OhioGuidestone’s Lorain Health Center provides comprehensive behavioral health and primary care services under one roof, offering immediate and ongoing support for children, adolescents, teens, adults, and early childhood populations. The center specializes in outpatient counseling, individual and family therapy, group therapy, psychiatric services, and substance use disorder treatment, including medication-assisted treatment with individualized care plans. ReadyCare Walk-In Clinics allow clients to access same-day behavioral health support, including crisis intervention, assessments, and coordination to additional services. Early childhood mental health programming addresses attachment, developmental, and social-emotional needs for children from birth to age six.
OhioGuidestone emphasizes individualized, evidence-based treatment and holistic recovery. Therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, child-parent psychotherapy, and mindfulness-based interventions.
