Find Mental Health Providers Across Minnesota

I have been going there close to a year and a half. I am not saying any names. When you call there....NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. You leave a message....NO ONE CALLS BACK. Irritating...very.

They really lack communication. But the biggest issue is with the moody receptionist. If you call to schedule something she transfers it to someone else. She doesn't keep anyone's schedule. Not sure what she does, she is NOT friendly, very snappy. It is a mental health facility, so they have a receptionist that will push someone having a rough day over the edge with her attitude. Calling there is a horrible experience having to talk to Kelly and her being so condescending. At first I chalked it up to everyone has a bad day but every appointment, every phone call she is having a bad day.

I started my child here and at first was very pleased the student we were seeing. I was then scheduled with a doctor who would be more long term option and she immediately made me extremely uncomfortable the way she talked to my child. She was also not aware of the dosage my child was currently on and prescribed him 3 times more than what he was on when we needed to increase and pushed meds that I was not comfortable with even after I continuously communicated bad experiences on the past with these meds, she pressured it until said yes. She didn't even take the time to get to know my child before trying to put him on 3 medications. The front desk is also extremely rude. Terrible experience all around.

I always walk in excited to see the staff, they make me feel so happy and always make me smile. My therapist has been nothing but a blessing and has given me so many helpful resources including DBT group. I always walk out with a big smile on my face. All the staff are friendly but also very professional and if you ever need to cancel an appointment they are always so kind to reschedule. I boast to my friends and family how good this place is and how if I could I’d go here everyday..I have recommended my family and my friends to check out other locations closer to them but I will forever be grateful I started going. The staff are amazing 10/10, there’s so much more I want to say I could literally go on and on about how amazing my experience has been and continues to be each week.

I went into the emergency room for severe pain and the staff were kind, helpful, comforting, and considerate. They did the necessary test, got me referrals, and gave me an IV with medication to make me comfortable. I cannot recommend them enough!

At first they seemed very nice but I would call back trying to get information, the person I needed to speak to would be on another line and they would tell me they would leave a message. I would never receive a call back. Ever, I had to keep bugging them. Then I was waiting to get into treatment facility, I called the treatment facility to get some info and they'd never even heard of me. It just seems like my life is on hold and nobody really cares or wants to do their job or give me a real answer. Everytime I've left a message it gets ignored, I'm not sure what's really going on. Frustrating

Our 21mo old had a febrile seizure yesterday. They took us to Children’s and the staff was really attentive. No complaints- this is an ER! Sometimes things take a while. It was maybe about 3 hours in total.

Honestly very disappointed I had Shelly for awhile and was doing Telehealth appointments she would compare me and tell me about other clients she had I tried calling to get a different therapist all were full they told me maybe give her another chance so I did telling her I was starting a new job and that we would need to change times or days which never happened so I missed appointments and got booted out called back and said that I’m on a probation period and I can re apply as a new client but they are about 2 months out before getting me back in and to someone new anyways it’s been probably about 4-5 months now and nothing I just don’t recommend they should be working with you and you should have somebody you can trust and with struggling with mental health that’s what they are supposed to be there for is very disappointing and disheartening when you need someone

Very amazing to work with I have connected my participants with them. They’ve been great Help great organization I’ll be more than happy to work with them with my participants in the community.

My husband was going here. They got him set up on the correct meds, then his doctor went out on maternity before refilling his prescription. We are on day 4 of trying to get this one detrimental medication refilled and they seem to be ignoring the request. The pharmacy gave him a 2 day bridge refill hoping to give him time for the refill to come through, and still nothing. My husband is now having terrible reactions to quiting this medication cold turkey. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU NEED MENTAL HEALTH MEDICATIONS.

As a licensed social worker who attempted to engage a therapist through this organization, I am appalled at the way this agency does business. They are unresponsive, they billed for services not provided, and after an intake interview in November, I still had no therapist assigned by January and did not receive a single (not ONE) phone call to schedule and none of my emails or calls were returned. If you are an individual who needs help, please don't call these people. I called my primary physician after this debacle, asked for a referral elsewhere, had an appointment and a therapist scheduled in a week. I was not billed for services not provided. I know it's probably a great business model on their end to charge folks' insurance agencies $475 for an "assessment" and then provide no services, but it's dangerous when people truly need help to put their well-being in the hands of an agency with no character. Again, if you need help, don't assume you'll get it here.

My son and I felt very slighted by the counselor, and she seemed to lack empathy for us. She assumed the very worst of us and was very opinionated, without knowing our back story. Not everyone has a good life!

Not the best first experience. I decided to use Doctor on Demand, as Mrs. Carrlson was a tad difficult. I also went in office and it ended up being a zoom call. Why couldn’t I have done that from the comfort of my home then?!? I gave her grace initially when she rescheduled our first appt, yet when I asked to switch a med that was affecting me in a negative manner, rather than switch it she requested another visit. Mind you it had already taken two weeks before I even got the med due to push back from insurance. So they switched it, ok. But to request another visit, naw sounds like she just wants those visit pay-outs rather than to be an advocate for true mental health. I should have been given the same grace I extended to her. So yeah, needless to say because of the pushback on changing my med due to adverse affects, I decided I was not comfy with her as my provider. Mind you, initial visit when I went in office was overwhelming. Lakeland had a loud lobby with music and lotsa talking and this. It can be alot when people are going through mental things, some are sound sensitive. I wouldn’t think a behavioral health clinic should have to be told this. Please be mindful. Make it welcoming and safe for all who enter. Thanks.

Being an IRT faculty this is by far the best one in MN. it is for women only and can hold up to 10. Staff have different backgrounds and the ability to meet different women where they are at. On an average a day, three groups and one 1:1 in counter with staff. Three meals plus snacks. Daily chores and residence help cook on the weekends. Community time after your first ten days, 2-5 pm daily. They support lady’s attending out side support groups. Like AA, NA, CR. Most rooms are single bed. You can keep your electronics recommending not having them in group or during meal time.

Having to drive half an hour each way. Been there now about a total of 6 or so times each a matter of two hours giving credible in depth explanations and experiences starting back from my childhood till now. All with the goal of getting some type of expert opinion of what I deal with. Staff was great all throughout my time there.

Got told the wrong date for my first ever appointment with them. And they counted it as a no show because I wasn’t there. Not happy about it at all. Wouldn’t recommend going here. Better places elsewhere

Rhonda the program manager doesn’t care about what you’re going through, I said this because I’ve been in this program for ten years and throughout the whole time she knew about my mental and emotional abuse in the relationship I’m in and didn’t show an ounce of care or understanding. I left to feel safe and told her I’ll be back once my mental was stable and she was extremely nonchalant and showed no signs of caring, I came back 6 months later and try to contact her, she blocked me and when I explained to the office what I was telling her, they just said we'll contact her and when she did, she acted as if we never talked about anything and made up so many false statements and reason and affected me so much more.

Never again will I go back to the emergency room? They are incompetent and do not know what they are doing. My husband went in for dizziness, nausea, and bird vision. After they drew blood, I looked on the portal and noticed that his white blood count had nearly quadruple from the previous Monday. They told me it had to do with him being dehydrated and nervous about being there, and the dizziness was just vertigo. My husband had a stroke the next day after they sent us home and told us to take nausea medicine, I trusted them, my husband stroke was severe enough that he passed away the following week. His doctor was Dr. kazmouz the one that everybody told me to stay away from and why I did not get a second opinion I will never know. I’ve heard stories about this doctor just telling everybody they’re dehydrated even when there’s something major going on. 90% of the people I’ve talked to said that he’s sent them or their loved ones home telling them they were dehydrated. Believe me if this doctor is ever working again, I will not go there.
