Billy T. Cattan Outreach Recovery Center has truly been a beacon of hope and transformation in my journey to overcome alcoholism. From the moment I walked through their doors, I was met with compassion, understanding, and an unwavering commitment to my recovery. The staff at the center are nothing short of extraordinary—they are not only highly skilled professionals but also deeply caring individuals who genuinely invest in the success and well-being of each person they support. The programs offered at the Billy T. Cattan Center are comprehensive and tailored to meet the unique needs of every individual. The holistic approach they take, addressing both the physical and emotional aspects of addiction, has been instrumental in my healing process. Through their innovative therapies, support groups, and one-on-one counseling sessions, I was able to rebuild my life and regain a sense of purpose that I had lost for so long. But what truly sets this center apart is the sense of community and belonging it fosters. At Billy T. Cattan, I never felt alone in my struggles. The camaraderie and support from the staff have been invaluable, helping me to stay motivated and focused on my recovery goals. Words cannot express the depth of my gratitude for the Billy T. Cattan Outreach Recovery Center. They have given me the tools, support, and encouragement I needed to reclaim my life and embrace a brighter, healthier future. I will forever be thankful for their dedication and for helping me find my way back to a life of sobriety.

My Family and I have had nothing but good experiences with this facility and every staff member including the social worker and her Doctor. The communication and visitation process are very clear and easy to understand. Most importantly, they keep our Daughter safe and they are constantly trying to improve her mental health. Many Thanks to this team of health professionals. Very grateful for everything they have done thus far.

Don’t even think about going here for a Psychiatric Evaluation. They look at you for 20 minutes and immediately prescribe you with medication and diagnose you. I was mis diagnosed with Bipolar 2 on the FIRST appointment (new patient too) and was prescribed Anti Psychotics. I went to a new place out of the suspicion it wasn’t done properly and was treated better and was looked at during the span of weeks, and was given a proper diagnosis. Do not go here for mental health.

All I can say is Exceptional service. Sending my daughter here was the best decision for her. Everyday she would come out and say how amazing her day would be. She was overall happier and when she returned to school I had so many great reviews about her behavior and progress. Carrus Care Frisco is who I have to thank for my daughter being her happy self again.

I contacted them as I had to complete an IOP. They said they would get my insurance approval, which never happened. They kept promising me they would get it, while they were charging me $225 for every session. Finally, I was told that the program would be $12000 since my insurance did not approve it, so the $775 I paid them and the passing weeks were wasted and they refused to refund me. I found another IOP program which was $1500 for the whole 12 weeks. I had to restart again losing all those weeks they kept me hanging and charging me meanwhile. How can a program that is offered for $1500 somewhere else be $12000? They are horrible!!!

I come here for my mental health and the services that they provide help me with counseling and therapy that help me get thru another couple of months they show how much they care by the sessions I attend and I don't feel judged when I speak wut goes on inside this place definitely helps me to get so much off my shoulders and the medicine they prescribe they make sure to follow up and see how there working its nice 2 have a place with a Dr that doesn't immediately place u in a hospital

This place DOES NOT serve as intervention methods for at-risk youth. It does the complete opposite and exposes at-risk youth to even more deep and severe risks. The personnel working there constantly seek confirmation bias within their youth groups completely disregarding their individual and environmental needs. AND THE FACT THAT EUGENE IS STILL THERE 💀

My first time back since 2018, things are so different but the system they have developed works well for me as the patient and them. NTBH financial assistance is a God send I had been without treatment for several years bc I didn’t qualify for Medicaid. My Doctor is great and receptionist at Harry Hines office is such a sweetheart. They all made my day.

I have been in the VA system for treatment since 2006 out of all of that time and all of the services I have been through I have had one bad doctor. My only negative experience. I have been treated professionally and with reasonable timing with excellent doctors, excellent nurses and the staff is off the charts with exellent services. Because of moving I have been in several different locations many different doctors many different locations and have never never been disappointed. I am a vietnam-era veteran. I still get excellent Service as a former WAC. ( Woman's Army Corps member). Thank you for taking such good care of us!!!

Really impressive staff at this place that are genuinely nice, caring, compassionate people! Everyone from the radiology tech that checked me in, to the excellent nurses and doctor! One of the best, most comforting medical experiences I’ve ever had! Thank you for creating such a comfortable environment and having such great staff that harbor so much positivity and care! Truly & gratefully, Zach P.

I was invited for a tour of the facility and got to meet with the director, see the various rooms & they’ve answered all of my questions with a lot of patience. Compared to other programs I’ve seen in my volunteer work, they seem amazing. While much of the program is structured, it’s refreshing to speak with professionals who are organized & still recognize individual needs. They’re extremely connected with others in Austin and come highly recommended. I’ll update the review later, but it’s worth noting their intake process is notably simple + they accept major insurance plans. I’m grateful we have programs like this for people that don’t need full residential care.

This place has helped my son so much. There are workers here who absolutely do go above and beyond their jobs. Anthony has been an angel for our family and definitely deserves to be recognized.
If you are without insurance and take your mental health seriously DO NOT CHOOSE BAYPOINTE BEHAVIORAL!! The doctors do not keep their appointments whatsoever!! I assumed a psychiatrists office would be organized THEY ARE HORRIBLE!! The lady that answers the phone is RUDE time and time again!!! She put me on speaker phone so she could laugh at me crying and ranting. I was told by the doctor i could not get my prescription unless I stopped using weed (dr Peterson has never allowed this) I stopped smoking!! Then, I was affected by hurricane Beryl which triggered memories of loosing everything to hurricane Ike, these jokester still has yet to send my medications to the pharmacy!! This office took my money and did nothing to help my mental health. DR AARON PETERSON professional and understanding to me crying and being upset. Once you read this review look him up for an office that won’t laugh when you’re upset about your mental health being ignored. Imagine me, a black woman spazzing out on someone because I haven’t had my medications, straight to jail I’ll be going, CASH PASY CLIENTS AVOID THIS OFFICE
I went here for nine months and it’s trash. I was on Spring Hill 2 west and it was the worst experience of my life. There are roaches and bug, and people get lice. The food portions are unbelievable and people get body shamed. They pick out a specific diet for you weight group and dietary needs. Staff have horrible attitudes. This place is not therapeutic at all. I don’t recommend putting you child here. They will get jumped for small reasons. It is a very stressful environment. Your not even aloud in your own room during the day. This place is horrible.

Food was great, nurses were great (especially second shift). There was one incident where an agency nurse was extremely aggressive and I reported her to the other nurses on-site. Needless to say, that was her first and last day there. The prompt response from the on-shift nurses was appreciated as they set the tone for a healthy environment. As a Veteran, I’ve found myself struggling with my mental health over the past few years. Unfortunately, I didn’t put much attention into getting the help I needed at the time. I’m proud to say that I am on the right medication and I want to thank every single one of the staff members at this facility. They go above and beyond for their patients. I hope they are being paid what they deserve, if not more.
This facility has helped me out tremendously with my depression, anxiety and isolation issues. It was a very safe place to discuss matters affecting my mental health. Katy is like the best therapist ever. Even Genesis is awesome when Katy is out. I would most definitely recommend it to family and friends.
I have been a patient here for over three years and my life has changed in the best of ways. The doctors and staff are so attentive and can answer any questions or concerns I might have relative to my own unique treatment plans.
