Find Mental Health Providers Across New York

Today while visiting a family member I witnessed the security Guard that's supposed to be watching out for the safety of the children sleeping while on the job. Must be nice to get paid and sleep at the same time. So who is really watching out for the safety of these children?

I love this place...so far... my therapist so far is AMAZINGGGG.... (shout out to John). Gabriel also was very kind and actually listened and did not tell me to imagine I was on a beach somewhere... KUDOS to that lol. The only issue I have is trying to get my medication resent. to another pharmacy and getting a hold of someone to tell them what the pharmacy needs was kind of frustrating, other than that!!! Will recommend :)

During intake they are very pleasant and the staff seem to really care. Of course there is always one bad apple, but that’s anywhere.

They are so corrupt!! Acs been paying them for confuse me ! And they saw all the abuse ACS and the Kings Family Court did to me and my children's and they never do anything to help us! Because ACS been paying them! See the corruption on New York city.

The absolute worst... never the same counselor and they only monitor they offer no actual mental health assistance...if you have a mental health crisis they offer no help and actually terminate your services while also cutting off your meds with no referrals... your on your own

This is not the place to go if you need any sort of attentive care. They do not answer their phones until the second or third time letting it ring all the way through and there is no voice mail to leave messages. The psychiatrist will tell you that you're wrong about your symptoms and the director will back him up. The staff is also not trained to deal with crises at all and will tell a client in mid panic attack to calm down or they will hang up. I was hung up on by the actual Director of Services for being panicky because the office has been delaying my treatment for over a week. As a mental health practitioner myself, I do not wish the treatment I got here on any future clients.

I was openly discriminated by an employee at FLCRA. A femail counselor (a Ms. Sanchez) openly told me she "hates men" and accused me of bigotry (despite the fact that I never once said anything derogatory towards anyone). I filed a complaint with the administration, Ms. Sanchez made these comments in front of another counselor (Darcy Corbutt). Ms.Cobutt heared Ms.Sanchez actually say that she "hates men." The admin has done nothing to assist me in correcting this matter. I'm a veteran and was told to go there by the VA. If you are a heterosexual white male, don't expect to be treated equally. Worse yet, the administration will do nothing to fix the offending person's discriminatory conduct. I have left dozens of messages with the "Quality Assurance" department and they refuse to return my calls or to give me any updates on the formal complaint I filed on or around April 5, 2026. I will be filling a complaint with the NY State Division of Human Rights and the NYS Department of Health. Because this organization cares nothing about equality and civility. Avoid this place if you are serious about healing.

The fact that I just got hung up on by Cassandra Peasley a casac who is in charge of managing newly sober women because she could not answer questions or give me my records without asking her boss Kelly Fahrenkopf, she is incompetent of doing her job and because I wanted my records because I needed them in a timely manner and couldn't wait until next week she hung up on me. She should not be giving advice to newly sober women if she couldn't answer a simple question about how to give me my records. Mind you I call back I got a hold of another worker there all I had to do was sign a new release and I got my my records emailed over to me within 15 minutes. Shout out to Oriana Fillmore for helping me get what I need without any attitude. If you ever go to Acca Women and Children's Program in Albany New York do not have Cassandra as your casac all she does is talk about herself her own life and other things that I will not disclose because that is mean. This agency doesn't even know what time a person should arrive in order to get an assessment done. Just another example of people not knowing how to do their jobs! Pathetic

I really am sick of this agency . Been dealing with them for 5 years now . I’ve had over 6 different case workers , they lie on court documents, they lie on PHR reports . They lie about everything they do not do . They don’t check on the kid like they are supposed too .The foster mother is just as horrible , I have virtual visits and she keeps blocking my number, I gotta call from numbers she doesn’t know . This is very frustrating. This agency is horrible . Please try your best dealing with them , keep your patience but stand your ground cuz they are the real criminals!

Complete waste of time.

I had a short stay in this clinic. I must say that out of all the places that I have stated this is probably the worst is specially the night staff the RN Marie in ML3 was very very very unprofessional. When it was time to leave, I was unable to get a cab home and I only met with the social worker one time throughout my day. I do not recommend this place to no one not even to their dying family member. Long-term care is the place your family do not place anybody do not come here. Do not recommend anybody here.

I tried three times!!! Went through a few prompts before waiting in que at 4 (15 minute wait) to have it ring one time and nobody answers and it goes to voice-mail. If their phone etiquette is any indication of their services then don't waste your time!

AVOID!! This is the absolute worst place to go for therapy. They are rude - reception will interrupt and talk over you when you are speaking. They are unreliable - they cancel appointments constantly, and I think its staffing issues - double bookings, and a very high staff turnover. Maybe this company needs to spend a larger share of their enormous "not for profit" profits less on upper management and more on hiring quality therapists and receptionists that can serve the communities that they are supposed to support.

Save yourself and your family unless you want to be drugged. Offering medication without even getting to know your patient - not even trying to see if that would be the right approach! immediately trying to prescribe a pill after a one hour consult. Who does that? Who in their right mind does that? Money hungry greedy people do that. Beware.

For all those who have negative experience as myself I plan on holding them accountable when giving my day in court to highlight staff unprofessional conduct the unsanitary conditions in other issues that affect clients mental and physical well-being unfortunately my case is slowed down because I added the office of ombudsman as defendants because they dismissed my complaints against BRC Jack Ryan without me being notified and denied me a right of submitting a complaint in person which violated my due process right and for BRC Jack Ryan blatantly violating the terms of a past class action lawsuit callahan vs Carey of 1979 and settle with the consent decree governing the provisions of homeless shelters operations which this agency violated blatantly and yet always seem to pass the inspection that bears the same name.
