These humans are beautiful. If you have decided that you want something different for yourself and your life, Consejo can be an integral part of rebuilding your foundational support. Change is not easy or a quick fix. No one's going to do the work for you. If you're all in with changing the direction of your life then Consejo is a great place to start. This place has absolutely saved my life time and time again. I’ve been out in Washington for 11 years and have struggled with addiction. Melissa is the absolute best and I trust these people with my life. They are companionate, kind and understand what you’re going through. To Lauren and Christina thank you so much as well for always being here for me and I can’t thank you enough for helping me when I’m at my worst !!!!!!!!!! This is the only treatment center I’d call in this state when I’m at my lowest.

I don't normally post reviews. My family and I are from out of town, and my dad was having a medical emergency. EMS at the airport called 911 and wanted him to be seen and evaluated by the hospital. It's midnight and the ER female doctor was demanding us to come and pick him up in the middle of the night (in a city we aren't familiar with, no transport, and zero sleep). The female doctor made it sound like I didn't care about my dad (who served this country in the Gulf War). It's a 24 hr facility as the Veterans Hotline I called mentioned, and the veterans hotline also agreed that it was an inappropriate and rude thing to do to us. Finally we got fed up with the harrasment and attitude, we pay for a $70+ dollar Uber to accommodate all of us. Right when I get to the door, I get a phone call (it's around 2 am when we could finally get to my dad), and the same rude female doctor said they wanted to admit my dad and refused us the proper documents to say he was safe to fly. We'd gone through so much struggle to find a place to stay the night, a ride to go pick up my father, and this facility seemed to act like we were making up everything that had gone down at the Seattle airport. EMS wouldn't have taken him there for no reason!!! We wanted to find out if there was a way to get him oxygen and make the flight more comfortable for him, and again the female doctor (who failed to identify herself) said her shift was almost over (as if we were wasting her time for no reason).

Five years ago, I made one of the best decisions of my life when I entered treatment at a rehab facility in Port Angeles, Washington. At that time, I was struggling and needed help finding my way back. What I found there was much more than just treatment—I found hope, support, and the tools I needed to rebuild my life. The program helped me physically by teaching me how to live a healthier lifestyle and take care of myself again. More importantly, it helped me mentally and emotionally by giving me the support and guidance I needed to work through the challenges I was facing. One person who made a huge impact on my recovery was my primary counselor, Derek. His guidance, encouragement, and belief in me helped me see that a better future was possible. He took the time to listen, challenge me when I needed it, and support me throughout my journey. Today, I am proud to say that I have been clean for five years. I have never looked back. My life is better than I ever imagined it could be. I am thriving, happier than I have ever been, and able to be present for my family and the people I love. Recovery gave me a second chance at life, and I will always be grateful for the role this facility and the staff played in helping me get where I am today. To anyone who is struggling, know that recovery is possible. I am living proof that with the right help, support, and commitment, your life can change for the better.

The Pathlight program and the work I was able to do with their help saved my life. I am so incredibly grateful to have found this place. The staff is full of compassionate, real, and incredibly kind-hearted individuals that you can tell really care for you and your treatment. Special shout out to my therapist Rayna and Psychiatrist Dr.Jang because I worked with an incredible team that I will remember forever. The staff and Pathlight itself has made a huge impact on me and changed me for the better.

I don't know where to begin since everyone at Telecare helped me in their own way while I was there from Nov-Dec 2020. The staff always accommodated my requests and all of the other clients' requests. And it didn't matter how many times they were asked, running around/otherwise had their hands full with their individual tasks, or how tired they were from lack of sleep or whatnot.

Had an ok experience, was not communicated to me that my daughter needed to attend more than once a month to keep status. Called to schedule my daughter, then an establish care for my son. Was told my daughter had to do an entire new referral, intake, and that I needed to pick who I wanted to be seen because both of my children could not be seen in the same clinic despite there being multiple providers. Because I am SO sure, siblings haven't been seen in the same facility especially with a local and recent traumatic school event

Ryther provides great care for foster children with their trauma-focused services. They also provide helpful guidance for foster parents. All the staff we worked with were genuinely caring. Some of the issues our foster child were dealing with were beyond the level of care they could provide, but they were transparent about this and were still helpful in providing our family with support around these extremely challenging issues.

I visited the VA in Walla Walla on Tuesday, April 28th while accompanying a client to an appointment. During our visit, I stopped by the retail store, which I’ve visited a few times before, but this experience stood out more than any other. The employee helping us, I believe her name was Shelly or Shelby, was incredibly welcoming, attentive & genuinely kind. Her energy & level of care truly made a lasting impression. I also wanted to mention how fresh the food was & how many great options were available. It made it easy for both my client & I to find something we enjoyed. Everything tasted amazing, & my latte was especially good. She also had excellent music playing, which made the atmosphere even better. It was bittersweet hearing that the retail store will be closing & that she’ll be leaving as well. I’m grateful we had the opportunity to experience her kindness & service during one of her final days there. She truly made our visit memorable. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

Bottom line, if you're looking for a place to help your child, this isn't it. Period. This place is the stuff they make documentary expose movies in 10-20 years. The only reason this place is still open is the fact that so few places for people under 18 exist in Washington State. It is a mockery of rehabilitative behavioral medicine, or any kind of medical practice, behavioral health or otherwise for that matter.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Washington?
When comparing providers in Washington, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Washington?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Washington?
Yes. Mental Health US includes Washington providers that offer mental health services, substance use treatment, or both. You can use the available filters to narrow results by treatment needs, or review individual facility pages for more detailed information about the services and conditions each provider treats.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Washington providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
