Find Mental Health Providers Across Pennsylvania

Unprofessional and inappropriate family based services is an understatement of the day. I work in mental health and I have never seen anything as bad as this. Two untrained individuals attempting to host "family fight club" in my home... Lets learn how to do no harm before we attempt to "help". Switched to a different company and had a wonderful experience. Only regret is I permitted Every Child visit at my home as long as they did. Thank you for helping me learn to be a better mental health advocate for my family by learning to set limits on people like you.

My 10 year old son was referred to this agency when school let out. My son and his father met the counselor once. she never spoke to me, never contacted me until The next week when my son is court ordered to come for visitation. I drove an hour to sit and wait for them to show and thats when she finally calls to say that she doesn't think my son should be forced to come visit me. it's court ordered. So now we have a problem child whose challenging behavior is being encouraged by the counselor. Great job Val... You deserve to be fired.

If there an option for no stars I would choose that! Call for help, emotions are high and out of sync. I get someone who answers the phone that does not take that much to listen before she jumps in and says have you ever heard of grounding, do you want to try that???? I hang up phone she calls back, I was going to do it with you, no not interested. She then proceeds to raise her voice and have an attitude with me!!!! Seriously, if that does not exacerbate how I am already feeling and what I am dealing with. Not worth picking up the phone for help....

I am very disappointed with community service group. They are not complimentary to those who work full time. There are no late evenings hours. This needs to be more effective when it come down to addressing the needs of the community.

One of the best experiences I’ve had with a psychiatrist. I was extremely anxious talking about the past and my mental health. I was made to feel safe, given compassion and comfort. I never had an experience like this when addressing my mental health concerns.

Since joining, I’ve seen so much improvement in the way the staff 🥰that I interact with has handled serious issues concerning their clientele. They are not just about being paid! 😉

Terrible service. I was told someone would call me back and of course that didn't happen. I followed up the next day and gave all the info they requested and again they said someone would call back, but of course they didn't. Now they no longer answer the phone. I am beyond pissed. I should have known this was not a good place as they are the only facility in the area with quick availability. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.

My experience with the entire commonwealth clinical group is extremely frustrating. I would NOT recommend them to anybody. Unfortunately I'm stuck with my daughter on another waiting list for psychiatry. However EVERY single time we have a appointment, there are issues. We had a appointment scheduled for a month. When I called to verify the time for that day, they said they didn't have her in the schedule. When i spoke to the counselor, she said she had to cancel it and hadn't had a chance to call me (occurred 2hrs prior to apt). Was also told by receptionist she had another apt scheduled during what should have been My daughter's apt. My daughter is on several medications, one day left for one medication. They switched the medication and our pharmacy doesn't carry it nor does our insurance cover it. Can I reach anyone.... No. My daughter had a appointment over telehealth for counseling. She sat online for 20 minutes and then came and told me the lady never logged on. I called in wanting to know why. They couldn't even find the therapist! We had another teleheath appointment with psychiatry. Both her and I sat on there waiting. 5 min after i called in and asked where the doctor was. I was told he logged on and we weren't there so he moved to his next apt. That wasn't true. Now we record waiting until someone gets on incase we need proof. Same issue of my daughters medication needing refilled but we had to wait for next apt. Due to him not logging on. These are some of the things that have happened. I was extremely greatful when we had found them because of how fast they got my daughter in. However, it did not take long to see why there was availability. I'm very angry due to the type of medication my kid is on and the fact they aren't making our child's needs a priority. As a mother, I would not seek help here especially how dangerous it can be not being able to get certain medications filled and your child having to stop because your doctor doesn't have the time to correct the issue. It can be dangerous I might add. Especially with how long that child has been taking it. One other issue. My daughter's counseling apt was moved from 1hr to 30 min. No consulting with the parent. We are seeking counseling elsewhere and I am extremely happy with them. They are meeting her needs.

Terrible experience with people on the phone, tried to give one of the patients here my phone number. Said the only way was to send a letter. They were extremely rude delivering this information to me. No sympathy given by anyone spoken to.

The on call workers only call you back if they feel like it. I waited over an hour and nobody called me back. I called again and Joe Taroli refused to call me unless it was a "emergency." Then if it is an emergency, they tell you to call the police. I found out from the supervisor, that it doesn't have to be an emergency. I was lied to. Joe just didn't feel like calling. His job is to be on call. He is not doing his job.

I had called ahead before I checked in to make sure I was going to be able to take certain prescriptions of mine. I was told I was able to but in the 4th day there they immediately discharged me. I had no warning or anything before they had my discharge papers to sign. Also the rooms all have bed bugs which they knew about but didn’t say anything to me until I was all Bit up and actually caught one to prove it to them. I need help in life and all this place did was set me back another week and I’m back in the same spot now trying to find help again. I can’t explain how frustrating this was and I would never recommend anyone go there for help.

If I could give them less than one star I would.

Besides having terrible therapy. Psychiatrist Seneca Booty, gives the wrong medication knowing full well the side effects. For example, giving one of her patients the same medicine that didnt work before, her reasoning was that it was a different dosage which wouldnt cause the same issues. Only a few days later said patient blew blood vessels in the face, no sleep, constant crying and throwing up. Incompetent and that psychiatrist needs fired immediately.

Extremely Disappointing and Frustrating Experience.

Jerked me around for 2 weeks to see doc. Finall here at appt and waiting an hr so far....need to leave in an hr to take kids to school and an office woman says I have to reschedule if I can't stay so 3 weeks I'll be waiting even though I was here early for my appointment......these people DO NOT CARE about patients at all

I went there last year because I was having suicidal thoughts and the place didn't help much the staff was allowed to swear at you and the food was always cold and they would give us warm water to drink

We are the Grandparents of our Granddaughter, we lost our son her father 5 years ago. We have both legal and Physical custody of her, with that being said she started with Depression from loosing her father, We found Transitions Adolescent care and got her involved with their Program she was in 8th grade. She was doing okay for about 2 years then her Depression set in again, We contacted them again to get back in the Program because we felt it help her so much and they would not let her back in, they are claiming she signed herself out. We just thought the Program ended!! We went into talk to Ken the person in charge and they said he was no longer there but the woman at the desk said the person in charge now would call me the next day, his name I believe is AJ and never called!! Here we have a child that lost her father and suffers from Depression and because they said she signed herself out which we do not believe will not let her back in!!! It’s beyond Criminal!! She really liked the program and it did help her!!

Honestly this place is an absolute mess! They scheduled us for an initial appointment with a therapist then the therapist calls us to reschedule it when we show up for the appointment there’s no appointment in the book! After waiting for a call back from the therapist and no callback two days later I call and they tell me that therapist is no longer with them!!! So then I’m sent to scheduling again and the scheduling people tell me there’s nothing within 30 days at that office and they cannot see the schedules past 30 days so keep calling back so ridiculous. They are an absolute mess. Their scheduling is an absolute mess and it is a waste of your time don’t go here.
