While I have had some less than ideal experiences with trying to get mental health services here, most of my interactions with CHD have been with the lovely people who do their public health/immunization services. I've been working through a needle phobia and the nicest people I've ever gotten shots from are here! Very kind, patient, and non-judgemental. I would recommend that people of any age who are bad with needles go here for their vaccinations.

I was at this place a few times several years ago. I was grateful to be in a such a safe place while I was recovering from mental health issues as well as addiction issues. I can proudly say I have been sober for 18+months but none of that was because of this CRC place. There were a few staff that were amazing and I appreciated their time and effort put into helping people in my situation. I wish i could remember names, but there was one lady who had just started working the first time I came in. She was so kind and extremely understanding of my situation I had (and still have) with losing my daughter to adoption. I will always be grateful and respectful towrds her because her kindness amd compassion far out weighed the awful head nurse they had working there. If ever there was a person ill suited to the profession they have chosen, it is that nurse. Ugh.

Would give zero stars if possible. Director of program relied on outdated and harmful info. Do not come here if you have ANY other options. I’d recommend Polk Co Behavioral Health 10x over this place.

(Not posted under my real name) Everyone at this clinic was incredibly kind and compassionate to me. I came here fairly late on a Tuesday after being referred from urgent care for severe anxiety due to a very stressful life circumstance and not being able to sleep or eat properly for a week prior due to that. The social worker I met with was very understanding and validated me coming in — without me even expressing that I was slightly embarrassed about it to her. She went through the different options for my situation and didn’t condescend to me even though I was having some trouble getting words out at points. The PMHNP I spoke to after I spoke with the social worker took care to read the notes from the social worker and listened to me and answered all my questions. I felt she genuinely cared whether I would be able to get a prescription filled that same night (I was, miraculously!) and she even offered to call the pharmacy to ask it be filled 30 minutes to close. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly kind and I felt so lucky that I was able to receive the care I needed when I desperately needed it. They even made me laugh at points, which was also much needed. I really appreciated my experience here and everyone who made it what it was.

As a 15-year-old girl I was obviously scared out of my mind when I went there in summer of 2023, most of the staff there were nice.. but others, they made it very clear that they only cared because they where getting paid to... I made quite a few friends there who were in a rough place like I was.. but the reason it's a three star is due to a few negative experiences there. At one point I had managed to find a sharp object and use it to harm myself, after realizing what I had done I had used the call help button. They sent in a

Avoid this place if you're a Veteran. They'll blow you off like they did me. After signing a release for my medical records, I haven't heard anything back in over 2 months. I could of had an appointment at the VA in that time. This is completely unacceptable, especially in mental health. Not even one phone call for an update or an email. Nothing.

Rude rude RUDE employees. Parked outside for all of 20 minutes while waiting to meet up with my CC and had a guy walk up to me ask what we were doing (told him kindly we were waiting for my CC) and then he tells me “no need to have an attitude “ there was no attitude. Maybe if you weren’t nervous that you were being watched smoke marijuana on the job you wouldn’t have that we were rude for sitting where my CC told us too to wait.

I have had an intensly difficult time because of Sage View. I was in my twenties when we met. I am in a facility now, and things are different here. Sometimes it feels like other people don't have my best interest in mind. At this facility now, if I felt that about a staff member it would become an issue with both my therapist and case manager at least. One of the worst things at Sage View is the uncomfortable way these issues are not cared about, decreasing far from best interest. I felt threatened and embarrassed being in your hospital with all the employees that began to know me. We could not get along. Months on meds and I would still end up in PES. I wish you fathom how unbearable it is to be in Sage View. Their employees have eagerly avoided helping me fix or heal anything, while maintaining opposite from positively. ~sofia

I cannot recommend Drishti enough. I’ve been to multiple therapy offices and I have been blown away by Drishti. At every appointment my therapist shows up with a plan for the therapy session, tools and resources to best support me. I haven’t found this at a previous clinic. The staff are nice and friendly. Loren has been amazing for me while dealing with some deep rooted trauma, medical trauma and overcoming a breakup. Other members of my family see various different therapists and everyone has such positive things to say. I wish everyone had access to Drishti, it’s truly amazing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Oregon?
When comparing providers in Oregon, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Oregon?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Oregon?
Yes. Mental Health US includes Oregon providers that offer mental health services, substance use treatment, or both. You can use the available filters to narrow results by treatment needs, or review individual facility pages for more detailed information about the services and conditions each provider treats.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Oregon providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
