I’m not one usually for all the reviews but this is the best doctors office I’ve ever been too. They are willing the always go the extra mile to help you out the best they can or sure try their hardest!

I have Doctor Rook for a dentist and he is very nice, communicative, and gentle. Handles patients with dental anxiety well and not judgemental. Filled in a big cavity of mine, not nearly as long or painful as expected. Have seen him for years, will be seeing him again.

I had my left knee replaced January 23 and I can't thank the staff at Mercy enough for making my stay wonderful. From the time I checked in and both my Nurses were named Stephanie did an amazing job for me. Dr. Switzer you are simply amazing!. The care, the kindness, the countless times that the nursing staff went out of their way to try to make me as comfortable as they could during the rough stretch I had. They were simply amazing!. I unfortunately had complications.. The nurse techs as well! The nutrition department the food was incredible!. The ham and cheese omelettes, the turkey club sandwich, the meat loaf all was incredible!. Unfortunately my stay was a couple of days which was out of our control and all the staff at Mercy Hospital was top notch! I have spent a few nights in the hospital and will continue to come back to Mercy Hospital because of the perfect care I always receive.. Thank for being the best Hospital in Cedar Rapids!. The staff at Mercy definitely is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If I were able to leave a review of zero, or negative digits, I would. The experience I had here was extremely re-traumatizing. Most of the day staff sit their entire shift without doing anything else but text personal messages, and read personal messages, on their cell phones. There was only one staff person, Ms. Tasha, whom I found during the day shift to be extremely wonderful, nice, personable, knowledgeable, caring, etcetera. All the other staff people on the day shift were not doing their job, and if they have talents for that job, they were not displaying them. For people with war traumas or survivors of interpersonal violence, both of which I am, the fact that extremely violent video games, like Call of Duty, are there to be used publicly, the fact that extremely violent movies were allowed to be played on the television, can be extremely and toxically triggering for any rape survivor, for any vets and for anyone else who has a history of being victimized, witnessing, etcetera, mass, intense violence. This, to me, is extremely unacceptable to me. The night shift people, though I didn't interact with them much, were extremely nice and caring. Unfortunately, to me anyway, this place had me access nothing but staff indifference and cruelty and re-traumatization.
Their management works people like slaves. Their pay is worthless. No wonder nobody wants to work there. They don’t allow you to take vacation that is the employee benefit, and they steal the employees PTO time and refuse to pay it out when you have to give a 30 day notice when quitting. Crooked company. The Executive Director is terrible. Upper management does what they want, they don’t care one bit about their employees.
Be prepared for sllllloooww processing and providing lots of proof of everything despite signing a disclosure for them to communicate with other agencies 3-4 weeks process from sending in app to actually getting a deposit on ebt. By the time you get it you’ll probably not need help anymore. I don’t usually qualify but unemployed atm and definitely could’ve used them faster
I just wanna say that Vera French genuinely has made a difference in my life! The staff has treated me with absolute dignity and respect no matter what the situation was. Zero stigma not in language, not in treatment, not in conversation! Truly blessed to have an amazing therapist at an equally amazing mental health
If I never, started coming here to crossrads who knows where I'd be, but whenever I got surgery on my ❤️ heart I feel super blessed to be alive period..the people tht have recently came into my life are awesome I'm just happy! I'm sober it feels great! I want to thank megan, she has been my go to girl!!! feel like she belongs like she has been the angel from God. the girls in the front desk. and especially jesse, hes thorough. He's my therapist, really gets on me when I need it. He's just very good @ what he does and I appreciate it.....BRI

this place will not answer their phone or return any phone calls

This was our first visit, we saw Mr.Bob with our son. He was incredible and we look forward to working with him! Only 4 stars because both of the front desk receptionists seem like the most Impersonal, Apathetic women I’ve ever met. You work at an office where people of all walks of life come for help and these women don’t even look up from their desks to speak to you. My husband and I literally looked at each other like, “is she talking to us?”

I was supposed to go into the dentist yesterday and they called me and canceled my appointment randomly so I rescheduled it for today and they told me to be there at 8:30 for 9:00 appointment. I get there at 8:26 they told me I couldn’t go In because I had to be there at 8:00. I informed the receptionist the lady yesterday said be there at 8:30 for my 9:00am appointment and she said calls are recorded so when I told her I wanted to hear the recording she said I couldn’t no asked to speak with manager she said I couldn’t. She told me I had to call tomorrow to schedule an appointment for Thursday. I have an open tooth that can not be left uncovered. I called the dentist office asked to speak to a manger they said she was available and put me on hold until it went to voicemail. I wanted to come here because of the positive reviews and I just experienced this today and was tempted to call the police because they lied and canceled my appointment the day prior for no reason at all. So much for accepting new patients!!!!!!
My first time at Burgess via 🚑 for chest pain. The staff was amazing. They got slammed about the same time but someone was always checking in on me and making sure I was up to speed on a plan. I was an anxious mess but they never judged me and kept my husband in the loop with everything. I ended up being transported out to Council Bluffs but they did everything in their power to make sure I was comfortable and felt as safe as possible. Hands down the best care I've ever received from an ED staff. Thank you ❤️
November 5 I get a call, not to remind me I have 2 procedures the next day. They tell me my deductible is not met, this I know. It's $796.00 and they go on to tell me if I could bring $210 that they know its alot of money. Then it's "do you have 210 dollars" I m pissed instantly but only say I will pay it all. And did. Here's the problem, it's now February 3 and they still haven't processed the claim so everywhere I have been since the 6th of November is billing me for things my insurance should be picking up so in short to keep my credit from being destroyed I have been paying them basically double my deductible for last year. I know $210 is a lot of money but the $1600 is a hell of a lot more. I'm not using them anymore. And yes I have talked with my insurance provider numerous times
