Find Mental Health Providers Across New Hampshire

In 2024, a family member of mine received care through Westbridge's residential treatment program. I have waited to review, as I wanted to wait until the dust settled since his experience there. His quality of life and self worth have increased exponentially since his time in Westbridge. He still speaks of the program often and how grateful he was 1. To take the personal step to better himself by attending this program and 2. To finally have found a setting that really helped tackle his struggles holistically and in a way that set him up for success not only during treatment, but after.

Mountain Valley has truly been a lifesaver to our family! It is a special place made up of special people who have both the expertise and the caring hearts to support both their residents and their families during a very difficult time. They were able to turn my daughter’s bright light back on that had been dimmed due to anxiety and depression. They educated her to help her understand what she was going through, gave her coping skills for when she experiences her highs and lows, and helped her to learn strategies and routines that allow her to maintain a healthier lifestyle. They also helped and supported our family to learn what we could do to better support her. In connecting with the other residents and forming incredibly close friendships, for the first time, our daughter didn’t feel alone in what she was going through. The therapists and staff at Mountain Valley are unmatched in the way they care about and connect with the residents. My daughter really trusted them and finally had hope that she could get better. On top of all that, she loved being there and had so much fun in all their activities. I am forever grateful to Mountain Valley!!!!

What a great opportunity I had to visit Bold Steps Recovery in Concord, NH! I am the founder of a non profit that engages with clients in recovery treatment programs, so I have gotten to see so many excellent programs and meet so many dedicated, passionate and well trained caregivers.

The Process Recovery Center is by far the best treatment center in NH and surrounding areas. I went through this program back in 2021 and stayed sober for 18 months. I had a slip up and they welcomed me back with open arms, no questions asked. Since then I’ve remained sober and will be coming up on 2 years clean in July. The difference that sets Process apart from all the others is the true sense of community and love. I came to Nashua not knowing anyone here, and because of Process I now have a city full of sober friends, family, and connections. If you or anyone you know is struggling with alcohol and or drug use/dependency, coming to Process just might be the best decision you ever make in your life.

Sunami is amazing. She is understanding, which I truly appreciate. She has been flexible with me during challenging times. She really cares about helping me and that is so important to me. I appreciate everything she has done/does for me!

I've been a VA patient since October 2012. We've all heard the horror stories about the VA nationwide, but I've got to tell you, the NH (Manchester and Portsmouth) VA services are outstanding! I can't say enough good about them...from their professional demeanor (even the volunteers) to their immediate follow-up on medical concerns, this service is great. And the wait to get enrolled was only 2 months! I give them the highest ratings.

If you’re struggling with a substance abuse problem? There is no better TEAM in this community! They are the community! THEY HAVE BEEN THERE!!! They istablished this organization! With an abundance of compassion! Absolutely Wonderful! Thank You! Every one of you!😊

I have made several referrals to the Ridge and it has always been a smooth process. As someone who routinely refers kiddos out for treatment, I know how painstaking the admission process can be. The Ridge has consistently demonstrated a smooth transition from the referral being sent to the admission. I have personally connected Jaimie P with families I am working with that have questions about the program and she offers compassionate support to them during the admission process. Families that are struggling with the decision of what to do next can expect to encounter kindness, compassion, and understanding from the staff at the Ridge. If you're looking for an environment that embraces a therapeutic environment and less of an inpatient hospital feel the Ridge is the place!

The services received from Direction were great, but dealing with their billing practices have been a nightmare. Bill was paid in full via their 3rd party billing provider, but I was subsequently billed for the same dates and amount the next month. After multiple calls and hours and providing them with proof of payment through their own billing system, I finally spoke to someone that mentioned a supervisor (which I could not speak to directly no matter how many times I called) was able to remove the double billing. A week later the invalid charge is still showing on the portal... Definitely a very stressful situation.

As others have said, anything less than five stars is absurd. I have NEVER received a level of medical care anywhere even close to what Hanover Psychiatry provides. Dr. Morrow and Dr. Green are without a doubt the best medical professionals I've ever visited with.

So glad I switched to Michelle Leclerc!!! And all the years that I've had switched doctors she is by far the most amazing woman I've ever met in my life! She listens, she hears you, she helps you, and tries to make it better! She is very caring and compassionate about her job and she makes it known to her patients that that's how she is and those are the type of providers that we need in this world! She is outstanding and amazing and I wouldn't change her for the world!!! And her nurse Kendra is phenomenal and also cares very much! The two of them together are such an outstanding team!!! I am sorry that she is leaving after being with her for 2 years. But i am happy for her to start her new journey. Michelle I'll never forget what you showed me,taught me and made me believe in myself. I will miss you so much🩷

My counselor is very helpful and picked me up when I didn't have my license. (I live very close)

3-years edit: no further significant improvements of EPS and remaining symptoms such as tinnitus and fatigue. If I stop updating this, or my comment(and maybe account) disappears, everyone is welcomed to guess whether the doctors in this place played a part or not.

I have been very happy with the care of the therapist. Rebecca, thr front desk receptionist, is extremely helpful and kind.

One of the ladies here who works here “Haley Campbell” is going out of her way on social media to comment on people and even try to bring them down through words, over a comment questioning something on the internet. She was mocking, and that even growth is something I can only aspire about. Someone with a position like this should always be sure to maintain professionalism even outside of work. You’re helping our youth so uphold that then. Not just in work. And don’t leave comments in pointless stances, especially when it was unwarranted and really unnecessarily rude

Canterbury Behavioral Health saved my life. I stayed here for four months: 6 weeks in residential, 5 weeks in PHP, and 6 weeks in IOP. I do not regret a single moment of it.
