Although I’m from out of town, I was still able to be seen the same day at True Health as a walk-in. The entire process was quick and efficient — I was in and out in about an hour. After seeing the doctor, I was able to get my prescription immediately since they have an on-site pharmacy, which made everything even more convenient. The staff was kind, helpful, and very accommodating. I truly appreciated how smooth and stress-free the experience was!

Being totally honest, I went in to my group sessions w Dr Tiggis with hesitancy and a heavy dose of skeptism. But over the course of my work w her she gave me a whole new outlook. She creates a space of safety and confidence that went a long way towards allowing me to truly face my issues head on and i can never thank her enough for that. Ive seen some of the other more negative comments on here and my only conclusion is that they were not bought into the process, which is a must to have success. If you do that part, the Dr. and her team of professionals will guide you the rest of the way, even though that path may include facing some tough truths, etc. i can highly recommend specifically Dr. Tiggis - she was, ofc my primary doctor - and greatly appreciate her role in my treatment. She deftly and professionally managed many types of cases and personalities and made us into a cohesive, family-like group, which i am sure is not any easy thing to pull off, but her experience shows. Thanks for everything Dr.

Carla is one of the most incompetent therapists I’ve dealt with to this day. If you want to save your relationship, marriage, etc go see anyone else but this human mannequin. My partner and I reconciled our differences without her help and if anything she only wasted our time, emotions , and energy. Do yourself a favor and go talk to anyone, but her!

Celadon legitimately changed my life for the better. I flew from Seattle to Fort Myers just for this experience. I came in on August 27th with severe depression and anxiety, to the point that I was ready to do something drastic. I left on October 1st and truly felt like a changed person. I am happy, my meds are working, and I have a renewed zest for life. The staff was incredibly helpful to my healing, particularly the techs (shoutout to Steve) who spent the most time with us outside of a clinical capacity. The nurses were equally incredible and always willing to advocate to the practitioners when we needed med changes or anything else. The practitioners themselves were very accessible and always willing to edit treatment if needed. Groups were generally very helpful, especially after the switch up of group formatting! The therapists were also very accessible and ready to listen, even if they weren't your primary therapist. Michelle the clinical director was super proactive in making sure clients were happy. The food was great, too (thanks, Grant!). All of this said, my peers at Celadon were what made my healing possible. Everyone seemed to be there for the right reasons and everyone was so so loving. You get what you put into it, and the people there put everything into their health.

There are truly no words to express my heartfelt words for this center. However, I do my utmost. I have been a patient for over 7 years. I was incredibly apprehensive at first, as we all have our own unique stories and pathways which lettuce there. From the first time I called, I was treated with nothing but kindness, compassion, and a sense of urgency. My very first encounter was with Nick. He knows the incredible things he has done for both my family and myself over the years, and in a hundred lifetimes, it could never be repaid. My dear Ms. Martha... This angel has been my rock, I believe she truly does the Lord's work. Thanks to her understanding, compassion, and allowing me to be an active part of her treatment plan, I am beginning to have a real life again! Ms. Marcia.... She is incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and has been the absolute best addition to this team. She is incredibly understanding, and I absolutely adore her. Then there is my sweet Amber ... There is no doubt that center would not be what it is without her. She takes the complete time to not only listen, but do absolutely everything in her power to help. She has absolute heart of gold, and her true love for her line of work shines through in all she does. Thank you Bell Eve, for saving my life along with several of those I have sent your way.

Lighthouse Recovery Institute has been a blessing in my life. From day one, I felt welcomed, supported, and respected. My therapist, the upper management, and the techs genuinely care and go above and beyond to make sure each person feels seen and valued, not just as a client, but as a person. They create an environment that balances accountability with compassion, which made a huge difference in my recovery. The structure, guidance, and encouragement I received helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect. I’m incredibly grateful for Lighthouse Recovery Institute and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking real support and lasting change. Thank you!

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Florida?
When comparing providers in Florida, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Florida?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Florida?
Yes. Mental Health US includes Florida providers that offer mental health services, substance use treatment, or both. You can use the available filters to narrow results by treatment needs, or review individual facility pages for more detailed information about the services and conditions each provider treats.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Florida providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
