This place is full of horrible, greedy, rude ppl. Suboxone is a medication used for opites dependency and is 10× more addictive. I have bn on this medication 13 yrs and my body depends on it and if it doesn't get it will go into server withdrawal and have sizers and blood pressure issues and possibly cause death. The doctor has let me go all weekend already without, ride a bike across town in this freezing weather this morning and still had a nasty evil attitude. The doctor purposely wrote my prescription so Medicare wouldn't cover it, it's vary expensive and the doctor knows I can't afford it without Medicaid . Also the doctor made a change so I would have to go every day to the pharmacy and get my medicine, how is someone supposed to keep a job doing that?? They have lied to my face more times then I can count and to be 100% honest, i was doing better before I joined there program. Be careful, these ppl will leave you wet, gold, hungry, withdrawaling on the side of villard and think nothing of it. Do not trust them , they put on a good act the first and second time u see them but the real colors come fast, also they are gonna send you a bill for 5k whenever decide they got enough out of yea.

I don't even think this facility deserves one star. I have had severe depression for many years. I come from a family of nurses and doctor. I know the routine and how things are suppose to go and this clinic is irresponsible in a way I never thought a medical facility could be. I am honestly very surprised they haven't been sued for medical malpractice. There is absolutely no sense of urgency for patients, prescriptions, etc. If you have questions, your calls will be transferred to nurses and your voicemails will go unanswered. I was prescribed Ambien because I can't sleep. The prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy and couldn't be transferred to my pharmacy due to it being a controlled substance. I called twice. Nobody called back. The second time I explained to the receptionist what was going on, so she could understand I needed it taken care of asap. She told me that if it was already sent to the wrong pharmacy they couldn't resend it. So, I guess I can never ever have my medication because of a mistake?? My pharmacy reached out to them a couple times and they didn't get any response. There are other things that I know are done improperly or not at all, but this is the straw that broke the camel's back. I am officially done with them. I couldn't even call quality because the receptionists didn't even know what that is. The fact that these people were able to find jobs at someplace other than McDonald's, is quite frankly, amazing.

The staff here and mainly psychiatrist doesn’t really care about your overall well being. I have went through two already and the main issue I’m having is being able to decide what medications I would like to give a try. They are very controlling and don’t give you the chance to explore different options. I’ve been in a certain medication for 4 months and the fact that I’m being forced to keep trying is just insane. I also was charged a $50 late fee because I canceled the same day. It’s so much with this company. They have literally made my mental health so much more. Dealing with medication is already a lengthy and scary process. Praying I find a better company that actually make you feel heard and valued.

In my time at Ruth Meier's, it did not aid my mental health in the slighest, and quite frankly, worsened it numerous times. Additionally, being sent here irreparably damaged my relationship with my parents. While it is long, I would request you read and consider my full review and consider if this facility is right for your child before sending them here.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in North Dakota?
When comparing providers in North Dakota, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in North Dakota?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in North Dakota?
Yes. Mental Health US includes North Dakota providers that offer mental health services, substance use treatment, or both. You can use the available filters to narrow results by treatment needs, or review individual facility pages for more detailed information about the services and conditions each provider treats.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all North Dakota providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
