The Central City Concern - Imani Center, located in Portland, Oregon, is a culturally specific behavioral health program designed by and for Black and African American adults. Since its founding in 2015, the center has focused on fostering a communal healing environment that honors the identity, lived experience, and resilience of its clients. By integrating an Afrocentric and whole-person approach, the Imani Center offers outpatient mental health and addiction treatment services that emphasize both individual recovery and community empowerment.
The Imani Center provides comprehensive wraparound support including individual and group counseling, peer mentorship, case management, and resource referrals.
