This program and staff along with the individuals that I have frequented group therapy sessions with has saved me from what may have been a terrible future. If you're afraid, worried, and or looking to better yourself, I highly recommend you check this facility out and set up an appointment immediately. I have done the PHP and IOP programs with Immersion, and I am highly satisfied with my time here. From the techs to the therapists to the doctors and on to the administrators, the staff here is all knowledgeable and truly care about helping their clients recover. The program is heavily 12 step based, which I wasn't into at first, but came to realize was a blessing. This place is plugged in to the local recovery community and will help get you there as well. Housing and accommodations were very nice. I can't say enough good stuff about this place. If you bring a positive attitude and a desire to recover into this place, you'll leave with most everything you need to maintain long term sobriety.

The Transition House is a great great program! All the counselors and all the behavioral techs care about every single person that walks through the door! Every group is informative and gives you the tools to exceed quality sobriety! This program is not for people who need it, but for people who want it! One of the greatest things I have learned in this program,is I had to change myself and my old behaviors (not just the ones I wanted)...but all of them! I have been here for 5months and I am truly not the same person that walked in the door on December 31! The administration, staff and clients have helped to make the man I am today! Thank you Transition House! I can truly say I love Christopher Stewart!!!

★★ – L👀K‼️ My experience at Stepping Stone Center for Recovery was extremely negative. I entered on December 9, 2026 (now my sobriety date — 58 days sober today), and while I’m grateful for my recovery, this facility made an already difficult process worse. Intake staff were rude and disrespectful. One staff member aggressively handled my personal belongings and spoke to me in a hostile, dismissive way for no reason. Upon my discharge, I received my iPhone back as I was departing the structure, I sat into my Uber car and I immediately noticed that there is a crack on my phone screen protector that definitely wasn't there prior to entering the facility. Detox was the most alarming part. I went through shaking and vomiting for over a day without medication support, which was frightening and felt medically neglectful. I also personally saw medical staff handling medications with bare hands. When I asked them not to do that with mine, I felt brushed off and treated differently afterward. The “treatment” groups felt unprepared and low-effort, like worksheets printed at the last minute. There were no meaningful outdoor activities, the environment felt gloomy and depressing, and the property was dirty — including duck droppings where clients sit during visits. Only positives: the cleaning staff worked hard, and the food was decent. Recovery is hard. A rehab should feel safe and professional. This place did not. I would not recommend Stepping Stone Center for Recovery. Update 03/06/2026 Dear CEO: Stop hustling up reviews for your business.

Cindy changed my life. Yes, I did the work but without her guidance I would have been lost. She is the most caring and understanding counselor I've ever had, and she has a great sense of humor.

I had a very frustrating experience at TBT, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. From the start, the communication was poor, and I found it difficult to get the answers I needed. The staff seemed disorganized and unresponsive, which added unnecessary stress to an already difficult time.

I have never visited a more organized and professional Doctors office in St Lucie County. The staff here are top rated in my opinion. They make you feel welcome. I have been coming here for a few years and I can say that I have never once had a single issue. I am forever grateful for the help that I have received through this office. Everything nice clean the staff are friendly and professional as well the therapist. I went with my 12 year old daughter as a walking they talk to her and we when the next day as they told us they just talk again about the same question and give a appointment… but I don’t understand why my daughter need to wait 2 weeks for the intake and then wait to see the psychiatric. When her psychologist send her for emergency treatment or stay hospitalized. I will update my review to see how goes.

The owners should be ashamed at how they run their practice!! I’ve been a patient for several years and have had many issues with the office. The last mistake they made cost me $125 and I have requested several times for the office manager to call me. (And no, they very rarely answer the phone.) No one has contacted me. They have zero compassion. There is also a constant turnover in doctors. I have dropped them as my provider and I would never recommend them.

I had my son's mom marchman act locked up for 5 days. For her heavy drinking and etc.. they give her a shot which is supposed to help her not drink. The shot is a lie. She still drinks like a fish. Also when they call her color she tells them she's working and they are ok with that. The out patient program dosnt work at all apparently.

I had my autism evaluation here and have gone back and forth on leaving a review. I don't like leaving low reviews, but, considering how much this experience has stayed with me, I thought it important enough to say something. This service provider did not seem prepared to assess adults, nor did she seem to take into account cultural differences (like parents who were in no way able to address social or sensory issues with a child when they were just trying to survive each day). I am a Black Woman and to say I was disappointed after going here, thinking I would be heard and safe, is an understatement. I fully agree with the other one-star reviews (one of which was oddly taken down a few days after I first saw it). In fact, the only time I felt validated during this process was when I read the other one-star reviews on here. That let me know it wasn't just me. I wish those reviews had been up when I was looking at this place for evaluation. The Dr. was very judgmental and told me I struggle maintaining relationships because my parents are divorced so no one modeled healthy relationships for me. What an awful thing to tell someone, as if marriages are guaranteed to be healthy and safe for the children. She seemed ready to dismiss everything I said, almost like "Rainman-esque" persons are the only ones who'll pass scrutiny. There seemed to be no consideration for 1) masking, 2) a spectrum of persons with a spectrum of qualifying behaviors, and 3) varying levels of functionality and growth as an adult (not a child, an adult). Now my challenge of being seen and heard is even greater. For someone already struggling and looking for support, I sincerely regret going here for my evaluation.

They got me out of a crisis I experienced during covid. I did not see my life ever being back to normal again.

Legacy has always been a top notch facility. My family has been with them for years. Their staff really care for their clients, and ensure that they have all they need for a healthy and happy well rounded life to succeed. I will always recommend them.
