Find Mental Health Providers Across Missouri

I have been with BJC Behavioral Health for a little over a year now. They have always been very kind and prompt in their care. I have a medical team here that helps me with my medications and a therapist who helps me to process and overcome my specific issues. The front desk has always been very helpful with any questions or scheduling concerns I've had.

I recently finished treatment at the Aviary. It changed my life. All of the counselars truly care about every single clients and are awesome helping you in anyway they can. The nurses are super awesome and friendly. The coaches care and run their butts off helping all the clients. The admin office will work their butts off helping in anyway they can(especially hounding your hr department at work to get your insurance info when they drag their feet getting the info sent off). The kitchen staff are awesome, they work so hard fixing good food and they deliver. Love ya Miss Debbie!!!! Nothing bad to say about the Aviary. Thank you so much for helping me. The front desk staff, as well nurse were very efficient. Dr. Zia is a terrible psychiatrist. He was almost 30 minutes late for first online visit. His phone loudly rang several times during visit. Terrible "bedside" (or screenside) manor. Unacceptable.

My son is currently in the mental health program at this facility. He has a caseworker who does not return any of my phone calls. She does not know the status of my son or if he’s on his mental health medications I’ve tried on several different occasions to reach out to her to help in assisting with my son’s needs. To no avail she can not provide me with an updated status on my son’s condition. Yesterday I got a call from the facility thinking that his case manager was calling to provide me with some updated information. The case worker called and asked for Ms. Harris and I have no idea who Ms. Harris is. When I told the case manager who I was she said “I still don’t have any information yet” this happens every week for this last 8 months. I call her and her boss every week at least twice a week for updates information. Right now, I feel hopeless and to add insult to injury I don’t reside in that state.

Don't call this number it is for people that are on drugs that are on rehab but why would they have this number on here they need to re-edit their info would not recommend

This isn't the company to go to if you honestly wish to progressively get better.They wish you to stay complacent in your instability.

Having worked closely as an Architect with the facility administrators, volunteers, and some of the medical professionals it is clear they have the wellness of the 'patients' as the primary focus. The decision to invest in the betterment of the community through the building of the facility, the staffing, and the great accommodation to help the wide range of situations that can present themselves in a detoxification environment points to the sincere effort to help those in need or dealing with the personal demons of dependency.

The room was huge, converts from labor/delivery room to an actual inpatient room. My labor experience was not just amazing; it was truly memorable because of your kindness and support. I was already 6cm when I came but I did not feel any panic, it was chill and calm. I especially appreciated how the nurses created a fun and light atmosphere, even while I was experiencing labor pains. Nurses/Techs were always there, checking in on me (since I was not a caller) haha, making sure I have ice water/comfy. Also to Dr. Kenny, who delivered my baby with incredible gentleness and expertise. Thank you all for making this journey so beautiful. Shout outs to Kelsey, Rachel, Ashlie and all the nurses/techs who took care of us.

I won't pretend to understand how challenging social work is. It takes a special person to invest themselves in doing something for others because it is right while knowing that they will never see or hear the positive results of their care.

Love this place. Super clean and well maintained. Staff are very caring and professional. Would recommend to anyone struggling with mental health.

This is my least favorite crisis center in the area. They act like they only will treat people close to them, even though they are supposed to not have catchment areas. Their job is to help people in crisis, however they are extremely picky in who they help. It is way easier to get help and resources from either Burrell or KCATC. I would definitely try those first and use this center as a last resort. Not sure if they just don’t like taking patients or what, but it’s embarrassing that they call themselves a crisis center when they deny many people in crisis for petty reasons. Definitely try other places in the area first.
