I liked the day shift staff. They were nice and would have conversations with you. However, I wasn't impressed with the overnight staff. They would chase patients down the hallway into the bedroom, saying we need to go to sleep. I worked at a facility like this before, and I have never seen a nurse chase down people into their rooms like that. It's borderline harassment. Do yourselves a favor and don't go here. The day shift people are fine, just not the overnight ones. It's also harassment when they try to force you to take medications in front of them. The overnight facility nurses need to double-check the way they talk to paying patients. It's not classy. I give zero starts for the overnight workers.

After not having received a phone call from them, i reached out to asses whats going on only to be told that my assigned case worker had contacted some random person this company claimed was my mother and proceed to discuss my entire plan with them with no future plans to reach out to me (i asked). i contacted my mother and she assures me no such conversation took place with her. on top of that my mother is not on my insurance and there shouldn't be anyone but me to contact for anything; This is a massive logistic issue for a company that is literally responsible for handling the logistic of everyday life that people cannot take on themselves. When attempting to address this blantant HIPPA violation, i was only met with excuses and adamantly told this isnt something they can correct or address.

My nurse practitioner that took care of me was amazing, her name is Emily Restrepo. She was phenomenal. She never cut me off. She wasn’t rude. She never made me feel like I was asking for too much or taking up too much of her time even when I lost my train of thought, she never interrupted. She was just great. She listened to all my concerns made recommendation and she prescribed me the right meds. That’s going to actually help me. If you bring your kids here ask for her she was just so caring and memorable.

The most disorganized, lack of care/empathy, mental health facility I’ve experienced. I’ve had nothing but stress and frustration with dealing with these providers & office staff. Back in July, they took me off two of my psych meds *without telling me* they were going to do that which is very dangerous to do with someone with my mental illness. Every time I’ve tried to communicate with Boston Neuro, that I needed my medication refilled or to be seen, they told me, “go to your emergency room.” What er is going to fill a psych med? They will tell me to go to my DOCTOR. The therapist I had here, (while all this was going on) left for two months and I never got a reason why? So I advocated for myself and left. I found therapy else where. With a therapist who doesn’t cut my appointments in half and wants to help me. Like other commenters, I have had a fill in N.P for the last two months. Can’t even get into my own psychiatrist or I’m told “go to the emergency room.” These mental health professionals/companies claim to care about us who struggle with mental illness, but really just look at us like we’re “crazy.” We are human beings who want to feel better and deserve respect as individuals from our care team. Please, as a company do better.

I am so surprised at the low reviews this wonderful facility is getting! I have been here from cardiology check ups, stress tests, blood work, to orthopedic services and every single experience has been wonderful. A lot of people get frustrated because of the kiosk check ins due to lack of technology knowledge, but I appreciate their system and the entire staff is all courteous, helpful, and understanding. Knowledge is key and their doctors are superb. I trust everyone here with my medical care and it is such a relief for someone with serious medical anxiety. Thanks to all for everything you do. You make this community such a beautiful experience ✨️ ❤️

Incredibly understaffed facility. Excuses about lack of funding is the answer you will get if you complain. Medication dispensary is easily manipulated due to archaic record keeping. This place has gone down hill for a while now. Current director is very inexperienced which does not help things. They are moving to a new building soon, but i feel bad for the people who are really trying to seek help because theyre just being used for their insurance.

They lost my liver blood work, and didn’t notify me for 3 days causing me to have to stay another night. 3:00 afternoon med not given till 4:20. Social worker: finds a PCP- faxes over all my private medical records- I live in Ma. This PCP was in Wisconsin, great.. Social worker: I will confirm with your husband that he’s picking you up. He never heard from her. Social worker: I will call your therapist/med provider to set up an appt before you leave, they never heard from her. She gave me a phone number to an IOP, no real follow up on that. They lost my suitcase- par for the course. The floor staff was amazing 10 out of 10. Food was good! I have never witnessed a bigger un organized mess from the nurses and nurse/NP. Got a call at home the day of my discharge saying that a Monday - Friday 9-3 partial was a set for me to attend starting Monday. What, this was never discussed with me at all. The partial was an hour from my home. Showers were not mandatory and the place stunk.

I have done intensive research on the house as my hearts desire is to also open one of my own. And what I see, on “paper/internet” , is that your program runs closely to what I have put together. I’d like to open one in southern Worc county. There’s 0 for the fellas!👌🏽💯

Im seeing a lot of negative reviews about Dr Koslovsky. Ive been a patient of his for years now. I can be an extremely sensitive person and I can say with all honesty that hes truly a professional. It's important to keep in mind that he is not a talk therapist, maybe he wont be the most responsive to emotions but he will listen/observe and find you a treatment plan. He is straight to the point, knows his stuff, and does his job. Not only that, but he is the first doctor ive met that is open minded enough to listen to my own concerns about particular medications and not push or shut me down. Shout out to the front desk staff too! Insurance/billing issues and refills are usually a breeze!

To the Management of Faulkner Hospital: please audit and improve signage across the hospital! Patients are going around disoriented because there is NO proper signage anywhere! The front desk is not attended. The phone number is not working. The directory is on a tiny piece of paper and printed only on one side, I found accidentally. Then the Radiology paper sign says “Radiology has moved” WHERE?! Please put yourself in the shoes of the patient and ask: is this sufficient information for patients to quickly and easily get to their appointments? People don’t have 15 minutes to explore the hospital and find the office they need because the hospital doesn’t do its job. Plenty of wall space to install a Directory like a hospital that respects itself and its patients! Please! P.s. In my experience, routine medical service has been ok at Faulkner, but do not come here for emergency services if it’s for a child.

Extremely thorough providers in my opinion, I’ve had nothing but in depth mental health treatment from them, a few years ago and returning recently as I needed a new provider. They are for the community, and want to see people with significant issues live a more productive, peaceful, and normalized life. I’ve read some bad reviews on this place through google and really couldn’t disagree more. I feel the ones commenting so negatively may have not had the best attitude towards their treatment. I’m just a patient who has seen genuine people there. People that are so assuring that you can tell they’re passionate about what they do. Motivated to get the right treatment plan and continue my healing process with them.

BSCC failed to adequately diagnose and treat my mental illness. Upon seeking tx. I was assured comprehensive tx. medical, clinical, and social services. My chief complaint is unwanted thoughts, and after some 5 weeks I was still not given a Tx. Plan and not one single referral. Therefore, I would caution anyone who is truly suffering against seeking tx there. Thank you for considering my view and feel free to contact me if you're interested in hearing my more in depth review of BSCC

I think the staff .. clinicians.. counselors.. etc are above and beyond what their job entails. It’s very easy going… staff always makes time for you… and a few I think are extra special… do amazing groups .. etc… I just want to thank the team there. It’s a tough job… you see tough situations.. but the team is incredibly supportive and non judgmental. Thank you for your kind and giving service.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How should I compare mental health providers in Massachusetts?
- When comparing providers in Massachusetts, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
- What should I ask before contacting a provider in Massachusetts?
- Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
- Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
- No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
- Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Massachusetts?
- Yes. Mental Health US includes Massachusetts providers that offer mental health services, substance use treatment, or both. You can use the available filters to narrow results by treatment needs, or review individual facility pages for more detailed information about the services and conditions each provider treats.
- What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
- If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Massachusetts providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
