We are so incredibly thankful for this 90-day inpatient program. When our daughter went in, we were scared and exhausted. The staff treated her with so much kindness and respect, and they truly cared about her as a person — not just her addiction. Over those three months, we watched her slowly come back to herself. She gained confidence, healthier coping skills, and real hope for her future. The program met her needs and gave her a strong foundation for recovery. This place gave our daughter her life back, and for that, we will always be grateful.

Recently, I had the opportunity to meet with Suzanne L. King, M.S. MCAP, in her Largo office. The staff were polite, prompt, and professional. Ms. King was extremely pleasant to counsel with. I was so impressed with her professionalism and recommendations. I will not go into details of our meeting other than to say I left there feeling empowered and inspired that there are professionals out there that care and can help. I would highly recommend Solutions Behavioral Health to anyone that needs their services.

My 1st experience was horrible. Went to try and get a massage. Not one sign posted about prices. Rang the doorbell and was turned away for ask for a simple massage and I tried putting it in a language to make communication easier. Asked again and was told they are closed for the day despite it being 12 in the afternoon. Definitely would not recommend simply because of the rude therapist, no price s listed and shady location

I want to express my deepest gratitude to New Hope Corps for changing my life. When I came to them, I was a drug addict living on the streets. Today, I'm a proud father, a full-time teacher, and the wrestling coach at South Dade Senior High — and I’m still an outpatient, continuing my journey with their support, and I couldn’t be happier. The love, structure, and guidance I received at New Hope gave me the tools to rebuild my life. I’ll forever be thankful for this incredible program and the people who believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself.

I started working with Christal over five months ago. My wife and I had newlywed issues coming from different backgrounds. Christal was very tough on me in the beginning with her honesty. Her honesty was a very hard pill to swallow because I can be stubborn in my relationship with my wife. Counseling has been great for my marriage. A breath of fresh air!

My daughter is a dual diagnosis. She was there 15 days and then something went wrong and she wanted to come back home. She went back to try again and on the second day she contacted me and said they were forcing her to leave for leaving to get a energy drink from the store. When she became upset and didn't want to leave, they threatened to have the police come and take her away for raising her voice. She left in a panic and left medication, personal hygiene products and some paperwork. She contacted them to try to get her stuff back and they hung up on her and refused to speak to me. 3 of the employees were extremely rude and condescending. A horrible experience from a government funded housing unit with employees who couldn't recognize an addict in the midst of detoxing while experiencing a psychiatric incident 😕.

i was admitted in hopes of getting better a few years back and i was more miserable then ever. I was treated like a prisoner by the nurses and they were incredibly demeaning. they threatened to tranquillize anyone over things i was appalled at. (not preforming an activity etc) we were shut into our rooms with nothing to do, no enrichment besides starting at plastic furniture and white walls. the windows had writing on it that said “help me” and “get me out.” i told them i did not want to take medicine and they prescribed me pills without names every day. the food was awful and it was the longest week of my life.

The mission of this place is great but the people That work here are not a lot of staff here are disrespectful, especially to those who live in house of hope,The rules and the way things are being Run is way to strict no one needs To be treated as a patient to be examined everyday,The lady’s will hide behind the speaker and Tell you that you have to walk or sometimes open the gate so you can get dropped off but mostly they are extremely disrespectful and Get off on making it harder for you especially if you just worked 8+ hour shift and been on your feet all day,The staff thinks it’s okay to bully or talk badly about the people who live at touchstone The director and the new touchstone staff have spoken disgusting about others situation it seems they take amusement in making others life harder Touchstone has a van but if you don’t catch the director in a good mood she will say no to everything . It’s a lot of Immaturity and disrespect from These adults here that work here The room I was given at touchstone was a disgusting ruined bed my whole bathroom had mold and Maintenance took Months to fix Anything .

A phone conference assessment was scheduled and held his morning for my 93 year old grandmother, for home health aide services with Kiana Cabrera. Midway through the questions she became EXTREMELY accusing, insulting, condescending, and showed a lack of comprehension. I find this to be the most inappropriate way to conduct an assessment. When applying for home health-aide services one should not be accused of neglect, My grandmother has been well cared for all of her life. I would like you to know that Ms. Cabrera demonstrated a grave disservice to Service Resource Alliance and should NEVER EVER be assigned to do an assessment on anyone .

Overall this was one of the most organized treatment centers I have been to. The staff seemed mostly well trained. I enjoyed most of the group therapy sessions and learned about my recovery. There was a good combination of different therapy modalities. My individual therapist was great. Very friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. The housing was very well maintained and comfortable. The COO was very hands on with the program and available for clients to approach with questions or concerns. The program did have its faults in my opinion but that is to be expected anywhere. If you are serious about staying sober and starting a new life I would recommend Bright Futures.

The office staff are kind and very professional. The lobby could use a little work as it was oddly warm, and there were bugs flying around. Other than that, the only downside is that a lot of their tests aren't covered by a lot of insurances. (I have more upcoming appointments so this review may change)

No therapy or help at all. Had 1 or 2 contacts with a therapist, one a 30 second conversation and one 10 minute group that kept getting interrupted. Saw the psychiatrist once for less than a minute.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Florida?
When comparing providers in Florida, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Florida?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Florida?
Yes. Mental Health US includes Florida providers that offer mental health services, substance use treatment, or both. You can use the available filters to narrow results by treatment needs, or review individual facility pages for more detailed information about the services and conditions each provider treats.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Florida providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
