Find Mental Health Providers Across Pennsylvania

Absolutely terrible. Therapists leave after a year. Awful communication with office staff and too many scheduling problems. I would bring my son for his therapy appointments and they would tell me none were scheduled.

The staff are very friendly and always call to remind me of my appointment. My counselor is amazing and she works hard and is kind and great at what she does. I love all them. Also my psychiatrist is very kind and listens to what I have to say she's very good at what she does. Just all around great place to go.

Never consistent always canceling appointments and never rescheduling try them for about a year, and I feel alone without a therapist

I was discharge today and I wanted to leave a review and I read the reviews about staff and everything blew my mind. That was not at all my experience. These people that work there are beyond amazing they are some of the kindest and genuinely caring people. I am so grateful for all their genuine compassion for what they do and the people they help God bless all of you 🙏5 south

Dr. Oldenburg is an incredible therapist. I have the most up most respect for her. I don't trust people at all, but with her she has a way of helping even if you don't say much. I would without a doubt recommend her to anyone. Sometimes you don't get the right therapist and you have to try someone else. Thank God I found the right one the first time.

I used to think this place was cool until today. I tried to get an appointment to schedule and get in and find out that you have to walk in. You know the problem with that is I'm not some lazy SOB who's on SSID and have a job so some of us actually need appointments. Thanks a lot great job I'll go find somebody who's more in tune

Horrible customer management! I had scheduled an appointment over the phone in November, and when I showed up was told the counselor I was supposed to see did not show up that day and I would have to reschedule. Now, on the morning of my rescheduled appointment (1 hr. 20 mins. before) I receive a call saying my appointment needs to be rescheduled AGAIN and was not properly entered into their calendar. It’s likely I only received this voicemail because I called the night before to confirm my appointment. When I called back, they were able to get me in for a Telehealth visit as soon as the next day with their Bloomsburg office. I can only hope that location has better calendar management skills. I could have waited for an in-person appointment, but I do not trust the Williamsport office at this time to honor and respect my time. I am overall upset with my experience with Genesis House, and this less-than-ideal solution of doing an initial assessment over the phone.

Look like anywhere you get what you put into a place like this. There were a few staff who really stuck out. Like ca dusty and ca q and Lindsay. They were fair and went out of there way to help you. Miss Becky is a good send. She wasn't my counselor but watched her go above and beyond for the ones on her case load and any one else who asked her for held. The head lady Malaya is one tough cookie but is thural and fair. Plus the most professional person I ever met even while dealing with all the strife and chaos.the nurses were great and the food was awesome. But they honestly need more staff . So they can actually do there job to the degree and level they want to and is needed. However the people there , patients made me feel like family and I will miss them all greatly.

I went in in April of 2023. I am an alcoholic, I drank non stop for over 30 years. I spent 34 days there, and I'm so glad I did! Best decision I ever made. 4•18•23 is my sober day. They charge you $400 out-of-pocket for an initial consultation which is utterly ridiculous. Took me maybe half an hour to find a psychiatrist online for four times less than that amount. Not to mention the completely unprofessional way they responded to a recent 1-star review.

Great place. Friendly, caring staff. When I came in the place was pretty empty that I was seen right away. The facility seems like it's brand new. The casemanager that I spoke to took her time talking to me. They were so helpful that I was connected to a great Psychiatrist within that same week and was able to get the help I desperately needed.

Very bad service here. Never refill prescription like there supposed to. You never get to actually go to the office. My daughter had an allergic reaction to a mood stabilizer and we still don't have nothing to replace it after a month. Been with the clinic for over 6 months and still never got to meet her. Just calls in prescription.

This place used to be sooo much better. Now it's like people don't care about patients. Definitely not the compassionate care I remember getting back in 2017/2018. The psychiatrists they have now are horrible and do not listen to a word you say. Groups are so useless and repetitive and it's the same people hogging the group every single week. You have to complain multiple times for people running the groups to do anything about it. I felt like I was wasting my time going to this place. I did not feel heard by anyone in this place. I found the environment so toxic and negative. Only reason I stayed in this place so long is the mental health system is so backed up everywhere and its nearly impossible to find outpatient care due to long waiting lists and many places not accepting new patients. Do not recommend.
