Visitors shouldn’t be using the bathrooms at this facility. I was in to see a family member recently and I saw someone I recognized that works there. His name is Terry and he was my friends old manager. He got in trouble for recording people using the bathroom where they used to work. He has voyerism charges and somehow is the OPERATIONS MANAGER. Literally he’s the guy who sets up the cameras and reviews the footage. I have no idea how he was able to get that job, but if I was a female that worked with him I’d feel incredibly uncomfortable. All of this is public information in the local municipality.

It’s crazy how some of the staff is so great and kind! Then you have the bald headed guy who is rough and rude! He is so unprofessional. This would be such a great place. But this guy can’t put his ego aside. As we recover the pain is real. The uncomfortable in your own skin is real. And he is such a disappointment to the crew! I was on my fifth day and I started to vomit uncontrollably! I was vomiting for over 7 hours. No sleep body breaking down. And he had zero compassion. He forced me in a room by myself and left me there. I literally thought I was going to die. I was isolated alone afraid and in serious pain. I threw up in the floor and he made me mop it up myself. He was so angry at me. So I just left. He took my sobriety from me. I feel robbed! Stella Mari’s please do better! Get rid of your of your weakest staff member. Don’t let him rob anyone else of their goal.

Went here when I was a kid. I remember being strapped down in a gurney and injected with sedatives because I was hyperactive. This was in 97. I’m sad to see it’s only gotten worse. Staff gave little care back then as well… seems to be a culture issue.

I am extremely disappointed with the PHP and IOP program for adolescents. I took my son there for help with his mental health. It took over 3 weeks to get in contact with the psychiatrist to get him on medications even though he was there every day. We did his discharge paperwork 3 days before the actual discharge and I informed the therapist that his teachers are emailing me that he is even more withdrawn than he was prior going to Beckett and she continued with the paperwork like it wasn’t even an issue. The very next day I informed her that I had found marijuana in his bag and she said sorry to hear that, but not one concern about how he may not be ready for discharge! At this point, I’m i am ready for my son to get out of there so I can get him some real help! Beckett is negligent and will not take care of your child!

So here's the thing about Coleman's establishment.... There was one doctor (psyche) who was good.... and guess what she left. But thank you to this doc who took me seriously because the next doc I had made me choose between blood pressure (prazosin) and anxiety pills the only other drug I am on is an anti-psychotic. The nurse who was "helping me" get my meds told me she would talk to the doctor for me and "see what she could do about letting me have that blood pressure pill I asked for-- she asked about my anxiety and I said it was pretty high. She said she wasn't sure if I could have an anxiety med with prazosin. I basically said "I'd like an anxiety med too but you made me bargain for prazosin so I doubt she'll let me get the anxiety pill." The nurse paused and said "I'll have the doctor check (good doctors notes) and we'll just *see* if we can get you that medication". They managed to prescribe me the prazosin and the anti-psychotic but not the anxiety pill and I am glad. I am on the lowest dose of both of these pills.

Gonna have to say it. Signature health really screwed me over. They stated that a third party would be help with rent after a hospital visit. I spent the last of my money to go to this manditory meeting which most definitely could have been a FaceTime or email interaction. Just to be told they're probably not even going to respond until after Christmas. What a waste of money I am so disheartened by what happened today. Very shortsighted on behalf of Joe. I'm waiting for the inevitable eviction notice courtesy of signature health and their lackadaisical attitudes. I am so boned

I have had a great experience with Ohio Guidestone. The school where my kids go recommended this service and right away they got seen and we have weekly in-home appointments setup with a therapist. There's even an option for school visits and virtual visits. We have no complaints and like our therapist very much.

Don’t expect them to honor your privacy as a patient because that’s not going to happen. If you want your privacy violated,by all means, go here. I’ve had issues with Mr Frampton not letting me leave my own house also. What’s it called when you’re held against your will? Oh that’s right.””False imprisonment”. I'll start by stating that I really liked the person I saw for my individual therapy, and she is not the reason I chose not to use compass anymore. The reason is, on three separate occasions, I had to call about my meds, all different scenarios. Each time I was told I would receive a call back, however, that did not happen any of the times. The first two times I called back since they didn't call me when they said they would, but the last time I did not (still haven't received one, but it's a mute point now). I understand stuff happens, but three times in a row not calling someone back is just not acceptable, or professional, to me. Not to mention, my issues include not being heard and being ignored/forgotten. What's the point of getting help for things if the place I'm getting help from is contributing to my issues? Seems counterproductive and made me feel, well, not great, so I'm just not going to go back.

Refuses to take insurance unless you force them to because “it probably won’t cover your expenses.” Receptionists act like their job is a burden, doctors refuse to listen to you and just give you more medicine, therapists treat you cruel and never listen to you, and God forbid you miss one appointment for any reason because then you have to start the whole process over again before they even consider seeing you. Better off saving your money as this place is a piece of trash establishment with no care for their patients.

This organization it's worth the time. My girlfriend was struggling with severe anxiety and depression and needed help. She came in for an evaluation and for months she's just been ran around and been labeled a alcoholic and sent to AA meetings which made her lose the job at Honda. They said they would be able to help get her back to work and they didn't. The completely fell through and ruined her to the point where she cannot function at all... Do not go here if you need actual help. They are a waste of tax payers money.

Do NOT go to this place. The provider is a joke who doesn't listen to a word you say about the medication that works for you. Understand that once you are in there, good luck getting discharged even one day early. If you want to go home for whatever reason, you will have to AMA. When you AMA, you don't get your belongings for 72 hours (if you come back any later for them, they don't give it to you and they get donated), you get no phone call, and they walk you off the property. They do this so people can't leave and they get the full amount of insurance money. Place literally cares about money more than your wellbeing. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

If I could give this place a 0 star I would, I called today trying to get an appointment scheduled, as soon as the lady answered the phone she yelled "What do you need?!" Quite a bit of the staff here is very rude, I will not be returning to this place o will find another psychiatrist. I strongly advise others to not seek services at this dump.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Ohio?
When comparing providers in Ohio, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Ohio?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Ohio?
Yes. Mental Health US includes Ohio providers that offer mental health services, substance use treatment, or both. You can use the available filters to narrow results by treatment needs, or review individual facility pages for more detailed information about the services and conditions each provider treats.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Ohio providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
