You get hung up on trying to help other people figure their way through the system, been trying to call for multiple days, peters the good one. Nobody else cares they treat you like a number and like a criminal.

This place is terrible. They do not care about your recovery. They do not treat you like a human being. The nurses are beyond disrespect and their attitudes are disgusting. They talk to and remind you constantly that they believe they are better than you when really, they're glorified water boys with a name tag. The clinicians do the bare minimum and although there might be a couple good eggs-this is not a place to go if you're serious about your recovery. They are unprofessional, irrational and make it quite clear theyre only there for a paycheck. There are other methadone clinics in the area and other options and if you're not already stuck at this one/or have the ability to get to a different location I would highly recommend it. Unfortunately there is alot of people who don't have the luxury of being able to transfer to different locations and if that's the case for you and this is your only option-i highly recommend being as closed off as possible. Do no open up. Do not give up any information that you don't have to, DO YOUR RESEARCH. Get a hand book and a policy packet and know your rights. Don't be taken advantage of at your lowest like so many others. You are human and you do matter.

Able to get the services that I need but I would like to request that they have more representation for People of Color (especially with Black/Latino women being one of the highest in the homeless population) that use their services. Thank you.
South Bay Community Services, is now, known as, "Mentors." They changed the name and didn't tell half of the clients. I found out one day, just talking to a therapist there. The therapist, I have now, refused/refuses to read the notes that my prior therapist; prior to her, left.. which, I think, is unprofessional & not very due diligent, because that's what gives you the insight of the clients and the mental health issues or problems they have. I have memory problems so even if I have appointments or something like that my memory can slip and I can forget the time. So, Prior, all my therapist from here, have always reminded me of my appointment times, at least the day prior to. And then, this therapist said, that, "she would not do that because she wants to give me my power back;" by not reminding me. Either way, therapists, social workers, mental health workers, etc. should be reading their clients notes & charts before taking them on. I've been here since "2014," at least. Sometimes, I feel like an alien when I'm speaking.🙏🥴🙇♀️🫣🗣️🫥💯👽
come here if you want it to take 2 months to refill a prescription
I left riggs a year ago, I never planned to leave a review but after seeing all the recently negative reviews I feel like I need to. Riggs helped me a tremendous amount! I went for 7 months and the work I did there has carried over ten fold. To anyone who is struggling with a
Awful agency. All the director cares about is money. I had an issue where I thought I lost my medical insurance, the director is not allowing me to see my therapist even though it was a misunderstanding, my insurance has been active the whole time still is active. If my therapist wasn't good I would not do business here. The director is still denying me from seeing my therapist even though I have insurance and it is a glitch in their system, as my insurance is active everywhere else.

Strict no nonsense house. They hold you accountable and do their best to support you in your recovery. Counselors could stand to Listen more rather than barking their wisdom at clients but other than that they do well enough to keep you on track. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be here.

I have been going here for years. The office staff is friendly and very helpful. My doctor here is very easy to talk to and that is an essential part of any therapy. Another important vbb go to therapyunusuzsmy counselor A. is wonderful and understanding and both my doctor
My daughter is 18 and she was there for a week. Everyone was nice to her. They helped her and gave her resources she needed. She received her medication as planned and she was also transportated to a court hearing. Do not let other reviews scare you. She had a great experience here. She stayed at the shelter.
This place is terrible in my opinion, I have been struggling my whole life with mental health but I have been able to function and live, received my degree and worked for the same place almost 10 years but since I've had my youngest child I have struggled severely and even just going outside has been difficult, I requested virtual from the beginning but they gave me a doctor that won't do that and when I finally met the doctor I felt so beneath her, she seemed like a woman who was just judgemental so I wasn't comfortable going to her but it was extremely difficult to find a doctor. I take accountability for the fact that I missed some in office appointments but this is why I really needed virtual appointments. My experience was not good and for anyone else that has found help from them then God bless you and I hope you only have continued happiness but for me it wasn't a comfortable experience.
If it could be a zero, it would. After 15 years as a patient and rescheduling due to lack of feeling safe around a particular staff member, I was fired as a patient, leading to a massive nervous breakdown and aftermath. Lied to about services to be provided and strung along. Traumatized an already fragile PTSD patient. Repulsive inhumane behavior.
I like Dr.hershon from Servocenet and she is also me doctor.
