I have been very lucky. I have two amazing people working with me, Brooke and Ashley. My life has been changed for the better and I will forever be grateful.

They don't listen to what you say and will always say your high risk so they get paid more and it was my first DUI now I have to pay and do 75 hours. (Mind you I got a DUI for sleeping in my car after the bar six hours later.) I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR A DUI EVALUATION!!!!!!

This place is terrible. If you are black I would not recommend going in here. I felt it's more so of an environment for the Hispanic community. I felt discriminated against and will be filing a grievance for their gross disservice to my family

Love the staff feels like home

Dr. Ahmed is fine. However, the office staff and billing department are awful. Office staff is consistently very rude and condescending. The way they just speak to you is plain out rude, even when you are just checking in. Let alone asking them for anything, like a change of address. I informed them my address changed more than once and that my insurance changed. They did not change it, continued to bill the wrong insurance numerous times, and continued sending bills to an address that I no longer lived at despite numerous times of me informing them I do not live there. To top it off, they sent me to collection over bills I never received. I called numerous times to inquire, and I never received a call back. When I finally got a hold of somebody, they were really rude and condescending and hung up on me. As per the norm there, bills come a minimum of a few months after services. I left the office over a year ago, and it has clearly gone downhill from there. Due to the terrible office service, I would certainly not recommend anybody go there.

This place is an absolute life saver. I got out of inpatient a month ago and was put on an antidepressant. I didn’t realize I didn’t have enough medication to last until the appointment I scheduled here. My doctor from inpatient wasn’t returning any of my calls regarding a refill. When I called to try to move my appointment up and explained the case they were able to send a request to one of the doctors and they were so amazing and sent the prescription to my pharmacy. This absolutely made my night i am so grateful!!

Changed insurance and was told their intake process would require that I have multiple sessions with a therapist first and that it would be about 1.5 months before I would be able to see a psychiatrist. I explained that I had a prescription with a previous psychiatrist and that I had been unable to get my medication for more than a month, but they wouldn't budge.

I am leaving a bad review due to my experience with this facility. Awhile ago I called for help with my sister. They will not talk to you or help you with resources- therefore enabling my sister more. Over the past 2 years my sister has destroyed me and our family and our relationship, I have not once seen this "treatment center" mend that or help my sister. She has thrown temper tantrums to where I had to call the police twice because my dad had a stroke. She has now developed a 2nd addiction while in "recovery" here. She has refused to make amends or say sorry, even the little things. I have not seen her progress in this time frame. She has completely lost a relationship with me and walks around in so entitled. This is all after 2 years. DO NOT TRUST THIS FACILITY WITH YOUR LOVED ONES. She needs to be in a treatment center addressing these 2 addictions head on. She isn't getting the help she needs.

I had a very positive experience at Clarity Clinic with the provider Sharon Coys. Sharon was attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to listen to my concerns. I loved how Sharon took the time to get to know more about me and my past. I felt comfortable throughout the appointment and appreciated how thorough Sharon was. Highly recommend Sharon Coys PA-C!

The staff is great! However, the doctor of the business clarity clinic shockingly turned out to be incompetent, inadequate, and even somewhat egocentric! After 7 years of being a patient at clarity clinic I discovered that he was not responding or working with my primary care physician despite numerous attempts to reach him regarding a very serious matter!

--- I've been going to the Joslin Center, and it's been really great for me. After dealing with depression for a long time, I started seeing my therapist Sandra Hanley. She has helped me so much. She's very understanding and empowering. A lot of people told me she's really good at what she does, and I completely agree. I'm so grateful to her. The Joslin Center is an amazing place, and my therapist Sandra Hanley is wonderful.

Everyone at Cornerstone is so kind and helpful, and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They've helped me out when I needed it the most. So glad I found them.

I have heard such wonderful things about Akwetey but I just had a horrible time trying to get an office visit. I booked an appointment, blocked my calendar, and filled out the intake paperwork. I hit submit probably 14 times and they canceled my appointment because of not getting my paperwork. I tried to reinstate my appointment because they kept telling me they’re not receiving my paperwork and I tried about 15 times to complete it. A glitch in their system was not allowing the confirmation of submission after fifteen times and they could not let me have my appointment or even let me find an alternate way to send in the info by fax or scanning. Sometimes technology fails, to me it’s not a good reason to put patients through trying to push an online form 15 times and canceling their appointment. Does not seem like good business. In the end it made me want to find another provider to meet with. Such a shame because I’ve made so many referrals to this place based on my family’s experience.

Front desk people are very friendly! Makes it easier to contact them and make appointments when I have bad social anxiety!

Grateful but will never ever deal with them again. They are far too concerned with their grants and updating their building and spending their money on themselves than to care about actual people.

If you know how to follow some simple rules & are genuinely serious about getting off opiates Duane Dean will save your life. It saved mine 17 years ago. Victoria is a fantastic nurse. You have to remember what she's dealing with. Junkies that are always trying to bend rules, manipulate people & drug tests, argue or just act immature. If your serious about recovery go to Duane Dean. If you think Methadone is "withdrawal insurance" don't waste everyone's time, stay on the street. It's not easy, but if your reading this, it's probably time. Being a functional Junkie isn't easy either. Good Luck!!

What a great place - they help so many people. PADs homeless, behavioral health and those with developmental disabilities. I’m so proud McHenry county has a wonderful organization!

Location is easily accessible. Huge parking lot. Waiting area is clean and spacious. As far as the staff, I absolutely had great experience. Very friendly courteous and respectful. They have wide variety of therapists who can accommodate your needs. Also they have more then one location.
