Integrative Behavioral Health Clinic

Integrative Behavioral Health Clinic, located at 105 East Ash Street in Columbia, Missouri, is a student-facilitated outpatient mental health clinic dedicated to providing accessible and affordable care for uninsured and underinsured residents. Established in 2014 by faculty from the University of Missouri School of Social Work, the clinic offers supervised services by graduate students in social work and counseling psychology, giving clients high-quality mental health care while providing students hands-on clinical experience.

The clinic provides a comprehensive range of services including individual and group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. In addition, IBHC offers risk assessments, needs assessments, and case management. Services are designed to reduce distressing symptoms, improve quality of life, and address disparities in access to mental health care. Collaboration with other university clinics such as MedZou and PhysZou ensures clients have access to primary care, physical therapy, and occupational therapy as needed.

IBHC continues to serve the Columbia community at no cost, relying on student participation and support from grants and donors. The clinic emphasizes a welcoming, supportive environment where clients receive compassionate care and tailored treatment plans to meet individual needs.
