The employees at 5100 Peach St are always in a bad mood. They don’t hide it at all. One of them even insulted the college they share a building with and that school is amazing. I’ll never recommend Family Services of NWPA.

I would like to thank everyone in the ICU. I went in Sunday 3/16/25. I went to the ER with chest pain radiating into my back. After several test it was concluded I had a pulmonary embolism. I was in the ICU for 4 days. The team there was absolutely spectacular! The6 talked me through everything to make sure I had a clear understanding. Due to the fact that I was in the ICU my son was not allowed in but they pulled some strings so I could visit with him in the waiting room. Without them I would not be here today.

I am very unhappy with the way this facility is ran. We have been through 3 intake appointments, counseling services, med management, and Autism testing. All of which did not serve us well. Counseling was just play time for my son. Testing was not properly done (only 1 session of 3.5hrs with medications) and finalized after almost 5 months later with signs of spectrum but diagnosed finalized with zero. Multiple different medications that work for a couple months but end up not helping after getting adjusted to them. I was expecting some guidance from this place instead of not knowing what each program does. Where are the doctors that work with children before prescribing medications? Doctor saw my child for 5-10min in each session once a month and tells me my child looks calm and content to him. (Of coarse, because you didn’t spend enough time with him to see it) They have too much staff doing different things at this facility with no one getting to actually work with your child long enough to know them. People cannot get time off of work or school to be at your facility to see 3 different people at a time to come up with helpful solutions for your child.

My child attended Wesley for therapy, everything started out great, he enjoyed his therapist, Megan. Then things quickly changed when she was continuously called off. Therapy wasn't beneficial if he wasn't getting the appropriate appointments. I tried to be understanding and then it just became ridiculous. I then started to complain and nothing changed, I then had to switch providers. He was then switched to Lauren, even worse! Months without contact. I called and emailed and zero response ! Extremely unprofessional. Jackie, a supervisor, then called back months later to see what was going on. She waited months ! Absolute neglect on their part. I received a letter in the mail that they are unable to get ahold of me, my number nor email hasn't changed. Would it recommend these people to no one! Unprofessional, neglectful, zero compassion.!

I’ve been in a treatment program with Crossroads since mid April of this year. Today is my last appointment as I have now finished treatment. Today also marks 3 years, 1 month and 21 days since my last drink or drug. I highly recommend this center to all who seek help, are ordered to receive help and anyone seeking an opioid maintenance program.

Dr. Brown is a horrible psychiatrist who doesn't spend any time with her patients. Crossroads bills insurance companies for services they did not provide. If I could give zero stars I would. This company will not help your mental health, they'll make it worse. Update: My counselor Zara was awesome. The 1 star is for how great she was.

Years of competent compassionate care. Robin, on the front desk, is always unflappable, efficient and courteous. The nurse, Kay, manages to do my vitals check quickly and carefully. (The coffee situation could use some improvement) But otherwise, attending this facility has brought positive changes to my life.

After telling me I had to leave not because of any reason that was my doing but because of a terrible therapist that didn't help me , Jen King who is a supervisor , says they will not leave me without a new psychiatrist and they would not leave me hanging. Well this is exactly what she and Jevs did. I would not recommend Jevs because of the above reasons. TERRIBLE.

I walked into this building originally 30ish years ago.. so imagine my surprise when not only a psychiatrist (my old one still works here) but also the intake coordinator, remembered me.. amazing (new) first impression. I have a hard time trusting people in these type of establishments, and dont feel comfortable usually for awhile.. today, is the first time in a long time that I felt completely at ease in a mental health institution, and I believe it is the first time, ever, that I didnt feel nervous for a first therapy appointment, (havent even seen the therapist yet) thanks for this, I was (as I always am) nervous about starting new with a provider, and am now waiting to see a new therapist and couldnt be more grateful for this experience.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I attended this place as a child and a couple people in my family did and all they did was dismiss our generational trauma from substance and sexual abuse/ abandonment and make clients feel isolated from their own autonomy and care. I became a behavioral therapist myself in New York and this place is THE SADDEST EXCUSE for intervention you could possibly go. You deserve better.

i went here in 2023 and let me tell you, it works if you work it. the residents were the most difficult thing for me to have to deal with, and only because they were people who acted just like me. even in that, i met one person i am still friends with today. the staff and i got along fine and i used every resource of theirs that i possibly could. i ended up moving into the recovery house across the street after working a few months. overall i love this place and recommend it but you’d better get eyes on the prize and ignore external distractions. it’s easy to get frustrated or sidetracked over trivial things but so long as you remember the goal is to remain sober and move up, you’ll do fine.

I was originally with Kreinbrook and I have had infinitely better experiences with them compared to Forge Health. No one on the Forge Health staff has been kind to me or respectful of my mental illnesses. Toni Steele in particular is absolutely terrible. All of my appointments with her either happened over 15 minutes late with no notice or were canceled without reason, and when I DID get to have an appointment with her I was belittled for my mental health struggles. I have had to go through hoops MANY times just to get refills of my medications, though I have been prescribed two separate antidepressants from her that have put me in extreme pain. I do not recommend Forge Health and I especially do not recommend Toni Steele. Terrible office, terrible people, and terrible treatment.

There HAS to be reform and I will do EVERYTHING possible so not one other person or family suffers due to your poor judgement and failed responsibility. Your agency was contacted about someone with a history of mental health, self harm and is disabled going through a hard time, suffering from loss, suicidal/ self harm thoughts and threats that just self harmed that YOU saw, YOU failed him by not allowing a court order for help that everyone in contact knew he so needed to prevent him from harming himself you failed Tioga County your duty as an agency is to protect those that can not protect themselves. You failed the only 2 people with the county he has that aren’t even related solely caseworkers but tried to fulfil their duty and responsibility with patience, compassion and most importantly heart! Through relentless efforts YOU REFUSED to help until he is on a stretcher fighting for his life. Shame on you, laws are in place and your agency failed to fulfill the 1 duty you have and a man and his family suffered today for someone that had made outcry’s seeked support since Monday 2 angels worked tirelessly to protect a stranger of them desperately needing help for one of those angels not getting the support from Concern the agency to provide the court order forced to try and render aid to him and save him. For what reason Concern what is your agency out? To provide the only service your company is MEMTAL HEALTH, lack of compassion, training, or capacity competency. I understand it’s not your brother, uncle, father. But this is a company focus the owners who couldn’t care less set, the “job” the crisis workers applied for. To the 4 workers that failed an amazing person, the family and a county shame on YOU!

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Pennsylvania?
When comparing providers in Pennsylvania, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Pennsylvania?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Pennsylvania?
Yes. Mental Health US includes Pennsylvania providers that offer mental health services, substance use treatment, or both. You can use the available filters to narrow results by treatment needs, or review individual facility pages for more detailed information about the services and conditions each provider treats.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Pennsylvania providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
