Located in Milton, Washington, Telecare Corporation’s Pierce County Evaluation and Treatment (E&T) center offers intensive, 24-hour inpatient care for adults experiencing acute behavioral health crises or psychiatric instability. This 16-bed, locked facility includes specialized services for individuals with serious mental illness and those with developmental disabilities, supporting both involuntary mental health and DD/ID stabilization.
At the core of the program is Telecare’s Recovery-Centered Clinical System (RCCS), a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach designed to empower individuals in their journey toward recovery. Services include therapeutic support, medication management, individualized treatment planning, peer support, and comprehensive discharge coordination. With a focus on respect, non-judgment, and personal empowerment, the program integrates family involvement, wellness activities, coping skill development, housing support, and substance use education to promote long-term stability and successful reintegration into the community.
