Starting point Behaviral Health in Callahan/Yulee is fantastic. Ive been going to them for 3 years. As of today I got discharged because I reached all of goals with therapy. ❤️ I highly recommend if you have PTSD, bipolar, anxiety or trauma to go see someone. They helped me tremendously.

Not sure why the Doctor is giving an attitude because I did not pick up my physical results 5 years ago.

I really disappointed looking back on my visits and honestly the phone sessions are just a money grab, totally worthless to me. Maybe for someone else no me. The sessions just seemed like I was talking with someone that just finished an online degree and was looking for patients to establish an income. I'm wasn't a person looking for meds to take everyday but that was what was given to me. I got frustrated quit the prescribed meds and turned things around on my own. I was a person that just needed a pep talk or some positive ideas. For me I found a better job, let go of the past now things are much better.

While trying to convey important information to a psychiatrist here, I was continually interrupted by the psychiatrist with “mom” in what seemed like a warning (and patronizing) tone. I get it. It’s about the child. But so was the information I was trying to convey. Today the information would have been good for the psychiatrist to have, but since she never let me speak, we stand stagnant in the same problem that the psychiatrist is refusing to address. Do better.

I am extremely grateful for Koru and for all of the people I have met along the way. I did not think I would ever even attempt recovery and I am so glad that I did. The entire staff is extremely kind and helpful, and I truly felt that everyone wanted the best for me and listened to me. The community was great. The facility is very nice, with spacious bedrooms and a lovely spa. The food is great, and again, the people are wonderful. The transitions between levels is individualized and they really know what they are doing. I am not dismissing any previous reviews, but I do think it is important to keep things in perspective. Recovery is so hard and that frustration can be misdirected to the facility. The people at Koru care about the clients. Suggestions and constructive criticism are definitely taken into consideration and promptly addressed. You will be heard at Koru. The staff members all work together beautifully and it really creates an environment of peace and unity for everyone. I would and will recommend Koru, and to anyone reading this, whether you choose Koru or not, best wishes and don’t give up. It’s worth the fight!

One of the counselors put me on speaker when I wanted to share something very painful, thereby breaching confidentiality. Obviously I knew it was because I could hear my voice. She straight up denied it with an attitude and said “you are not on speaker MA’AM.” Not reaching out to you all anymore but I guess that’s what you get for free service.

Friendly and professional service from staff who go out of their way to help improve your situation and provide medical assisted living as well as providing services for those who are seeking drug rehab services. Provide services also for those who are HIV+ and provide a safe and healthy environment for those who are housed at the facility.

Linda runs an amazing establishment and really cares about clients, Isabella is an amazing nurse and goes out of her way to help and Mrs. Amy is everything you would want or expect out of nurse I had an amazing experience unfortunately there was a case manager named Samantha who really walks around like she doesn’t care, I think she should look into a different career other than her everyone else was amazing. Residential was amazing we were like one big family there for each other. Kim is amazing she saved my life and was always there to help I don’t know what I would do without her, Linda is amazing and was always compassionate

I’d never thought there would be a program so helpful as lifeskills. It helped keep my mind busy everyday so that my thoughts wouldn’t run me into the ground. The staff is absolutely amazing and caring a few shout outs go to dr. Laura who was so cheerful and funny always made me laugh every group. Magda, she has such a sweet soul and will make you feel better anytime. The nursing staff, Jena is the best nurse out there, she is caring and funny as well as smart. Dani teje teach I loved her three way I was greeted with a smile and a good morning everyday! And when times got tough she was there. Thank you to my therapist Kayla who always pushed me to get my work done and cared out me. And Megan, thank you for always being there for me to talk about random stuff especially out book! And finally to Heather my bulk personal trainer. I love you to the moon and back thank you for always pushing me to my physical and mental limits when it came to exercise. I will always be your partner in crime! I could keep going on and on but these are just a few people who stood out to me while I was a paient the at lifeskills outpatient. If your looking for a program for your loved one or you to be taking care of with so much kindness, fun, and lessons that our taught to use in our everyday life, then this program is for you!

I didn't end up coming here, but they (Debbie, in particular) were so helpful in answering a ZILLION questions I had and helping me get all set up to go. I was traveling and they were willing to pick me up at the airport and everything. My prescriptions must come from a certain place and they were willing to accommodate that. They were willing to give everything I needed. While I didn't attend, the facility seemed like it was going to be great! I don't have anything negative to say about it. And they made the arrangements INCREDIBLY easy. I can't 100% recommend it having never gone, but I'd definitely say to put it on your list. They seemed incredible.

Better way of Miami is where I got my recovery from. I will never forget this place. It been so much to me to change in my life. Thank you better way.

Caught myself slipping into alcoholism and checked myself in for a week detox.everything was great ! Russ on the phone helped me get registered, when I arrived I was pretty sick and the director Jose met me outside and helped calm my nerves and get me situated with the intake process. The medical staff did a wonderful job with proper medication I needed to detox safely, I had unsuccessfully tried to detox myself at home and was really sick. Never once did I feel stripped of my humanity, I was treated with dignity and respect and I did the same with the staff. Lastly the food was good, I gained almost 20 lbs that I desperately needed as I was pretty thin. Overall a 5 star plus, I highly recommend Heroes mile !

Dr. Koniver & Dr. Schulter are amazing. Kind, caring, and perfect for what our son needs. Their help and diagnosis was the first real light I've seen in our family journey. The entire office has that spark of heart, genuine friendliness, and sense of compassion. We'll be following their lead all the way. Feeling grateful, and highly recommended.

Dr. Ruiz-Santiago is one of the only psychiatrists to hear out my symptoms & environmental stressors without shutting me half way to slap a diagnostic label. She doesn't start off on heavy doses & frequently monitors how your body is taking the medication. Shoutout to Armenta Acevedo, I don't know how she can do it, be a badass & take care of all her patients, marriage counseling couples & social service kids. This is practically the only office in Miami that you can be scheduled to be seen the same week, unlike alot of places that have waiting lists & an average of 2 month wait before your next appointment.

I was only with River point for a week but in that week I had major breakdown. They were there for me one hundred percent Joy was the first person I was in contact with what a wonderful person to start with the staff that I members Fatima and Edward got to me more in a week than in years. They have a nurse Marilyn is very very compassionate person who made sure I was doing when I wasn't she helped me. So if your are having a tough time please check them out. The reason I'm leaving is that I live in New York I was visiting my family when I needed them I need to get home
