Honestly there are better options out there that work on sliding scale. This office is highly unprofessional. The office staff is not informed very well therefore cannot inform patients of requested information very well. It seems as though office turnover is extremely high resulting in disorganization and miscommunication or no communication at all. They violated the no surprises act, the owner has a pistol sitting at his desk which is illegal considering they accept Medicare/medicaid, they don’t do the requirements for certain medications such as bp check, hr check and weight check, and the doctor is often made out to look bad because the office does not provide him adequate equipment to fulfill his job to the best of his ability and in turn his patients suffer as well. The office staff often says it’s the doctor and that he’s not the best, which is completely unprofessional. It’s unfortunate because it seems as though the owner truly wants to help his community, the execution just needs major improvement. Highly suggest looking at other options before resorting to this facility.

i am writing this in hopes you ALL decide to take one look at how you are running things and realize “maybe we are doing more worse than good”. how are you gonna claim you are helping people recover, get & STAY sober, but yet actively denying people entry into NA meetings? i am genuinely curious. does it make you feel bigger? not allowing others access to resources they have had for years? i will gladly start bringing some social media attention to this matter really soon. because what?!

Tim in medical records might need some additional customer relationship classes. His inability to listen and finish my sentences makes communication exceptionally difficult.

The office staff seems to be incompetent. Never checking voicemails so it seems because I never get a response from any voicemail I leave. They rarely answer the phones either. I had a pretty rude experience with a med manager there which I will be switching back to my current mental health clinic for med management services again. I don't deal with unnecessary rudeness when I happen to be respectful and polite. 10 out of 10 would not recommend this place, unless you want to deal with incompetence.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Idaho?
When comparing providers in Idaho, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Idaho?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Idaho?
Yes. Mental Health US includes Idaho providers that offer mental health services, substance use treatment, or both. You can use the available filters to narrow results by treatment needs, or review individual facility pages for more detailed information about the services and conditions each provider treats.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Idaho providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
