This review is from the perspective of a family member of someone requiring services. My wife and I came in here on a Sunday back in March. I dont remember the exact time we got there, but the desk person was on lunch, and we waited an hour to even talk to anyone. We debated if it was even open because it was a ghost town. My wife already didn't want to be there, and making her wait around for an hour before even talking to an office person was absolutely ridiculous. This is a CRISIS intervention center. People only come here when they're desperate. And when it's a family member taking someone who would rather not be there, it makes convincing them to stay *very* difficult.

Terrible moral compass and no integrity. I applied in the spring, went thru all the hurdles, and they told me they wanted a felony charge dropped to start working. I did just that over the summer (no felonies) and they sent me an offer letter after another interview in the fall. I had to go thru all the hurdles of a drug test physical etc a second time and they promised me I could start work.

This was an excellent pediatric clinic for mental health until a nursing staff change last fall 2023. Never as a parent have I felt more judged, unheard, or not listened to by a nurse. When needing a medication adjustment for a prescription my child had not started yet, I was hung up on twice while trying to communicate to the doctor. As well multiple times the nurse told me she would call right back. But didn’t follow through. The pediatrician psychiatrist left last winter without any notice to patients. We couldn’t get my sons medication for ADHD for school. It greatly impacted our lives in a very negative way when asking for supplemental emergent care for group therapy. The therapists and social workers are excellent so the behavioral health team is good, very empathetic with children and families. The nursing staff not so much, which is critical for medication therapy.

My home base case worker LaSonya argued with me and contradicted everything I said. She lied and claimed I was not willing to take my medicine, even though she was in the same appointment with me with Christy Dixon. Yet Christy's report says I am willing. She looked up the medicine on Google and claimed it was not for anxiety. She claimed it was for itching. I am certain Christy, a psychologist would not prescribe a medication for itching and out on the bottle for anxiety/sleep. She also accused me of being delusional and living an alternate reality just because I choose to practice my faith as a Christian. This is coming from the same woman who claims to be a Christian! LaSonya was very unprofessional and shouldn't be allowed to be in any form of mental health due to her hostile behavior.

Rude Large Tattooed receptionist who treats patients like they have a tail and knows many are a little special. When she was corrected by being smart with me she got very smart and irate and ran to a supporting so called doctor who took her story to heart. I had not had an office appointment in this entire year and was made to sign 2 documents I couldn’t see but just pushed a little pad for signature. I could have signed anything with these scamming facilities.

I’ve attended this clinic for some years. I’ve taken a step back due to life challenges. I’ve had two appointments and my first appointment my concerns were not fully taken care of nor were my results shown online. During his first appointment, I had to wait about an hour and a half after my appointment time to be seen. I’ve messaged the doctor and I’ve got no response back, but luckily I had an appointment for the following week. Originally it was scheduled two weeks out to be an annual, but my concerns from the first appointment were not handled appropriately. Therefore, what was supposed to be an annual visit turned into something completely different and no care was given. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed because after canceling what was supposed to be a third appointment for an annual check up I canceled and I wrote my concerns and then when I logged into my insurance, the doctor was changed to a OB/GYN. I personally feel like this was disrespectful because I didn’t have a say and not only that, but when I spoke to the doctor about inquiring for OB/GYN, he shook his head, so I’m not fully understanding if this was a conscious choice made by him because I don’t believe that my insurance would’ve automatically assigned me an OB/GYN without having a family doctor. The only good thing about that clinic is one of the nurses I apologize about spelled her name incorrectly but her name was Tyneisha. She was an angel and a saving grace for this clinic.

I don’t believe that they follow HIPAA rules. When I tried to talk to them about it, they just repeated the same thing. They seemed to be upset that I was questioning them. I have filed a HIPAA complaint. I would have been happy to discuss it with them, but they didn’t want to discuss anything and that is not acceptable.
