let me start by saying I did a massive amount of research and was actually personally recommended to Willowsage mental health services by my previous counselor. I really wanted to be impressed, however I was continuously disappointed with Willow sage mental health services. I got on a waiting list about 10 months ago for these guys. I was forgotten on the waiting list at least four times and had to physically call to make sure that they added me to their waiting list again. Was then told after months of waiting that since they took me off their waiting list I would be bumped to the bottom. This happened multiple times and when I requested that I could be added where my rightful place was they said that they can't. I believe this was not truthful and that they just messed up and I was the one who suffered for it.Totally incompetent . When I first scheduled they told me that it would be at most 4 months to get in to see The counselor that I wanted to see. I was willing to wait because I had faith in Willow sage services that they would make sure that I would get the assistance that I needed. Not only did they not call me back on a regular basis like they said they were going to but they also went from 4 months to 6 months to now we are at 10 months and basically they forgot about me repeatedly. I put my faith in the team over at Willow sage services and was not treated with care. If you have any sort of mental health requirements I would not put any faith in the staff over at Willow sage mental health services. They just don't care.

Kathy should receive a gold medal and her counsel should be held in the highest regard, Brandon and Faulk as well. I've had plenty of experience as a patient here. Melony on the counseling staff is superb, Johnny as well. Dan and the awesome grey haired guy, whose name escapes me at the moment, also commendable. I've seen staff come and go through the last 7 years of being a patient. These people deserve recognition and applause.

Horrible place. When a parent disagrees with adding multiple New diagnosis into a care plan on the very first visit they will wait until the parent is not around and get him to sign it however they can. They'll take the 15 yr old ADHD kid into a room with multiple people have his young counselor ask for his signature, while the manager keeps him occupied asking all sorts of questions that the manager knows he's interested in. Then when you call them out on it they'll say he's of legal age. How are these new diagnosis added on the first visit by a straight out of college student for a counselor when your ADHD kid has had veteran of 25 years counseling him before and he never had all of these diagnosis. I don't know what kind of Medicaid scam these jerks are pulling but they are not to be trusted at all.

It is a shame that a place like this is charged with helping people who are struggling with mental health. I would think that people who are mental health professionals who are in charge of seeing and administering to the vulnerable and mentally ill, would hold themselves to a higher moral standard. They use unethical and dishonest business practices. They lie to you, and then do something behind your back. If you have a loved one who you want to get help, realize that this place is run by petty bullies who will subvert themselves to incredibly low levels just to stroke their ego. Which is never how a business like this should be run. Ask yourself if this is the type of business you would trust your vulnerable loved ones with. I am shocked at how immature I have seen the staff act. Leaving this review after feeling very offended at how this company treated someone very close to me. Tueller outrightly bullied my loved one for no reason. Disgusting behavior, and a very unethical and shady business. I have been blunt during this review, as I feel it is an obligation to warn others of just how shady Tueller is, and after reading other reviews I see a consistent theme. Please find help for your loved ones, but if you can, find somewhere else, or just be very guarded and document everything. But is that how you want to have to be at a place like this? Respectfully, A concerned citizen who cares about the treatment of the vulnerable and the mental health professionals in my community.

One they didn’t do anything to help you. All they did was do legit groups meetings in the am and the rest of the day you were watching tv or hanging with other patients. Also staff was super rude especially the case workers and also they held me 3 extra days when I was supposed to be let go after 72 hours. All the patients basically agreed we were just watching tv 99% of the time and the classes were just nothing to help anybody. It feels like a scam. Also your staff is super rude when I call and I’m not paying for something that didn’t even help and how rude your staff was.

Made an appointment as a new client and got set up with Willow. Went in for my first appointment and I was told she took the afternoon off, no one bothered to call me. I was then told I'd be called to set up a new appointment, that never happened. I wouldn't waste your time with people who don't care. Definitely not impressed.

There’s one particular receptionist who ruins the experience here every time. She acts as if you’re a bother or an inconvenience to her when she has to do her job. She cuts you off mid sentence, is very quick to send you away, and overall just comes off very rude. I think she would do well to work at a prison or somewhere where customer service and interpersonal skills are less important.

Office staff were all polite, helpful, and professional. The doctor I saw was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and proficient, giving me more than a medical diagnosis. I felt like she really cared and took a good amount of time to talk with me. I never felt rushed. The medical assistant who took my stats down and drew blood was so friendly, calm, and polite. I can and will recommend this clinic. Will be back for well woman exam in future. Thank you!

Worst place! If I could give a Zero I would. I was at a very vulnerable time in my life and truly thought I was here for help. The employees lacked compassion, grace and kindness. This place is full of people with big egos who PUNISH patients for knowing their rights and who know their worth and expect proper treatment. Do not come here if you are seeking healing. The abuse of power is disgusting! All they care about is controlling patients and medicating you into compliance. They do not know how to compassionately treat patients with trauma. I was yelled at because my migraine was full blown and I was in so much pain. I asked if we could answer questions after I received meds and was out of pain. I had requested my meds at 12am and did not receive tgem until around 10am, ten hours later. The shift supervisor "Will" blatantly lied to my husband when my husband asked why the staff treated me so poorly. They withheld my migraine medication because I wanted to leave and stood up for myself, it wasn't until I demanded to go to the hosptal emergency room for my migraine that they gave me my necessary medication, they accused me of being judgmental of other patients because I was concerned for my safety due to past trauma. When my husband addressed this Will said he saw it first hand, when my husband confronted him about this, Will then admitted he wasn't and he was going by what a nurse said. You have seen bad treatment in facilities like this, well it is real!!!!!! They would not give me my clothes and it was freezing, I asked for a blanket and the nurse said she could not, yet they gave other patients warmer clothing that they had on site. Stay away at all cost! The trauma they caused me was more harmful to me! This place is also very unclean and unsanitary. The staff and lab tech who drew my blood did not was their hands or change gloves between seeing patients!

My son, who is severely mentally ill, was referred to Claravida by State Hospital South after a three-month inpatient stay. He was scheduled for an initial appointment with case manager Sharon. Claravida had already received his medical records, which clearly outlined his diagnosis and the fact that he requires a specific antipsychotic that he metabolizes quickly and therefore must receive as a monthly injection. This was also communicated again over the phone when the appointment was scheduled. Despite having his records and knowing he urgently needed this medication, Claravida informed us they would not administer the injection at his initial visit and was told to go elsewhere for the medication for the month. On the morning of the initial visit, my son—due to the nature of his illness—went missing briefly, which would have made him about ten minutes late. I called to notify Claravida, but Sharon refused to speak with me and refused to see my son. They also claimed his intake paperwork was incomplete, even though everything had been filled out and signed except for one box that could not be checked until he had spoken with Claravida about their policies and procedures. Because of that single unchecked box, their system would not finalize the forms. When I asked for a supervisor to call me back, I received a call from someone else—not with help or solutions—but with a referral to move to a different medication management company entirely. This experience was incredibly stressful and disappointing. My son desperately needed continuity of care, and instead we were met with rigidity, lack of compassion, and a refusal to timely provide the very services he was referred to receive. I cannot in good conscience recommend Claravida to anyone seeking reliable mental health medication management.

Atrocious staff. I’ve never had such a horrible experience with a hospital before. The staff is rude, disrespectful, and disgustingly inconsiderate of their patients. I would give zero stars if I could. They purposefully make it difficult for patients to talk to family members. Changed my loved one’s patient number right after they said we could contact them, then when we called back to get the new patient number they hung up on us. After calling AGAIN they refused to give us the new patient number.

I went to BHC about a year and a half ago. The people there were amazing, and so helpful. I had to travel about two hours to get there, but it was the best thing I’ve done to help my mental health. I still have my recovery book for those rougher days. Because of them and the counseling I had after getting released, I am in a much better head space. Thank you, BHC!

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Idaho?
When comparing providers in Idaho, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Idaho?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Idaho?
Yes. Mental Health US includes Idaho providers that offer mental health services, substance use treatment, or both. You can use the available filters to narrow results by treatment needs, or review individual facility pages for more detailed information about the services and conditions each provider treats.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Idaho providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
