I just graduated on 12/5/24 the staff there was great I would recommend this place too anyone in need of help and wanting a great recovery team to work with this place saved me and my family the didn't lie when they say there is magic in between those 4 walls you just have to put in the work and wait for the miracale to happen

I have read this review and I have received personal counseling from Angela Carr and I must say she is one of the best therapist. I have come in contact with in the past four years. We have been through endless counseling sessions, and I can confirm without a doubt the advice she has given me has nothing but instilled positivity in my life. There have been endless numbers of times I have needed someone to talk to, and I had to reach out to her after hours, and we had a conversation Like we were in therapy. I have nothing but high respect for her professionalism for being an excellent therapist.

I have never met nicer, kinder health care staff... anywhere. Always a smiling face (usually a pretty one i might add), and you can tell they truly care about helping people at a very low time in their lives. No words can express my gratitude. This place has made such an improvement in our lives. Lacey is amazing. Jamie, Dr. Witherington, and Dr. Ellington are all spectacular. We followed Dr Ellington and couldn't have made a better decision. I can tell you that some of these reviews are just people not taking responsibility for their actions. There's no odor. The building isn't falling apart or guilty. I'm fact, it's cleaner than most clinics. Sure it's small, but they are just beginning. There's always time for improvements and expansions. Maybe show up on time if you don't want to be fined the 75 fee that is clearly posted. They also ask that we tell them directly not voice mail. It's really simple

I have a loved one that is a resident at one of your facilities and I have to say it is one of the worst ran places in the state.... mental health is a serious issue y'all need to start taking it more seriously and actually caring..... people's lives are not based on how much money you can put in your pockets. True Self Recovery has truly changed my life. I was in a hopeless dark place and True Self Recovery has been a wonderful experience and has given me the tools I need to live free of drugs and alcohol. I was a negative bitter person and now I have the tools and support to succeed and thrive sober. The staff was phenomenal the classes were great and even fun at times. There's an atmosphere of true love and respect at true Self recovery. Loved it.

This is the BEST 30 day facility I have EVER been to. They came and picked me up and showed me nothing but love the whole time I was there. The councilors and peer support are TOP NOTCH there is nothing better than learning about recovery from people who have been through recovery. The H&I meetings are truly amazing, the AA & NA come to the facility and tell their stories. All the story’s were good and helped me in my recovery giving me hope. The food is AMAZING… There are two awesome chefs that KNOW HOW TO COOK. YOU WILL EAT LIKE A KING/QUEEN. They also help you get into sober living and give you plenty of recourses you can use upon discharge. They have a heart for recovery and they deserve 5 STARS

I started seeing Dr. Nguyen in 2011 after struggling with postpartum depression following the births of my two sons in 2006 and 2009. My primary care doctor, Dr. Barrow, tried over 12 antidepressants, none of which worked well. He diagnosed me with bipolar disorder and referred me to Dr. Nguyen, assuring me I'd be well taken care of. Despite my anxiety about doctor visits, I felt at ease with him; he had a wonderfully kind demeanor and never judged my medication combination.

Caring friendly therapists. The turnover is fairly high so it has hard to sometimes build a long term relationship with a therapists.

Hello people I was one a member at birch tree communities mountain view site when I was there in the beginning I was 19 years old I have been successfully discharged I had a long history of anger issues I have been safely removed off of all my medication but one just to help me sleep. It doesn't matter what your past was like the only person that can change your future is you honestly I know I'm not perfect neither is the person standing next to you everyone makes mistake mine have made me wiser and pain has made me stronger there's going to come a point in your life that you are going to have to face your past and except the fact that you can not do anything about it but you can make a choice about your future the only person that can change is you and I believe that recovery is possible I did recover I'm 30 yrs old now I have 3 more years until my land is payed for I'm a certified mechanic and certified x-ray welder no matter where you are in life you always have the chance to start over again the only person that can do that is you. Acceptance it one of the biggest keys in life ( some times we have to relive the past in order to heal from it ) 💯

Right now I am giving them five stars, but will update my review later on when I see how they handle the situation with my family member and what they do to treat him and give him the help he needs. This is his third behavioral facility commitment in 6 weeks, and the other two sent him on his way and said he was okay. He is far from okay and everyone keeps saying it’s somebody else’s responsibility to fix the major and extreme issues he is having. We will wait and see.

Meeting with the Dr was not the issue, not meeting with my son, the patient was the issue. It took over 6 months to get an appointment to see the Dr. I was under the impression the appointment was an intake evaluation for him, instead I spent 30 minutes talking with the Dr, never once did he truly talk to my son. I paid for me to see the Dr and was sorely disappointed. If I had known this was an intake appointment for me, I would not have pulled my son away from camp and I would have found someone else. As a parent looking for resources to help her child cope, this should have been explained to me. I don't want to make a follow-up appointment if it means once again noone talks to my son. I am paying for this service out of pocket and this was not a cheap visit. We will find another resource to help with his Social Quirks, because this was not it.
