Warning! I was a client with cope at this location, when I lost my access they COMPLETELY cut me off from my councilor and my doctor and was not able to even leave a simple email or voice-mail due to me not being a client or insured. The only good thing about this location is the genoa office inside, even when cope cut me off they gave me a discount for me when I had to pay out of pocket for my medicine. I recommend you chose another place if you are worried about your access being deactived.

Never been turned down by a "professional " Total lack of empathy. I entrust my issues with this organization only to be told " thing have changed " was told to bring cash, my appt was $130 stopped by ATM pulled out 140 because atm only gives multiple of 20. Told that we don't give change you need to bring exact fee. Was told we can accommodate your needs, 26 hours of dv classes in less than 20 weeks. Not the case. Only appts were 2 days a week in unaccomidatable hours. Basically felt as if I was told "we don't want to work with you " first appt was almost a month in the future. Basically was told , yes we can help you, then nope we got your money now go somewhere else. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time and money to get less than needed help. This was court ordered , heaven forbid a person truly in need of therapeutic services falls to this scam.

My psychiatrist is good, I have no issues with them and they have been helpful. However, I take a controlled substance for one of my meds. So it has to go to insurance to be approved and I only get 30 day supply at a time. My insurance decided to not cover that specific one all of a sudden, and express scripts had to send the office and doctors’ assistant the prior authorization forms in a email. I’ve been out of that medication for 3 weeks now, and whoever the assistant I was told was part of handling this issue and paperwork obviously has no sense of urgency. After calling my express scripts, I was told they received nothing from the office or doctor after 3 business days of me giving the office (in person!) the fax numbers, emails and forms needed. I can barley ever reach anyone by phone because they are either “not available” or I get no call back after 3-4 calls with a voicemail. I know people have personal issues and this kind of stuff can be a lot of steps, but there is no reason it should be this delayed. I’m barely an adult and I can’t afford out of pocket for this medication all of a sudden.

Their POND program is fraudulent. Dont use it unless you want to be signed to a lease in a roach infested apartment because they don’t want to actually help and just want to put you in apartments where they can get a bang for their buck. This is a review of an apartment they wanted me to move into but I refused and was denied every CLEAN home I seen and was. Recommended Ellis Midtown(disgusting). Wasted money, time, and gas trying to find something to satisfy them for 90+ days. Just to get nothing. These people do not want to help you (POND applicants) they want to meet a quota and think because you’re homeless you should be okay with living in filth. It’s disgusting and dehumanizing and they need to stop running this program if their only solution is to put you in filthy apartments and “bug bomb” it.

My experience with Child Crisis AZ was deeply disappointing. The organization claims to prioritize children, but most of the funding goes into building new facilities for upper management, not for the kids. These buildings were clearly built for the comfort of leadership, not the children they claim to help. Tori, the owner, makes over $300k a year and regularly gives herself raises while employees remain stuck at minimum wage.

You ignored me in 2019 when I told you guys I heard that staff call that girl baby when her door was shut and her lights were off, when it was brought to your attention the full story of what this man was doing to your patients your staff such as Jacky continued to call the man that SA’d your patients on FaceTime and acted confused when I was aggressive towards him over the phone, your facility is full of people taking advantage of children who need HELP and people that defend and stick by those that hurt those poor babies, one of those girls had to leave early because yall WOULDNT LISTEN to her when she told you what he did to her and it cost her family thousands just to make sure she was safe from a place meant to help her, the fact this place is still open disgusts me

Absolutely mind blowing 🤯 I was a client about 4 1/2 to 5 years ago. And I’m just moving back to the Flagstaff region. I had to call this office to get transferred to administration because it’s the main office but sadly, despite being required to be able to answer these questions by law not a single person could tell me whether or not my insurance would cover it and what I had to do to be able to get into the program again! I had a few problems with this program before the last time I was on it but nothing like this. How could your own administration first off, not know how to get you to a billing person who can answer an Insurance question or whether or not an insurance plan would cover it.🤯

Was here a few years ago. Back in 2021? The staff was so nice. And I’m glad they gave us our phones. I met some of my good friends here. As we all left in the same week and kept in touch. I was kicked out once I got Covid ( literally the same day I found out) when I told the nurse they I couldn’t smell or taste she said “ it’s probably nothing “ the next morning I got a positive test …. Oops. Then I was let go when the hour. Wish there were policy’s in place for those who get covid when inside ( cause if someone is in there for bad thoughts …. Being kicked from a support clinic can be bad for them mentally and further causing damage ). Anyways very good place overall. Clean rooms. And very safe environment.

I appreciate BreAnn and the absolute amazing listener and problem work througher she is. I am comfortable to let my guard down and express my life experiences with her without feeling judged or embarrassed of what I go through in life. I appreciate her correction and guidence as we all need someone who is genuinely willing to help see us for who we are and help without expecting something in return. She keeps me laughing and I enjoy her calm demeanour, beautiful smile, Vogue outfits, lovely smelling perfume and just a delight to be around. Update: Just wanted to update that Denova was very responsive and I did see another practitioner and it has been wonderful! five stars for sure.. I should have throw my $200 in the trash. BUT I scheduled an appointment in person bc I have been feeling terrible. even though I'm between insurances I paid out of pocket for the appointment just to get something something. this appointment was supposed to be to establish care/annual well visit. I especially wanted to get some labs started. The guy was pretty nice but basically told me I hurt bc I'm fat and HE FORGOT TO THE ORDER THE LABS! NOW HES ON LEAVE. THE OFFICE WAS ABLE TO LOOK AT THE NOTES AND BECAUSE WE TALKED ABOUT MY THYROID ISSUE THEY WERE ABLE TO ORDER JUST THE THYROID LABS. I went to my labs fasting but couldn't. go until 10 with my schedule only to find out they hadn't been sent so then I call they say they will send them and info the next week again at 10 again fasting and they only had the thyroid. I've also done online mental health services with denova and I love the online option but every single time I get a new script for some med I don't want to take or a new med to treat side affect from a different med and I'm sick of it and I'm over it. both people I've seen have been nice hence the two starts but the actual treatment is meh. the front desk is loud and gossipy. I was looking at my book but I heard every word about everyone they talked about.

Unfortunately, we spent a lot of time setting up this service for our daughter, but we were cancelled and had scheduling changes multiple times. When we had the service, it was ok. Then they unilaterally decided to change providers without really letting us know until a month of no-contact and no-scheduling from their side. It seems they lack management and staffing to be able to provide any consistent services to kids in need.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Arizona?
When comparing providers in Arizona, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Arizona?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Arizona?
Yes. Mental Health US includes Arizona providers that offer mental health services, substance use treatment, or both. You can use the available filters to narrow results by treatment needs, or review individual facility pages for more detailed information about the services and conditions each provider treats.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Arizona providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
