My daughter has been a patient at this office for years, and I was seen here throughout my pregnancy as well, so I came in to enroll my son. I was checked in and had already started filling out paperwork before the front desk staff guy told me they “don’t accept my insurance.” This makes absolutely no sense, considering my daughter was just seen there a couple days ago and my insurance has not changed at all. Instead of double checking or trying to resolve it, the front desk employee simply turned us away after we had already gone through the check-in process. It was a complete waste of time and incredibly frustrating, especially having to bring my child in just to be turned away like that. This should have been verified before check-in, especially for a family that has been established with this office for years. The way it was handled was rude and lazy. No effort to help, no explanation, nothing. If this is how they treat people who’ve been coming here for years.

Dentistry- 0 stars PCP- 5 Stars Do not waste your time coming here for any dental work. I have come now for two separate appointments, and I have still not been seen for a routine cleaning. Both times I have arrived early to my appointment and waited ~45 minutes to be seen, and yet I am still asked to schedule a 3rd appointment to get a cleaning, which is not available for another 3 months! I've had x-rays and cleanings done at other places all in a single 1-hour visit, so I do not understand how they are running things here. I will not be returning. PCP was great on the other hand. Quick service, answered all my questions, and great bedside manner. The only thing I recommend here.

Healthcare Alternative Systems really seemed to say, "Let's make mental health even more stressful." After waiting three months for my appointment, I missed it because the receptionist - who was completely unprofessional - gave me the wrong date over the phone. I thought I had everything figured out, but I was wrong. Not a single apology was offered. Calling them is pointless; their phones might as well be decorations. No confirmations, no reminders - just confusion and bad vibes. If you're struggling, try journaling or screaming into the void - both are more reliable and helpful than this place could ever be.

So, I take it the same woman who answers the phone for the, now shutdown men's residential location, has been working there for about 5 years? Has no one ever told her she needs a customer service class? She's very rude. I'm aware of HIPAA laws..... and customer service. I get it isn't a customer service position, per say, but you still need proper manners when answering phones and de-escalation skills. This woman will just read off I cannot confirm or deny that individual blah blah blah..as loud as she can and over the callers voice and words etc. I am also listed in a resident's file as having a full release. Other people have been civil and nice at times, but this woman has no people skills whatsoever.

I called ahead specifically for adult autism testing and diagnosis and was told this is a service they provide. Based on that, I scheduled and spent about $100 on Lyft rides to get there. I was there for nearly four hours, and it became clear no one understood I was there for a diagnostic evaluation. The assessment felt extremely generic and surface-level, with no explanation of what was being done or why. They then sent in an occupational therapist, which made no sense for a diagnostic appointment. He gave no direction, and I had to repeatedly ask what he needed from me. There was no clarity about the purpose of that time at all. Afterward, I was told I would see a nurse practitioner next, who may or may not do autism testing. No clear plan, no explanation of the diagnostic process, and no indication of who would actually diagnose. I was also told they would call me to schedule once the nurse practitioner returned from being sick. That was two weeks ago, and I’ve heard nothing. The entire experience felt disorganized, poorly communicated, and unprofessional. I came in for a specific service, was told they provide it, and instead got a vague intake process with no clear path forward. This was a complete waste of time and money.

I was admitted here 7 times this last year. I really enjoyed the 10 minutes of outdoortime. I got banged out the activity leader, he had a nice smaile. I would sometimes escape with a couple others but it was chill. I think the tards yearn for freedom. I smelled a weak flavoring of Tylenol pills in my steak. Still haven't gotten my illness restored at this point. Also the profits on my thing where full cash back.

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not trust this place with your mental health it was a horrible experience that negatively impacted my mental health(the one thing they were supposed to help me with) DO NOT waist your time, money and mental health with this place. The most disorganized company I have ever dealt with. I would recommend LifeStance Health Illinois, they have been a million times better as they are professional, organized, clean, inviting and actually care about you and your mental health. Vivia tries to trap you in by only giving you enough meds until your next visit and then fights with your insurance company as your insurance company will not allow this type of shady sales practice. Vivia should be ashamed to call themselves a mental health provider

Office can't answer phone. When I call, I am present. When you have to leave a voicemail for them to call back, I may not be available. I just had a simple question about insurance that is very consequential and time sensitive for me. But they're too busy. Hmm, what a way to treat the mentally ill. Don't pay attention to them!

This place should be shut down and I've seen what the Lord God is going to do to these people. They cut one of my medications off abruptly with a plan I never once agreed to. They pumped me full of 6 mg of risperidone within a week of being there when 3 was already hurting me and never even told me the increase.

I had a really frustrating experience here and feel like people should be aware. Before my appointment, I was asked multiple times to provide my insurance. I submitted my Blue Cross Blue Shield information through the portal twice, and when they still said it was missing, I even emailed them a picture of my card. They responded “thank you” and never once mentioned that my insurance was out of network. I went to my appointment assuming everything was fine. Then AFTER my appointment, I get an email saying “sorry, you’ll have to pay $320 because your insurance is out of network” and even said I could cancel the appointment… which had already happened. That is not acceptable. Insurance verification should be handled before the appointment, not after. A $320 bill is not a small mistake, and this could have easily been avoided if they had communicated properly. When I reached out to billing, all I got was a simple “sorry” with no real resolution. Overall, really disappointed with the lack of transparency and communication.
