I’ve tried therapist before with either no success or they just made my issues worse. I am SO glad I decided to try again and went with Transitions! My therapist, Tess, is AMAZING - she actually listens to me, provides helpful tips, is extremely supportive, and is actually hilarious, too, which I love. I’ve been using Transitions for about 3 months now and it’s already made a HUGE difference in my life. 10/10 would recommend for everyone!

This place helped me when I continued to struggle. A combination of treatments gave me a better outcome than I expected. Doing TMS and Spravato with group and individual therapy brought me out of a constant depression and anxiety that I thought was normal and would have forever. I never knew life without the relief of these symptoms. The staff was amazing. Jackie, my therapist was amazing. Robby the physiatrist explained the science behind TMS and Spravato and why doing both helps open dormant pathways that were shut down from trauma. It was like my mind was opened and wasn't too overwhelmed so I could get myself out of a toxic mindset that kept me in constant debilitating anxiety and depression. The TMS staff were very approachable and friendly. The front office and BHTs were understanding, compassionate, and caring. I am forever grateful for the help they provided me.

The workers and Techs were great, Food was great and workers were so funny and great to be around they gave me a bible and helped me learn how to cope I do recommend this place, and I don’t know why there is so many bad reviews but that’s just because those people didn’t accept the help and thought the technicians were out to get them I am a former patient and had a fun time here. Also I colored a lot! they have the best activities.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. When I first started with OH, it was like a dream come true. The family atmosphere and care for client/family were unparalleled. However, over time, after so many leadership changes and policy changes this place has lost its way. The heart is missing as they’ve transformed into a place that is solely about the money and not client care. Leadership is out of touch and does not handle staff feedback well. Leading to an overall negative workplace environment where the staff are afraid to express themselves. During an all staff, the CEO when speaking about staff opinions informed the staff to “save the drama for your mommas”. This had a deeply negative effect on staff as they felt unseen and unheard. Another example of negative working experience was that the caseloads were too big to be clinically effective. When I expressed my concerns to leadership I was informed that “all staff caseloads are going up” and that “this is what the company needs to do for now”. As a result we saw our kids less and the communities we swore to uplift suffered.

Hello to whoever reads this review I would like to just say stay away from this whole place? I'm not sure who is giving this place five stars but it's absolutely not a five star place to be the workers are the very passive and aggressive people 😞 their deminor is very cold and if you have bad anxiety I would recommend not coming to this place it's unfortunately another one of those Arizona behavioral health places who literally sold out if you've been in the behavioral health system in Arizona for as long as I have you would understand what I mean when I say they sold out? So please if you want a good place to get help from I personally can recommend a place where the atmosphere is very loveing and caring if that's something you the reader is interested in feel free to leave me a reply and I'll would be more than willing to rely that information. I would hope you the reader of this review would trust my judgement I've done a few dozens of reviews on different types of places I've visited in my surrounding area and just places that I've visited and I know best I've gotten a few five star replies back to my reviews I've made to the point I couldn't keep up with my replies. So as I said I know the behavioral health system in Arizona pretty well because I've participated in being a peer support specialist and I just know what's best and the best thing to do for yourself and your vurnebel loved one is estray from this whole Recovia behavioral health or program stay away please for the sake of your self and sick loved one there is better help out there unfortunately they are hidden and you have to keep trying to find what's right for yourself and your loved ones and I could help 💓 stay safe and please make the right decision and do not come here if you have any questions please feel free to contact me through this review and I will reply stay safe and have a great day or night thanks and good bye

You can't imagine how unlike any other program in AZ this place is. This place changed my life they use a TON of practices that are backed with scientific evidence. I'll just keep it simple. I've been to numerous facilities in the past decade. While I picked up something from all of them, this place is the one that changed my life. I think at the end of the day it's because you know that they REALLY care about all of their clients individually. Therapists are top notch too. If you're going to this unique & hope filled place, make sure you're ready to change your life because the staff at this facility put their heart and soul into everything they do at work, and you will be challenged to change for the better. 👌🏾💯

My son has been a patient of Nurse Practitioner Nina Ling for nearly a year, and unfortunately, our experience has been very disappointing. One of the most concerning moments occurred when my son, who was 9 years old at the time, expressed suicidal thoughts. As a parent, I was terrified and looking for guidance, support, and resources. During our appointment, I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. There was little discussion about what may have led to those feelings, no resources were offered, and I left the appointment feeling unsupported and alone in navigating a very serious situation. My son's mental health deteriorated to the point that he required inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. While many psychiatric hospitalizations last only a few days, my son remained hospitalized for 16 days due to the severity of his symptoms. During that time, a team of physicians carefully evaluated him and adjusted his medications until they found a treatment plan that was working. At our follow-up appointment after discharge, I was told there were no concerns with keeping his medications the same. However, when I picked up the prescriptions, I discovered that two medications had been changed without any discussion or explanation. As a parent, I believe medication changes—especially following a lengthy psychiatric hospitalization—should be clearly communicated and discussed. I made multiple attempts to speak with Nina regarding these changes and my concerns. Each time, I was told that she was booked and that a message would be passed along. I never received the opportunity to have the discussion I felt was necessary regarding my son's care unless another appointment was scheduled. Additionally, I often felt that both my son and I were interrupted during appointments and not given adequate opportunity to fully express our concerns. Every family's experience is different, but as a parent of a child with significant mental health needs, I expected more communication, collaboration, and support during some of the most difficult moments our family has faced.

The help that she gave us from the beginning to end, made our house buying experience with her extremely exceptional. Communication from the beginning to end, we knew everything happening from step-by-step. If you’re looking to buy used or a new home look no further for your real estate agent

Best place I have ever been to work on my mental health. My provider is Melissa Leuzzi and she has given me options that I never thought about. She shows she really cares by keeping me on trac. The staff is so fun to talk to and inviting. Quinn is amazing and really cares. Alex always remembers patients names. I noticed the difference right away with the TMS treatments. I am a different person for the best.

Their POND program is fraudulent. Dont use it unless you want to be signed to a lease in a roach infested apartment because they don’t want to actually help and just want to put you in apartments where they can get a bang for their buck. This is a review of an apartment they wanted me to move into but I refused and was denied every CLEAN home I seen and was. Recommended Ellis Midtown(disgusting). Wasted money, time, and gas trying to find something to satisfy them for 90+ days. Just to get nothing. These people do not want to help you (POND applicants) they want to meet a quota and think because you’re homeless you should be okay with living in filth. It’s disgusting and dehumanizing and they need to stop running this program if their only solution is to put you in filthy apartments and “bug bomb” it.

Absolutely mind blowing 🤯 I was a client about 4 1/2 to 5 years ago. And I’m just moving back to the Flagstaff region. I had to call this office to get transferred to administration because it’s the main office but sadly, despite being required to be able to answer these questions by law not a single person could tell me whether or not my insurance would cover it and what I had to do to be able to get into the program again! I had a few problems with this program before the last time I was on it but nothing like this. How could your own administration first off, not know how to get you to a billing person who can answer an Insurance question or whether or not an insurance plan would cover it.🤯

My experience at this mental hospital was mixed. I want to start by acknowledging Maria, Dina, and Marylou, who were absolutely amazing. They attended to our needs with kindness and compassion and did the best they could with what they had. I truly appreciate their effort and heart — they’re the reason I’m giving this place 2 stars instead of 0. Pros: • The staff members I mentioned (Maria, Dina, and Marylou) were wonderful. • Mary was also great and always tried to help whenever she could. • The food wasn’t great during my stay, but I believe the kitchen is working again, which is good news. Cons: • There was no outside time at all. Some patients, including one who had been there for four months, hadn’t been outside once. • While you could see outside, you couldn’t go out or even hear the outside world — which becomes mentally draining over time. • The hygiene and well-being of some patients were concerning and could use more attention. • Most of the group sessions weren’t very helpful, except one run by a newer staff member (it was her third week when I arrived on September 25th). Overall, I’m thankful for the kindness of the staff members mentioned, but the facility itself needs serious improvement — especially regarding patient care, hygiene, and access to fresh air or outdoor time.

I was arrested by a cop who groped himself on my behind for being on the interstate and he told me because I was homeless he had to take me to CBI/CPI. I also told me that I would only be staying there for night. Being a visitor to Arizona, I didn’t know what that was. The officer even told me that he was only taking me there because I was homeless. While I was here I was evaluated by a short Asian doctor Who insisted on putting words in my mouth and writing a false story and evaluation to make me look like I was crazy. To be exact, I told her that I had a close connection with God and I spoke to God every day. She writes on my statement that I said that I speak to spirits, Basically trying to use spirituality against me. When I quickly realized that Valleywise offered spiritual services. (In which the spiritual teacher there trying to speak to me, inviting me to her classes..) These doctors should have to record their conversations with their patients. Anyhow I started to speak about what that officer really did to me and that’s when they told me I couldn’t leave. They had to ask the same officer that already lied to me Was it OK for me to leave and of course I had to stay there even longer being forced to take medication’s that I don’t need. And that is when I was transported to St. Luke’s, where they did the same thing. Apparently, these doctors and nurses feel that it Is OK to lie about peoples health and steal their time. What goes around comes around!
