I was in a crisis and I emailed them on March 25 2025 to get in contact with someone to talk to. Next day got an email to to fill out paperwork which I did and it's now April 3 2025 and never got a call back to make an appointment. Not worth it. Thanks for proving my point it's about money not about client care.

Incredible organization with great teams of staff that cover every county throughout Rhode Island. Strength based counseling focuses on helping families make a plan with goals of how they want to move forward to get healthy and whole.

They make everything supper easy and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and trustworthy. Awesome service as well I recommend highly also there is never a line or a bunch of people. I walk in they give me a little cup for urine analysis then right to the window to pick up my Suboxone prescription

I was a client if FCCP. At first they were very helpful, I was renting airbnbs and working fulltime. They help ease the financial burden and allowed me to provide for my daughter and apartment search. While I was in this crisis I received two raises and a promotion, my daughter was safe which is all I wanted. In May 2024 my family got approved for a beautiful apartment and we got out hopes up that fccp would help us, so much so we put $500 dollars down on this apartment. My caseworker acted like she had nothing to do with moving. She missed meetings for a month despite them being a mandatory part of the program and left us to scramble for the first and security. The time we reserved with our $500 was up and we lost that money. I attempted to make a complaint about a bad employee who caused us to lose an apartment due to negligence and was not informed on how to make a proper complaint, despite the intake package I received said when asked fccp will provide the number to make a report and if I was still not satisfied that they would provide the number of a state agency. The supervisors that I attempted to report this situation to were rude and treated me in an undignified way. This program boost that they treat you with respect and dignity but I have felt none of those things. They have done little to rectify the situation and have no intent on doing so as they have discharged us from the program. My rights have been violated and they violated their own contract, nothing is being done about it. My daughter is still at risk and they turn a blind eye. I would recommend seeking help elsewhere, don't make the same mistake I made. Fccp ruined my life and that of my daughter. They wasted 7 months of hardwork. And they abandoned us during this crisis. Not to mention I was injured at the place they put us and have a fat scar above my eye. All I got out of this situation is a loss of $500 and a scar! Great.
"Good & Safe Place For All!"

The staff there help me dig deep into my behaviors and trauma. I have much tools now after completing. Helped me save my life. Thanks guys.

Very disappointed with the front desk staff in the North Providence office. It's probably faster to mail them a letter to reschedule an appointment. When I call them, they immediately put me on hold without giving me a chance to say anything. I'm calling them during my break so time is limited. I've also left voicemails and no one returns my calls.

Went to the Emergency Room as a walk-in and was seen right away. The person who gave me an IV was really good about it, my nurses were nice, and the doctor explained everything clearly. The people who did my CT scan were really good, too. I had to call back to have my prescription transferred because CVS is unhelpful, and they transferred it quickly and were nice about it. I’m thankful for the staff here for being kind and genuinely caring.

The facility overall was excellent. While there are a lot of unnecessary rules — many of which even staff don’t consistently enforce, often for good reason — the experience was still overwhelmingly positive. The exceptions were the two or three “storm-trooper” staff members who seemed more focused on rigid enforcement than on helping patients. The kitchen staff, however, were absolute standouts. The food was consistently on point, and the team ran things like true professionals. Reagan, Kevin, Marvin, Shannon, Jay, and either Ralph or Phil were cool as ice. These guys should be running the place. They were strict, but always fair. If any of them were giving you a hard time, you probably earned it. I want to give special recognition to Reagan and Kevin — genuinely two of the most authentic, sincere people I’ve ever met. I read a review saying the staff in recovery didn’t know how to handle addicts, and I STRONGLY disagree. In my experience, the staff members who were in recovery went above and beyond for patients multiple times, even in situations where they risked being reprimanded for helping. My only real complaint is consistency. Either dial back some of the rules, or have the “storm-trooper” staff follow the lead of the standout team members above — because those guys truly embody what this place should be about. I also want to shout out Jay one more time. He helped me out in a major way and he really didn’t have. All you guys. Keep doing what you do!
Laura has been an excellent psych doctor. We work well together she asks, pertinent questions and listens to all my answers. We talk about the medication‘s and what’s good for me and what I feel is good for me as well, but she always takes into account obviously what she feels is right. The staff and receptionist are excellent and very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this practice.
If I could say zero stars I would. This place is the exact opposite of helping addicts with getting the help they need. I was talked down to the whole time I was there, as if the counselors thought they were better than me. Not to mention I was lied too and basically felt as if I wasn’t a patient but more of a prisoner. All they do is lie to you and don’t actually offer or provide any information or help they get you into a facility that will help you with your mental illnesses
Conveniently located. Office looked neat and clean, viewing pictures posted online. I booked an appointment. Starting 3 days before my appointment, I began receiving multiple phone calls about completing my new patient paperwork. Understandable, they want the paperwork before the appointment to ensure a full service. I get started on the paperwork the day before my appointment. while I was filling them out, the documents all of a sudden disappeared and I get an appointment cancellation email. I was then notified something came up for the provider and I couldn't be seen until 3 weeks out. This was the office's first impression on a new patient. I understand life gets in the way and cancellations are necessary. It just wasn't the best first impression. Especially because I needed an evaluation for a specific reason, by a certain time. Being the holiday season, it made rescheduling a bit impossible to meet my deadline.

Always only one window open, long lines that do not move.
