Our sober living house is awesome! We have outings, like a comedy show, pool time, we recently went to the movies to celebrate one of our house mates birthday! The staff is really great, this is my first and last (fingers crossed) time in rehab, and the ladies that run our house are the best! They are very attentive and caring, if you don't know how to do something (ironing for example), they will teach you. Julie and Damaris are very kind and easy to talk to! The house is warm and welcoming! I just can't say enough about how amazing these ladies are!

Best program I've ever been to I got my GED while being there they feed us soo good pizza every Sunday ms Tanya , Mr Chris , ms rozzela and maggie were the best I really wish I can go back in time those were probably the best the happiest 3 months I've ever had.....

I had relocated from another state and was searching for a therapist that specialized in what I needed. When I called, they do a screening to place you with a therapist that matched what you need. On my first appointment, I immediately feel very at ease with the entire vibe as soon as you walk in. When I met the one they matched me with I was so comfortable, so ready to get started and continue my therapy. I am so so happy and can not wait and look forward to every visit in the future.

Very clean. They take really good care of you. The only problem I had was a language barrier cuz sometime when I talk English they looked at me confused they're mostly Spanish speaking and that's okay but just the language barrier where I had a problem for her and that they were exceptional caring compassion and they really took care of my son I can't complain.

It’s incredible to see what this center will do in order to help someone. I have seen them go to great lengths to help people even if they don’t end up admitting to ViaMar. They are not a big corporation that has the rotating door of patients. They give a ton of individual care. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a loved one in need or someone that wants to take the plunge to a path of recovery. They also work with people that have other things going on like drugs, alcohol, mental health and other issues that are so hard to tackle when an eating disorder is present. It is not easy to overcome, but if you put in the work, this place just might save your life.

Dr. Salgado is the best!!!! After being her patient for 10+ years, she feels like a piece of my family. She remembers small details from conversations we have had and remembers milestones in my life even pertaining to my family members. She provides such compassionate and competent care. The wave has an excellent staff, everyone is so supportive and positive and nice, there is a therapist there named Tara, she puts so much love and effort into every single group that she leads, the groups are fantastic, it’s a beautiful building, the clinical team is wonderful.. Juan is the cook.. he puts so much love into his food.. he is such a friendly and supportive and enthusiastic human being.. a tech named Natalie is a ray of sunshine!! She is so sweet and loves her job so much and it shows.. the techs were all friendly and great.. Marium is the housekeeper and the weekend cook.. she works very hard to keep the place spotless, all the nurses are wonderful.. Reina is an incredible human being with the biggest heart and she radiates positivity and kindness and love!!! Greg is such a great nurse.. the whole staff is so supportive and loving.. the only complaint I have is the provider is not so good with dealing with med management.. I have a lot of mental health issues, and I never felt as if she was open or listened.. but over all.. I feel completely ready to return back to normal life and stay sober and make my mark in this world.. the staff does a fantastic job!! Very good at making us feel heard and they always fill us up with positive feedback and hugs!!

I love this place for the most part, from day one all the staff made me feel like part of a family not just another junkie client passing through. After many years of suffering from substance abuse, a neighbor told me about the Sylvia Brafman center where she thought they could help my son. Nothing had worked before, but we wanted to give it a shot. The teams there gave us all hope that this place could finally help my son on the road to recovery. Everyone down to the techs was encouraging and compassionate. Emily, his therapist, gave him the push he needed to look into himself and realize that the person inside him was worth saving. She was perfect for him. Then there was Brandi, his case manager - our guiding angel, our incredibly patient and efficient mentor, our rock. I don’t think there was anything she couldn’t do! We would have been lost without her. She was kind and compassionate while being honest no matter how uncomfortable she might have felt. She told it like it was which we deeply appreciated.
