One and done. Went here for marriage counseling. Took three days of phone calls and leaving messages.even asked if I should just go somewhere else. Finally got an appointment. Took another three days of phone calls to receive insurance email. Rushed thru our session, first opportunity counselor had to make an easy assignment for her work load she went with it. Felt like there was very little if any care at all about our situation. This caused more problems and was a waste of time. If you’re seeking actual help/counseling Go somewhere else.

I stayed in inpatient for nearly a week, I’m not complaining about that, but I just think it would’ve been better if the meals arrived on time and were still warm. The multipurpose room was nice, and so was the unit i was placed in. Though I have met lots of staff while I was there, I really liked Molly and Mustafa, as they were nice. My favorite therapist there was probably Chelsea; she’s really nice and doesn’t rush you with anything. I feel that the kids and teens should be put in units based either on age or the reason they are there, but I feel that age groups put together would be better. The age groups should be ages 5-12 in one or two units, 13-15 in a few units, and 16-18 in the other units. Overall, the experience wasn’t bad.

I love each staff member I've ever encountered at this clinic. They know each of my children and I both from my first prenatal up until now (my eldest is 18). Loving staff, they do take their Jobs seriously and personally. Which to me, is important. Thank you for all the Care each one of you has provided for me and my children ❤️ it is appreciated and my family and I love you all 😊

Company lacks leadership and organization especially during new hire training. They seem to need people so bad they skip most of the necessary training needed to actually understand the job and rush through orientation. Also you don't get paid what you are told you are getting hired at, half the job is paperwork and you only get payed at 12 hourly for this portion of the job. The milage reimbursement system is extremely flawed. There is no direct deposit so you have to wait for a physical check and pick it up at the office. Most times the paycheck won't be ready till late in the afternoon. People here are nice but they lack a leader in my opinion.

i was here for 4 months during 2021. i can wholeheartedly say it was the most positive treatment experience ive had. staff and admin communicated positively and were open and honest. i went in a closed off, combative, disrespectful young teen and came out with dozens of new resources and a healthier mindset. the individual therapists will push you to get more intense in your treatment, which can be really uncomfortable and hard at first, but in the end it’s worth it. my therapist (Mr Chase and then Miss Summer) helped me finally share my childhood trauma experiences and work through them.

This place only cares about Medicaid dollars. That’s it. My boyfriend has a been a patient there for 90 days on the adult side! His discharge date is tomorrow. I asked if gets a completion certificate and his therapist said no he will be discharged unsuccessfully. I asked why? She said cuz we don’t have the money to pay up front costs for a 3/4 way house and he can’t go cuz he is unsuccessful at nova. She lied and told him 2 weeks ago and said Medicaid would pay for his stay at a 3/4 way house. And she also said that Medicaid also only paid for 60 days at nova! When before you even enter they want to know how you will fund your stay at nova? Nova had to have prior authorization from Medicaid to guarantee payment of services. If Medicaid only paying for 60 days at nova and he’s discharging at day 90 then how was the other 30 days paid for? They knew before he came in what Medicaid was gonna pay and for how long. And they told him his Medicaid ran out 2 weeks ago and they didn’t know when his last day would be. Knowing full well how much Medicaid was paying before he was admitted! He completed everything they asked him to do including the assignments from his therapist. And according to his treatment plan! And he won’t get a certificate cuz he can’t pay to go into 3/4 sober living? Also my boyfriend was there on his own. Not court ordered and no parole and no probation orders! Nova needs an overhaul and I would not recommend this place to anyone! I understand their way of doing things. But when someone completes short term inpatient residential and don’t get their certificate of completion cuz of their therapists views then nova needs to re evaluate its therapists and practices. Just my thoughts!

Their were absolutely no services they could provide for my family that we hadn't already gotten ourselves. This whole department had no resources to provide to my son or my family. Why are they even recommended? Zoom calls for mentoring services in which the mentors themselves need mentors on how to interact with young adults ... I am very disappointed and everything disappointed in every service that was suggested just did even in a time of the pandemic if they are unable to fulfill any of the services or recommendations or needs that they offer to a family then they should state they should state that this was a complete waste of our time

Saved my life during some terrible mental health periods. Everyone I encountered was helpful and friendly. I learned a ton of skills and resources the short time I received outpatient care in both a solo and group setting with my therapist. Her name was Peggy and she taught me how to pull myself out of the darkest places. I recommend to anyone who is struggling and needing care to try out a walk-in triage visit.

My doctor, Alex Dworak, is great, and will usually answer all of my questions and get me all the help I need while I am there in the appointment with him. Outside of appointments? Awful service. You can't get directly connected with anyone, they only take a message for a nurse to call you back, and then the nurse calls you back and says that they will send a message to get what you need taken care of, but then they don't do it and you have to call back the next day. All well and good, but I have been out of insulin for 4 days and blood sugars over 400. This should not happen. And when they did submit the paperwork, they did not answer any of the questions so it was sent back to be corrected. And this is the second time I've been waiting days on insulin due to this poor staff issues. I don't want to switch providers, but it seems like I have no choice.

We were in a house and once a week to read a book from their small library of strange books about people dealing with mental issues which I find could be triggering and give patients ideas. Meal time was okay. Too many of us though in the small room and table. We got to help prep our food if not work closely to cook it. Just felt very... Unprofessional? Dietician was a very nice lady though but we really didn't have much in regards of mental health help. It's good for people who need casual help, not for people who are buried deep in their ED.

My daughter was seen at this clinic (24th street) today due to not feeling well and having a possible bacterial infection. They did get her in for appointment same day we called which I was grateful. My daughter left school and went to doctors appointment and was seen by both Mindee Swanson APRN, and Dr. Gordon. They told my daughter she could have the flu or a viral infection but did not test her for the flu. They told my daughter that the flu test they had at this clinic were expired and they did not have any there to give. After looking at her throat and her nose they sent her on her way with just a doctors note excusing her for two days. Even though my daughter has this sinus congestion for over 3 weeks and head pressure. A viral infection usually gets better within 5 to 7 days so I have a hard time believing it’s viral considering the duration she has had all this going on but that did not seem to matter. They told her that if she doesn’t get better by Friday to come back. Make this make sense, what is the difference of two or three days going to do if you have this going on for over 3 weeks. I received a call from Mindee to explain what happened when My daughter was seen and Mindee passed me onto Dr. Gordon. Dr. Gordon was very repetitive and listened to my concerns with the intent to reply not with the intent to understand. She told me that she did not want to give out an antibiotic so quickly as people get immune to them. I explained to her this was not the case with my daughter. For the population that OneWorld serves being low income making patients come back twice in one week is not convenient nor is it affordable for those that have to find transportation to and from. Not to mention if children are missing out on school, do better! Spend more time with your patients. I was really disappointed and now have to take a day off of work to go see another doctor who will actually spend time with us to listen and help. My daughter is not well enough to go back to school for two days but yet all she left with was a doctor’s note and her time wasted, poor thing is miserable. Update 4/26/2022- My daughter was seen today by a different doctor at UNMC for a second opinion and was told she has a bacterial sinus infection and was put on antibiotics. Make sure you speak up for yourself and advocate when you know you are not feeling well.

Parents, be extremely cautious. This office assigns your therapist — you don’t get to choose — and in my experience, they ignored a court order (twice) that allowed me to participate in family therapy, held sessions without my knowledge for over a year, withheld my daughter’s medical records, dismissed concerns about bias and professionalism, and the therapist resigned a week after testifying she wanted to stay—creating additional financial and logistical burdens. Their actions caused severe stress, confusion, and over $50,000 in legal fees.

The worst company if you actually want help! I’ve been with this company for 4 years! And In order for me to switch therapists I was required to write a letter to be reviewed, which they made extremely complicated and didn’t offer any help at all. My therapist I had at the time would FALL ASLEEP during our zoom sessions. So then after finally being aloud to switch therapists, I thought things would get better. My therapist had very rigid beliefs about my life and pushed them on to me. As well as every time she would say I will email you, call you, assign home work etc, it would never happen. Her phone number goes to someone else’s voicemail which I have told her multiple times about and it was never switched. Recently a family member passed away due to the worst circumstances and I fell out of therapy. My therapist NEVER contacted me regarding this let alone checked it on me to see if I was even alive!! For over 8 weeks she never contacted me. Which made me not even want to receive services from this company even more. You’re just another number and just another bill to insurance at this place there is no genuine care! I call a few days ago trying to give it another chance for them to tell me I can’t receive services again until February of 2024! Due to a stupid contract I signed that was never explained to me when I signed it regarding staying in therapy. Individuals with mental health issues have a hard time being in structured environments, therapists jobs are to help clients stay in therapy and get the help they need. This entire organization has let me down MULTIPLE times and I’d rather d** then ever go to this place for help again!!
