The "lady" that works the front desk is very rude and dismissive. She was taking a personal phone call while doing her job. She acted very put out to have to deal with me. I was told a had a high balance on my account. I'm sliding scale and have NEVER received a bill in the year I've been a patient. She told me "I don't make mistakes" If you hate your job and people that much to have that much of an attitude you really shouldn't work with the public and definitely not the mentally ill. I will be speaking to home office about the bill and her rudeness. I wasn't the only person she was nasty with. Another patient left almost crying because of how they were spoken to.

If I could give Negative stars I would. This place does not care about mental health. Nikki is a joke, and she does not care about the patient. I was prescribed medicines I have been on before that I had side effects with plus they interact with other meds that I am on. I was asked why I didn't call to have them switched. I said I would like to be on the med I was on when I switch places, and I quote she said with a sassy tone " oh we aren't going to do that." So I got up and left. Why would you not put a patient on something that has been working. This place needs to be investigated on their practices because it is a joke.

My daughter was inpatient here during a mental health crisis. She has struggled since about the age of 12 and has been hospitalized numerous times in various facilities (various states)- she is now an adult. Her diagnosis are complex and treatment resistant (for the most part). Her stay here was beneficial with therapist, physicians, and most all providers showing care and empathy. Jenna (the charge nurse I believe), my daughter spoke very fondly of. She showed great care towards all the patients. Addy (sp), a mental health tech was also awesome. My daughter also mentioned Ryan was very kind - and listened. These traits are so important in all aspects of healthcare.

First time patient, very happy! The staff are friendly, office is clean. My new psychiatrist was very knowledgeable and paid attention to my questions and concerns. I've had trouble finding a good psychiatrist in gainesville but I finally found one that is helping me. Have had some issues find a med that works but my Dr is trying her best and is considerate of my health conditions that tend to interfere with finding something that works for me. Unfortunately the one med that did help me years ago is one that most drs don't like to put patients on so I have to try other options before I can be put on the one I want to be on.

I’ll be honest this detox is actually one of the best state run facilities in the area but they really need to get it together better. Anytime you speak to a physician or therapist for the day it’s very impersonal. They pull you to the side around all the other patients, with a clip board and ask you 2 questions and that’s what they consider their session with the patient each day and no one communicates with each other. All the staff hate their job and pretend not to hear, not attempt to do what is apart of their job or completely forget about any request from any patient. There’s a high turnover rate because most staff I asked how long they’d been there it was 4 months or less for most. Darnell was the best tech and employee I had any interaction with and even he seems burnt out on even on a good day he’s been there 10 years. Tyler the young 20 year old is great too but he won’t stay long , like I said high turnover.

Most horrible medical experience ever. Dr Diana Lopez is mean, unkind, cocky and arrogant know it all. She doesn’t listen to the actual needs of her patients. Zero patience. Late 70’s. Should definitely retire. She’s been reported to OIC for medical mismanagement. Stay far away

So I guess I'll join the one star club here, because that's exactly what they've earned (I'd give them zero if that was an option). I have experienced nothing but problems, mistakes, incompetence and aggravation since day one!

Called and they said I had to do paperwork at the office in Sebring sure fine go there doors locked and call back wait for almost 20 minutes just for her to say they're closed and to go to wauchula?? Wasted my time, my gas and lost a client.

The student therapist is more concerned with finishing their required training then working with the client. Lots of obvious coping skills no actual help. I stop going to the clinic because i noticed The therapist was mocking me. I guess she didn't like me but it's not the first time ive seen it. You get a feeling something isn't right when some people in the clinic look at you funny and in my last session i confirmed it as soon as i left i overheard her making a caricature of something i said in session to the receptionist. Dont believe your getting the best service because its UM.

i would not be alive if not for this place. The therapist for adults here in the psych unit is absolutely incredible, they feed me very well, got me on a schedule and snapped me out of it with the help of good medication technique and understanding. i wish they would get their tech and nurse staffing in order, there are some people who do not need to work there unfortunately, but i will always be in debt to Angelika, Tim, and G (Gennifer). and DR JEN! thank you guys. you saved my life.

I turned 18 and signed paperwork saying I didn’t want any information shared with my mother about me and guess what they did. Sent my mother an email about all my diagnosis and information thanks a lot baycare see you in court!

Dr. Ricart is the best doc ever - I have been seeing him for over 5 years and being under his care is has had a huge impact on the quality of my life. If you are struggling with anxiety or stressful life events, or bad days have become bad weeks or months, I highly recommend Dr. Ricart. He is compassionate and his office is 100% on point. I started here bc the self pay rates were reasonable when I didn't have insurance and continued even after I got commercial insurance bc there really isn't a better doctor in this field in Miami.

Do yourself a favor and listen to the reviews.

To say the problem with this facility is the wretched and uncaring staff which might be unfair. Like most dysfunctional organizations the problem more than likely starts at the top and the people who face the public end up looking responsible. They do the best they can and but the stress of poor management and lack of leadership takes its toll.

Dr Ramirez listens and very professionally friendly. I like that he is no nonsense straight up front. And has the patience of a Saint. I take his advice seriously. The staff is helpful the

I went to this office a few years ago and was treated by Kay Colvin-Guthrie, and have been struggling with the experience since I was unable to officially report her for her mistreatment when it happened.
