*voluntary admission with insurance treatment
This place is absolutely a joke ! Tried to take my daughter for assistance and got turned away and we wonder why things are happening to our children when parents are truly trying to get help for our kids you PEOPLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!!! Truly ashamed may God have mercy on everyone of you . Shameful

The nurses and the staff up front are great, and treated you kindly, can't say about the doctor. She wasn't friendly from the start. She wasn't much help either. She even asked me "how do you get (the diseases that I have) ?" I had explained I'm not sure and all the symptoms I had. I was a bit uncomfortable about that she asked a patient how it was received. She made me feeling like my health wasn't a priority 😕 I told her my history and how I had seen other doctors before and that I have no insurance and that my sickness keeps me from keeping a job. She told me to go see him and I had explained again I hade no ride and no money, she walked out with a "thats your decision." I understand it can be frustrating at times but some of us actually can't help our situation, and I figured at a low income clinic, she'd understand. I don't think I recommend anyone who has anxiety there, it was hard for me to even talk to them, the experience above made it even more difficult..

I'd give a zero for Van Dieman if I could and especially for Scribner, because my mother committed suicide under her care. All she wanted was freedom from anxiety and she would not allow it. Van Dieman on the other hand dropped me with no reason why straight out of rehab and she suddenly didn't want to Rx me buprinorphen anymore. These doctors here have zero interest in helping people in distress. If you step outside their little prison that they most assuredly will set you in OVER THC, you WILL be dropped at your most desperate moment. Not one human works here except for LeeAnn Fleming, but even then the tyrant Scribner has the last words. Just remember only Scribner nmknows what works for y

My son has been to this facility for a few years now. He's never met the doctor that prescribes meds - only via video. The last couple of times he's told me about include him telling the video doc that he didn't want to take a certain med anymore. He said she was looking down like she was concentrating on something else while he was talking to her. The nurse in the room with him finally had to tell the video doc that he didn't want to take that med any longer, for her to listen. Last time, video doc was eating corn on the cob during the video appt. I understand this service can be free to patients who don't have insurance, but why insult them with a video doc who obviously doesn't care about them or their needs? Makes you wonder if the proper assessment is being done and proper meds are being given.

Location clean but communication with doctors and case workers horrible. Can never get any help with any questions I have. I call the social worker and tells me to call doctor and I call the doctor tells me to call the social worker. No one wants and cares to help. You have literally beg them. So frustrating and stressful dealing with this lack of communication when you’re already dealing with trying to help your loved one.
Didn’t even make it in the door. Made an appointment at the end of October for my child to receive mental health counseling. I filled out all the paper work and turned it i the same day as making the appointment so the office knew what the appointment was for. Called to confirm the appointment for next week and was told that there is 0 availability for therapy. So then why should I even have my child come to this intake appointment, miss their exam, if you cannot have my child use the services needed.
This company charged me $3500 for a 15 Zoom call. What a ripoff. The Crosley law firm sent me here. This company works with crooked attorneys. They will not treat you fairly, no one ever followed up with me. They just took my money. I will upload proof soon.

My young adult Son been in the ER since the 9th and the doctor called in some medicine for his flu I took it back to joe pharmacy I didn't know they didn't take refunds So I will be changing pharmacy's.
The fact that they cancel your appointments or just don't call for over the phone appointments is ridiculous. Been out of medications from a previous doctor for 2 months, and Bluebonnet just keeps making me wait to even speak to anyone. I can only imagine the amount of people that are no longer here due to the inadequacy of this "clinic".

I wish I could say our experience at UBH was positive, but unfortunately, it was anything but. As a parent, I put my trust in this facility to provide proper care for my child, but what happened instead was shocking and deeply disappointing.

If you forget to check in, they will just let you sit there and act like they don't know who you are or remind you to check in. Then, over an hour later, cancel your appointment and be rude to you on top of that. Case manager Nakeisha does not manage anything well...her client's sensitive needs, nor her bad and ghetto attitude. Would not recommend

I am a patient at Denton MHMR and while I was waiting in the lobby, I overheard a nurse talking politics with someone and introduced themself as Marissa or Melissa. The words I overheard were “let all these foreigners…” and while I did not hear the entire conversation, hearing those words made me uncomfortable. I believe it is truly unprofessional to be discussing politics in the workplace and considering that the people that work there must follow HIPPA regulations. I ask that someone please talk the nurse about it and let her know that this is not okay.

I went here for interim care last month and I debated on saying something here but I need to do so because it’s still unsettling. The reviews are correct. There’s a Nigerian nurse that works here that should not. Seeing the other reviews made me realize it wasn’t me overthinking it! She had to interview me before seeing the doctor and she literally was judging me as I was answering the questions. Her demeanor and faces she made were totally unacceptable for someone in this kind of profession. A little later, when I was in the waiting room, she snickered and laughed at me as she walked back to her office. Idk if she just didn’t believe the symptoms I said I was experiencing or not but her behavior was completely out of line. She needs to be fired immediately. We already go through a lot with our mental illnesses. No one needs to deal with this kind of foolishness while at their lowest. So ridiculous.
Don’t send anyone here! They’re literally scamming you for your insurance money. They gave us a freaking sandwich for dinner one night and a single taco another night. They don’t care about the people who are there for treatment. They have a “schedule” posted on the wall for “therapy” but they don’t do it. If you have insurance they keep you for minimum 10days if you don’t have insurance they keep you 3days. You can’t just leave even if your voluntarily go. They don’t let you go outside, food is garbage, there’s only a tv that’s shared with a few channels and you can’t make phone calls when you want. They also make you take medication that raises your blood pressure and tell you that “if you want to get out of here then you have to take the medication we think you need!” This is the most ineffective treatment facility I’ve ever been to. I was in the 400. IDO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

Scam. Even with good insurance they expected me to pay $2304 for one of their programs. My insurance was going to pay 80/20 and it was still that much. Absolutely appalling and ridiculous. Thanks for wasting my time that I could've seen someone affordable and get a real psychiatrist who wasn't trying to take advantage of my desperate need for help.
I only give one star and that's due to them just answering the PHONE!!! A family member has been dealing with MHMR for about 4 years, today we spoke with the program director Kristi or however you spell her name. She was very unprofessional and was rude, clearly needs to be evaluated herself. My family member was given the run around, misinformation was given and there was no empathy at all towards my family member. Good luck trying to get help from this mental facility! They are not compassionate at all and always give us the run around. This program director literally blew my family member off. I want her to be held accountable for all the misinformation that was given today, I honestly feel horrible for all you other people out there who have to deal with this person and this horrible system. My family member shouldn't feel this way after a visit from MCOTT! Kristi you should be ashamed of yourself, you should not be in that position that others are more than qualified to be in. DO BETTER MHMR
never been here but cant even get a hold of them and I will say one thing though about this place, LOCATION! the cops in BALCONES HEIGHTS quite literally harass and SIT at mental health clinics, including the methadone clinic, acting as their just talking. They don't, they run plates and pull you over. Them not answering and the location alone, I'm good. Guaranteed to get pulled over or get a red light cam flash as they are so off and you cant NOT get a ticket driving through there. sad.
