Find Mental Health Providers Across Tennessee

I have had several problems with appointment changes without notice.

One of the worst experiences of my life has been dealing with everyone associated with this hospital. It is already hard in making the decision to admit your child but there is a reason this hospital is rated so low. I wasn't going to leave a review but after finding out my last bill was sent to collections after just receiving it two days ago needless to say I am a little upset. Every bill has been paid. Even when they put an emergency contact as the recipient of those bills and I called to update that mistake .By the way I am pretty sure that is a HIPPA violation. My daughter's belongings were given to another child. She had no shoes when I picked her up. My daughter was threatened by other girls and did not feel safe. The medications they gave her only made things worse. Her anxiety was worse while being in this facility. I know when things get bad and your child recognizes that they are not safe from themselves and a safe place is needed to handle this. Just do not let this be the place you choose. Keep going down the list in your search. Believe me I wish I had

BEFORE CHOOSING BQ PLEASE READ

I was not extremely impressed in the initial appointment, but wanted to try a couple more sessions to see. Told us wrong appointment time for next appointment , so we arrived early for the time we were told; however, 7 minutes late for the time they said it was supposed to be. We were told this would be a 45min to 1 hour session, so ok we miss 7 minutes, right? Nope, we’re told you need to reschedule your therapist is already with another client. I feel like appointments were probably double booked, or the therapist just was not there (did not answer when receptionist tried calling him from the desk). I wanted to give this place a chance, but they really just don’t seem to have it together.

Cheer mental health put my juvenile daughter on resperdone and it stopped her growing, and being able to have children in the future, I highly recommend everyone to please check out everything involving Cheer mental health before deciding to use their facility for treatment, please use generations instead of Cheer mental health

I was denied mental health services or help by them and Cherokee health, so I guess if you’re struggling just get over it lol 😆 what a joke! How are you able to turn people away who need mental health services? We’re doomed entirely as a country and watch as mental health crisis just worsens

Been treated there for three years. After the "care" I received there the last month, I am actually worse than before. Do not waste your time, money or, efforts here. They will mislead you and pretend to help, when all they see is a dollar sign when you walk through that door. My life is now worse because of their idea of treatment, and all I received was a "sorry".

Heather was very friendly and helpful. However, she recommended Monica Davis to counsel my son. She has done nothing but make the situation worse. I have since tried contacting Heather about the things Monica is putting in my son's head without even a call back.

Had a great experience there. I had a hard time adjusting but Maddy, Gary, Ashley,genie , Aaron etc. Really helped me through everything. They even have an attorney destiny who can help alot to. 3 meals a day, they will pick you up, they have snack's, & more! Yes you can smoke in various breaks throughout the day. I wish I could've stayed longer than 3 days.

I understand Carey has gone through a LOT of changes over the years, and Certainly for the better! I've struggled with mental health since childhood, no amount of medications seemed to work. Suddenly, after 13 YEARS of different hospitals, different doctors and therapists, Carey Counseling was able to help with Proper diagnosis and treatment. The staff are super understanding, they work with you on pricing through SafetyNet services, the case work system can even help you find relief on housing and utilities if needed. They have different programs from AA to parenting classes, they're just great all around! Thank you Carey Counseling, for everything!

My daughter went there through court. She has called me every other day like she's supposed to. She has been very sick for the last 2 weeks. They will not take her to the hospital or to urgent care to see what's going on with her. I afraid it's serious and they don't want to listen to her. She said they gave her an antibiotic to take but only started today. This is ridiculous. Yes the people that come up there might have made bad decisions but that doesn't mean their not human. If you're sick you go to doctor, we'll same goes with them there. I will be following up when she gets out in a couple of days with a doctor and if it's anything serious, I will be in touch with someone.

Half of the staff cares half of the staff doesn’t. I had an over the phone appointment at 12 PM EST and I have been waiting all day to get a prescription filled at a pharmacy. I have a viral bodily infection and the doctors here seem to just take their sweet time. The communication or lack there of between the patient and doctor is super astoundingly unprofessional. I WILL be switching health care providers IMMEDIATELY.

I always ask before leaving what do I owe you. Today I drove 30 minutes to pay a 43.00 dollar. Then find out it's 130. Dollar bill due to doing counseling over the phone. They charge 11 dollars for that which I was never told about this was several months but I had appointments there with them. They never once said I owed them. I always ask so charges won't add up. But these charges was never brought up. I told them for 130 dollars I would just talk to myself. I paid what I owed then told them I would go somewhere else that would be honest when I ask what I owe. I wouldn't recommend anyone going here.

If I could give 0 stars I would.. been on the waiting list for months and was conned into doing mental health here instead of secure based where I was going because it would "help get me a caseworker" I got my rule 79 done but had been at the "top of the waiting list" since at least early December and the wait for the top of the list was another 3 to 6 months and I did not need to be seen by a Scott county mental health provider to receive case management. I would have been better off staying with my previous provider. Not to mention getting anyone on the phone has been its own nightmare. Scott county as a whole needs help. Doesn't matter what department they are apart of if it's Scott county I can guarantee there's rarely anyone in the offices from probation officers to the mental health your just a name on a paper waiting for someone to do something with you

I called and they said M-F, 8-10am. Come anytime. I get there at 9am. "Sorry we are full. We tell everyone to come early because we only have a limited number of openings."

I've had nothing but good experience with these people Andrew is amazing at listening and checking on you if he hasn't heard from you or if there's something going on he doesn't hesitate to let you know or check on you and just let you know that they're there for you. Carolyn is understanding but a bit stricter I believe she kind of can come off intimidating but she means well and she does care. And all the people at the front at the reception desk have always been so good working with me about getting appointments and those kind of things. I would say to the people that are giving bad reviews maybe you should give it another chance or maybe go somewhere else trying to find drugs because they're not going to give drugs that's not what they're for they're there to give you treatment and to help you and I'm not trying to offend anybody I'm just saying that this place is good for what it is and it has helped me and my son.
