Find Mental Health Providers Across Wyoming

Let me start by saying ALL of the staff here is wonderful. So friendly, patient, welcoming and accommodating. I saw Dr Campbell today and she is absolutely wonderful. I have never had a dr. cover so many issues in one visit— I finally feel like I may finally be on the right track to getting my health back in order! I also qualified for the sliding fee scale and I am so grateful to find a place to receive care that I can afford without insurance. I am so thankful for Healthworks.

The life house was such a great place, I was there back in 2015 an it was a great experience for me, but sadly I didn't complete the program I chose to sign myself out an let my addiction keep having control over me.

I’ve visited the Gillette Wyoming VA clinic a handful of times over the past months and I’ve only had excellent and thorough care and experiences with the workers and facility. With the appointments I’ve had and the employees I’ve encountered I’m more than confident with my care being in their hands.

They cannot hold therapists for whatever reason. You work with someone for several weeks, months even then they are gone. Front desk Shyla is amazing when you actually get through to her. Otherwise, calls get filtered to Idaho or another location and messages don't get passed along to providers. I call ahead whenever I need to cancel appointments because I respect people's time, but was accused two months later of No call/no showing. That is POOR communication on their part. I hate to think of that therapist wasting their time waiting for an appointment I was assured they would be notified was cancelled. No wonder they leave.

I am so glad I started working with High Country Behavior Health for my mental health needs. My therapist, Charity, has literally saved my mental health and has provided me the tools to enhance how I approach emotionally trying times. It is always a pleasure to see Dawn and Tammy at reception when I come in as well. I can't say enough about my positive experiences with this facility and highly recommend to anyone needing some extra help with their mental health.

I’ve gone back and forth on how to write this review, because my experiences at this clinic have been very mixed. If my care with Marci Nesslinger were the only factor, this would easily be a five-star review—she is consistently compassionate, supportive, and professional. Unfortunately, the clinic as a whole has several issues that make it difficult for me to rate it highly. Before seeing Marci, I worked with Diane French, and that experience was overwhelmingly negative. I was frequently told I was “just choosing to be anxious,” and I was openly shamed for experiencing food insecurity. These interactions left me feeling dismissed rather than helped. The front desk has also been a persistent challenge. It’s extremely difficult to reach anyone by phone, and when I do finally get through, I’m often told I’ll receive a call back—but that call rarely comes. This becomes especially concerning when the issue is medication-related. The most serious problem I’ve encountered is with medication management. There have been multiple times where I’ve had to go days without my prescriptions because the psychiatrist didn’t respond to refill requests or simply forgot to submit them. Going without medication affects my stability, and I worry about developing tolerance or losing progress with the only medication that has reliably worked for me. Overall, while Marci deserves a gold star for the care she provides, the broader issues within the clinic are significant. I’m giving two stars solely because of her, but my experience with the rest of the clinic has been closer to one.

As someone who works at this hospital and spoke very highly of it, I am incredibly disappointed with the treatment my husband received. Not only his treatment, but the treatment of us, his family. If you or your loved one needs help, support, or answers, please look elsewhere. I am incredibly ashamed that my work place has incredibly poor patient care when it comes to mental health and behavioral health patients. I seriously and genuinely hope they can improve their actions and techniques, as my husband was sent home without any treatment, help or support. We are back at square one.

Two family members have gone to see two different counselors here. Nothing but good things to say. They have several and try to make a good fit. When one did not work out personality wise it was no big deal. We requested another and changed over. They worked out better and we were pleased. Find a good fit for you is my advice. The facility is very accommodating to privacy and your needs. Sliding fee is also availible for those who need it.

This is a great place except for Jenny the Navigator when I decided to check myself out she was the reason This woman lied to me and shouted out in front of all the other girls that This place was better than jail for me which I am not looking at any jail time I checked myself in and then lied to my mom about who picked me up I was picked up by wyo rides not my husband in a red van which she would not know seeing how she doesn't work past 7pm and I left at 1030 at night and it's on video how I left this woman will bring the whole house down with her lied it's supposed to be a safe place but it's not while Jenny is working there she is not a good person at all other wise people are wonderful and really work hard for you but of you go and you ate given Jenny as a navigator leave and leave fast

At first I thought everything was absolutely wonderful I loved the playroom I loved how welcoming it felt all the snacks it was great, but my son's anger continued to get worse and worse and then when things got serious I feel like we were abandoned. Not just my son but me as well.

Everyone here has been completely wonderful. My daughter sees a therapist here, and my daughter has blossomed so much in the past year! I would definitely recommend to anyone here for services needed❤️

This place is amazing!!! It doesn’t even feel like a facility, they helped me so much and you become family with the other clients. The staff are amazing at what they do and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start my journey of recovery! Wyoming recovery is they best place to go by far and I think it’s so amazing that they let you still interact with the community and not feel like your locked down all the time and they give you the chance to get away for a few hours on the weekend! This is the best place to go to take a step towards staying clean!!!

Northern Wyoming has been the best thing that has happened in my life. Between the therapists and the peer specialists there I have been able to find a new way of living and remaining sober. Even when I have made mistakes they have stuck right by my side making sure that they never gave up on me. If it wasn't for the help I've received I have no idea where my life would be but I know the quality of it would be no where near where it is today.

With my experience so far things can move slowly to start but one the ball is downhill rolling the therapists I’ve worked with so far are understanding and hospitable. I feel very supported with the DBT classes offered Fridays from 9-11 am and all of the small little community activities they have. A fine environment to consider starting your healing journey in.

I called, and I was seen and treated with only care, respect, and attention. With Ptsd and TBI issues, I was referred, followed up on, and even reminded of appointments. My provider, Joseph Smith, and his nurse Kelly are both awesome and attentive, and I feel comfortable with both. Definitely happy to be here!
