, but had the correct account number and address, have been waiting now almost a year for the check to be resent to me so I can cash it. Have been told multiple times it was in process and approved but again have yet to see the check. Their billing department (or lack there of) is terrible.

Terrible because my Pharmacist said some bad things about me. She’s taking my medication away slowly when I told her I was doing great on it. She said well I’m gonna take it away slowly and give you something pharmacist had told her so instead of making the person better she rather make them go to street drugs it’s like their God and they have your life and their hands

I have been taking my daughter to Abby for quite some time now for anger issues. All of a sudden Abby can't see her more then once every 3 or 4 weeks and that's definitely not enough for what my daughter has been going through. My daughter was recently admitted to a mental institution as a result. She has since gotten out but is back on her anger outbursts. I tried contacting Abby to inform her what was happening and no phone call back. She also said at one of the appointments to ignore her bad behavior. So let me get this straight, ignore it and don't correct it and allow it to keep happening? Absolutely not. I will be canceling all my appointments with Abby as I have found a new and more reliable therapist. No more only once a month or once every 3 week appointments. And hopefully no more anger outbursts from my daughter.

The actions of Shawano County DHS raises significant concerns under the Supremacy Clause of the United States Constitution. Federal statutes enacted by Congress, including the Indian Child Welfare Act, preempt conflicting state action. A state agency may not redefine, narrow, or disregard federal statutes governing tribal jurisdiction. By continuing to exercise authority after jurisdiction had been transferred, Shawano County acted outside the lawful limits of state authority. Additionally, the conduct of county officials demonstrates a pattern of procedural irregularities and misuse of the state child welfare system in a matter that had already been placed under tribal court supervision. These actions resulted in the removal of my minor children and caused significant disruption to the family structure and to the jurisdiction of the tribal court. The conduct described herein raises serious concerns regarding violations of federal law, abuse of administrative authority, and interference with tribal sovereignty. The actions of the county appear inconsistent with the statutory protections enacted by Congress and the obligations imposed upon state agencies when handling matters involving Indian children. I provide this statement as part of a broader effort to document violations of federal law, interference with tribal jurisdiction, and misuse of governmental authority in matters involving my family and my children.

First I want to say I do highly appreciate them being the only place that offers child care, and the therapy staff is absolutely amazing. Once they figure out how to do things correctly, this will be an amazing resource. Unfortunately after my first visit, my 18 month old contracted RSV from the child care center within the ARC clinic. We spent 2 days in the hospital, 6 days of a heavy fever and almost a week with less than 4 hours of sleep a night. We are on day 11 of being sick. My baby went from energetic and happy to miserable and barely getting out of bed. MY TODDLER doesn’t have the energy to play. It’s absolutely heartbreaking truthfully, and this could have easily been avoided. I believe ARC would be a huge benefit to mothers wanting to better themselves if they could ensure our children are safe, which is clearly not the case. I will never bring my child back here, and I wish I hadn’t brought him there to begin with. When I called the clinic to let them know, they were apologetic, but had not ensured that they will do better and be more hygienic. An apology only goes so far without action behind it. Please do better for our children. You need to throughly sanitize after each child that comes in, and you need to decline services to those who come in sick. I’m lucky my child is a toddler, if he was under 6 months, I could’ve left the hospital without my baby.. Do better. edited to add: I had assumed the RSV likely came from another parent and child who goes to the clinic, however after speaking on the phone with a staff member a second time, she let me know her child recently had RSV “a week or two ago” RSV can stay contagious even after symptoms are gone, so this explains a lot!

I loved the teachers at this facility. Some of the staff were decent as well. My problem with this place as a teen and now as an adult are as follows. I was overly medicated. Every time I took my 4pm medications I was struggling to make it through dinner with out falling asleep. And if you refused your medications with the reason I gave above you were told you were not being compliant and threatened with punishments. You were never really listened to by your care team. They had gag orders on girls and boys who couldn't talk to each other because we would all try to flirt. I mean help is a facility with a bunch of teenage boys and girls. I think it would of been more beneficial to teach us how to all positivity interact with each other. I really hope this place has become better for the clients it serves.

Customer service is appalling. I really cant believe how difficult it is to speak with a live person. Phone call handling is poor at best downright unbearable to listen to at worst. They ask you to complete a survey so they can improve customer service. All you need to do is answer the phone!

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Wisconsin?
When comparing providers in Wisconsin, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Wisconsin?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Wisconsin?
Yes. Mental Health US includes Wisconsin providers that offer mental health services, substance use treatment, or both. You can use the available filters to narrow results by treatment needs, or review individual facility pages for more detailed information about the services and conditions each provider treats.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Wisconsin providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
