Poor reviews of the place do not reflect reality . If you are unhappy it isn't their job to live your life . I have always liked the staff here . The nurse is my favorite person from here she has always been professional.
I had difficulty initially because I assumed I would be prescribed medication right away. I had to wait 3 months for a provider visit, so, in the meantime, I explained to my PCP and was able to get a few safe medications while waiting. I got into a therapist who has helped me beyond measure and is extremely good at her job. All of the staff I have encountered have been polite, nonjudgmental, professional, and helpful to my mental health journey. I have not had one single bad experience in the past year of going there 2-3 times a month (excluding the obvious difficult but necessary stuff) They have resources to help you in so many capacities and I encourage those who can be patient to give them the opportunity to be helpful.

I feel as if I generally got the help I needed to be able to come home after 60 day treatment plan and continue my sobriety. The staff tries very hard to make you feel like your at home with family. Give it a try if you feel your in need of help from active addiction, they're waiting on ya.

Fattest lady on earth makes decisions on if you need help with addiction. Yet she can’t put down a fork

I remember when this place was called Phil Smalley childrens center back in the 70s . I used to go here cause I assume they thought I had issues. I was diagnosed with tourettes syndrome in 1985 . I hope they've learned better ways with dealing with out of control teens by not sitting on their backs , holding their arms and legs where they can't breathe .

I really admire this place. It offers a safe shelter for troubled and or abused teens who need a safe and secure place to stay. A place where they can come to terms with their problems and can work them out. The staff here is very dedicated, I know several of them, and they are first-rate. This is one of those places you hope your child never has to make use of comma but if and when they do, you think Heavens that they are here.

Terrible don't waist your time with these people

Great atmosphere with kind people!!
I'm telling everyone. If you are in need for any kind of help this is the spot. Steve and all of the staff are outmost welcoming and the most help, But you got to want it! For them to help you. Thank everyone at northwest behavioral health.
Do not recommend if suffering a mental health crisis find somewhere else to go, they will make false claims against you to have you put in their psychiatric facility, which you are on an involuntary hold at, in order to get more profits from the state. The counselor I had was amazing but I had to stop seeing her due to trust issues with the other staff.
Good friendly and helpful Dr. And staff.

Was best in 4yrs .lady at desk was great .new psychologist was understanding

I went for a check because I had been experiencing other symptoms in my life that could be explained millie different ways. The reason I thought was making me sick. I pursued for a few years before giving up and deciding.Maybe it was mental health. I set an appointment with o s u behavioral medicine. Dr Skiles is absolutely amazing. He listened to me for quite some time. I felt like he was generally interested in what I had to say in learning what it is.I needed to feel better. We had decided it wasn't even necessarily mental health.Treatment. in Canada, attending in ame the attending. She declared I was having panic attacks and anxiety. I asked her if she was sure that the other issue wasn't playing a part. She rolled her eyes smiled and it's panic attacks take the medicine. Sheaven scolded me for going off. I took medication from the age of fifteen years, two thirty two years of age. I stopped because I was able to manage my life on my own. I didn't need them. Shevan asked me and a condescending manner like it was my fault that I was sick right now.Because why did I go off my meds back then. I have forty five years old. I got a good fifteen years in without medication. Isn't that a good thing doctor? I just wasn't impressed at all with the attending. If it hadn't been for her, I honestly would have said that was a great visit.

A great place to go - very friendly environment. Carol is an awesome therapist Learning a lot!
Any low income individuals seeking medication management through Red Rock should be sure to advocate for themselves in regards to transparency around cost of medication.

I'm an honest person. and when it comes to the doctor that I see here I feel like she doesn't listen to my feelings about medication. I tried expressing to her that some of the medications she's prescribing me doesn't work for me. And I wanted to try another medication but I feel like she's trying to make me look like a drug addict by telling me that we can try something else if the medication she prescribed me didn't work. and then tells me she's not gonna prescribe me what I feel like would be the best decision for my mental health. I try expressing my feelings to her but everytime I do I feel like she's not listening. I have anxiety and I've given the medication prescribed time to work. but she's still hesitant about trying other options I don't know what to do I have anxiety attacks daily and I feel like my doctor doesn't trust me. I honestly feel like I've lost my battle with my mental health I've been really honest but still can't get her to help me I feel like the doctors here don't take there clients seriously. I came here to get help not to be looked at as a drug addict/dealer.
