My dad's been in this hospital for three days now it's now day four
When I came to this clinic over a year ago, I was very sick. I was, at the time, a person with undiagnosed clinical depression, uncontrolled anxiety, and severe suicidal thoughts. I was too sick to attend classes. I was self-harming and a danger to myself. Without this clinic, I wouldn't be here today. Without my amazingly kind, clever, and supportive skills trainer, I would not be a whole human for the first time in my life. I cannot believe how much I have changed and grown over the past few months, and I cannot wait to see where life takes me now that I can actually see a future of joy.
The lady here at this place named Onilda sent my son to Palms hospital. She lied and twisted my sons words saying he was wanting to jump into traffic when my son said he had fear of getting hit by traffic not jumping into traffic. And officer Ramirez from Rio had something to do with this also , he promised my son he would go back to his apartment and he didn’t go home until 5 days later
Search this term: Texas mental health care ranking. I dare you! Texas is THE WORST (dead last) state for mental health care and Bell County is ranked lower end of the middle, with a #14 HPSA score. Due to inept funding... CCS is overwhelmed by case load, insufficient staffing and red tape to justify anything more than Chemically lobotomizing the majority of those whom need (and will never recieve) therapy!
My son had his first evaluation here in January. They wanted to do a follow up and said they would contact me. They never did. Then wrote in the evaluation that we never followed up with them, when at the appointment we were told they would call us. The second evaluation was finally scheduled for March. I have gotten nothing but the “run around”, when it comes to getting the evaluation results. The lack of communication from this place is unbelievable, especially for something so important. They always say “we will let you know”, or “we will contact you” and they don’t. I’m not sure when or if I will ever get my son’s results and will probably have to restart the process (which is always long) and take him somewhere else. I 100% do not recommend this place.

Wow, I'm speechless!!

Edit: lowering to 1 star. Would do 0 if possible. Practically Impossible to get a hold of anyone, ridiculously hard to make an appointment between follow-ups... it shouldn't be this hard to see your doctor.

If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would. Not only myself, but my little brother had a horrible experience here. Due to the lack of service he ended up in the mental hospital which could have been prevented had this place assisted him. Not only did they NOT assist him but they also discriminated him and wanted to search him because he had a backpack and was dressed NICE. I called to speak to the intake manager and left a message but she didn't even call back. This place doesn't care about YOU or YOUR mental health, you are NOBODY to them.

I have been waiting for almost 30 days to receive assistance from the Montrose Center, and I haven’t even spoken to anyone about being assigned a case manager. For an organization that claims to be a refuge for the LGBTQ community, this experience has been nothing short of disheartening.

Had a triage assessment for psychological services and spoke to a lady named Brenda. She was fantastic. She was patient, understanding, and overall greatly soothed my anxiety about the whole process of getting treatment.

Absolutely hate it. To me, it feels like there’s not much privacy. This place hasn’t helped me at all, it just made me worse and overwhelmed about having sessions there. I literally cry thinking about going there. It has made me worsen in mental health, and the workers mentioning about taking me to a mental hospital just makes it even more worse. Overall in general, I don’t feel safe there. At this point I just have to lie to get out of there. They made me and my life worse.
I had been with this company since 2018 I had had a pretty positive neutral experience with them however, last year new case management supervisors were assigned since then everything went downhill. Social Security had contact him twice to send documentation of my arm progress or regression, or guess what they didn’t do anything and said nothing and so therefore, I lost my Social Security disability, so if you want to keep your disability in your insurance and your money, please please please don’t hire these fools because you’re definitely regret it I know I have
When you call them and leave messages they will not call you back! Lazy and don't expect anyone to be helpful, they are just there to collect their paychecks.
I have been going to Insight Wellness for a couple years now. Like the other reviewers, hard to schedule at first, impossible to get through on the phone to speak to anyone. My anxiety was increased very much for about 10 months. I had to resort to going into the office to follow up on my prescriptions due to no return calls. It was hard to push through and keep asking for help but I spent 3 years asking for help, calling so many providers not accepting patients 😔 😕 I even went to walk-in clinics and get turned away... I was blessed that an office manager at a practice that turned me away, felt compassion and found Insight was taking patients thankfully! The mental health community is in desperate need of practitioners. I recommend Insight Wellness despite their issues, no return phone calls, or texts, problems getting prescriptions sent, etc...because the staff care and do they best they can helping as many patients as they can. Please fight through the depression and struggle to keep advocating for yourself, it'll be worth it in the end... The treatment and support you will get from Insight Mental Wellness is very good with many virtual appointment options that get less problematic once you're an established patient. The staff are just normal people, doing the best they can for as many people as the can. They don't turn hurting people away... They can't be perfect! But I'll take people who care over ones that return calls or texts when they have no answers.

I had someone I’ll just call her by her initials CD to use her power and get me kicked out of the program lying saying that I no longer have depression and that I was on drugs. SMH 🤦 I don’t do drugs!! I don’t even smoke or drink! Anywho it was her word against mine and she put The big wig against me and had him to call me all upset no telling what kind of lie she told. I would never recommend that place I wouldn’t even trust them to put a bandage on me. I have had a therapist lie and say that I have a personality disorder and I have also had a therapist try to prescribe me some horse tranquilizers from that place. Yeah no thanks. I would not recommend

My foster sons were seen at the Plano clinic on 4/27/26. This clinic only provides a school note at the end of the visit. I need a simple "Standard visit summary" for foster care records. A few days later I drove back to the clinic and requested the visit summary. I received nothing but the run around, road blocks at every turn from this clinic. I was told to contact medical records I signed the release. I was told it will take 10-14 days and there will be a fee! Fee is not waived for foster care. When you call medical records no one answers. I left 2 voice mail messages still no records. This clinic is unprofessional and difficult to deal with. Don't waste your time at this clinic!!! The on line response that I received following my post is for me to call the clinic. How is that helpful when you folks don't answer the phone? I already requested visit summaries twice. If you people truly want to resolve the issue and provide the visit summary you wouldn't instruct me to call again when you people don't answer phones nor return phone calls. Train staff to provide visit summaries at the end of each visit and stop the rude unaccommodating behavior!!!!

Freedom Behavioral Health took good care of our family member during March 2021 and got his dementia medication adjusted so that he now has much better quality to his life. Yes, it was difficult to not visit him during the 2 weeks he was there, but we were able to talk to the staff on a daily basis and received very detailed updates from them. The nurses were very knowledgeable, kind and compassionate, and Dr. Ryder was very effective in evaluating our family member's dementia and treating it successfully. Our family member has been successfully living in a memory care home for the past 2 months, and we all feel like we owe a big "Thank You" to Freedom Behavioral Health for helping him get to this point.

I just want to say that it’s very difficult to look for mental health help in El Paso and there’s usually a waitlist you get put on.. but I was able to get an appointment fairly quick here. Even though I was very skeptical because of reviews and this being my first time, I feel so relieved and glad that I came here! Dr. Schetty was a blessing today and I genuinely felt like I was being listened to. I’m happy I took this step towards my mental health journey. P.S. front office girls were nice, but they do seem busy so I can see how some may see that as ignoring. Patience is key. 🙏🏽
