This is a review for a therapist, Christina Crow. She specializes in deep trauma therapy. I have spent decades trying to find someone who actually gets to the root of my trauma and shows me valuable tools to reprogram my thoughts patterns so I can have a better quality of life. I am so grateful I found her and I am very optimistic about my recovery. It can be hard finding quality providers with government insurance, but I finally did!! Thank you.

Finding the Sanctuary of Sedona was literally the biggest blessing of my life. After years of struggling with sleep issues and unhealthy coping mechanisms, I decided it was time to get the root causes of my issues. With the support of the amazing team of such caring, loving people at the Sanctuary, I received such beautiful care when I was there. Everyone, including the clients, were so supportive and friendly. Not only did I receive excellent medical care and advice… I also had very intuitive energy healers, skilled body workers, and wonderful yoga and meditation guides as well. Connecting to Spirit and Mother Nature through hiking in beautiful Sedona, Walks to Oak Creek, and afternoons in the sweat lodge were very profound. The best part is the family-like environment. At meals we ate with the staff and the residents that live and contribute to this amazing safe haven. It was hard to leave and I will always cherish the healing time I spent there. So grateful! ♥️

I don't know where I would be without the help and guidance of the people at 2nd Chance. The people at the front desk are incredible. They are truly caring people who want to help you with whatever your needs are & are friendly and approachable. You are not just another patient with 2nd Chance. Curtis is hands down the best psychiatrist I've ever seen. He is worth it for paying a visit to 2nd Chance. I have been seeing him on and off since maybe 2017? I will go anywhere in order to ensure my medications do not get played with and I get listened to, and I am taken seriously. Everyone who works here is seriously amazing. I love coming here every week for Spravato treatment with Joneyda... Even the prior auth. dept. works diligently to get you your medications. Everyone here is on your side and so friendly. And there's even a little zen garden out back if you get here early that you can go check out! Seriously love this place.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Arizona?
When comparing providers in Arizona, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Arizona?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Arizona?
Some listings in Arizona may include providers that offer substance use treatment alongside mental health services, depending on available provider data. Use the Core Services filter to search for specific service types, or browse facility detail pages to see the full list of services reported for each provider.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Arizona providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
