Good poeple that want to work for you

Their outpatient programs are flexible without feeling flimsy. I started in IOP, then stepped down to standard outpatient once things stabilized. Family sessions helped us get on the same page, and the aftercare plan made the transition less intimidating.

Awesome service. Been with them for 2 years

Outpatient treatment can feel intimidating at first, but the staff here makes it feel like you’re walking into a place where people genuinely care about you. The director Tiffany is absolutely amazing, and has made me feel seen and heard as an individual. The counselors and therapists are compassionate, knowledgeable, and actually take the time to listen instead of rushing you through the process. They create a space where you can be honest about what you’re going through without feeling judged. That kind of environment makes a huge difference when you’re trying to do the hard work of changing your life

I was the clown…and didn’t even know it. Thought I was winning, thought I was untouchable. But really? I was blinded by my own ego, my own wounds, my own habits. I wasn’t wilding just for fun. I was feeding pain. Feeding emptiness. Feeding that little boy in me that never healed, that thought attention was love, that thought chaos was normal. I prayed for peace while being addicted to dysfunction. Wanted freedom while my choices kept me in chains. Thought I was living, but I was dying slow and calling it life. The truth? The biggest enemy wasn’t out there…it was in me. Every reckless choice was costing me purpose. Every distraction was delaying destiny. God will let you run in circles ‘til you get tired of your own mess. One moment, one choice, one night can wipe out everything you thought you had time for. I had to wake up. Stop playing with fire. Stop calling dysfunction “fun.” Stop being the threat to my own future. This ain’t just about breaking bad habits…it’s about saving your life. Your purpose is waiting…but first you gotta stop being the one wrecking it. Life’s good…it’s about to get better! Happy Friday. 🩷🙏🏽💜

Update: The counselor reviewed below is no longer there, nor is anyone that was there when I was a client. Everyone there now is great! Very unprofessional. Therapist frequently smelled like alcohol and smoke. Without exaggeration, she would cancel the day of every other week. We’d see her one week, then the next, by noon I’d be awaiting the cancellation text. I 100% understand that there are some things that people go through that are out of control. But if it’s that regular that your Monday appointments have to be cancelled, maybe it’s time to take a step back and focus on that instead of people who need consistent help, too.

I was very lucky to find a place at Lakeside Academy to send my son. The staff, counselors, and coaches truly helped him by understanding him and helping him through the tough times. My son didn't want to go, but after five weeks of being there, I started to see a difference in my son. He loved being around other people his age who were dealing with the same struggles in life, and enjoyed interacting with the staff. The best thing he liked about Lakeside was that when he was doing well in the program, his team gave him higher responsibilities. As tough as it was from a parent point of view to send my son to Lakeside, I am thankful I sent him there. They worked with not just my son, but also myself and our family throughout his journey. This made it a little easier for when he graduated the program. The staff are truly a family, and for that I am extremely grateful.

Great Chemical Dependency therapist. Very accepting and helpful.

My experience was I really didn't know what to think until the information they shared with actually stared to show just like it was explained, IMS DEFINITELY has my vote and people who love their job
Best experience I’ve had in any type of therapy or treatment. New Beginnings, and the counselor Kelly in particular, were life changing to me. The structure included substance use coping skills but more information on mental health in general. The care from Kelly was unmistakable. Highly recommended program!

The staff is very kind and supportive and the facility is really clean and welcoming.

Key things that set Lake Place apart from the others:
Im so grateful to have had the opportunity to go to Hazelden Betty Ford. I refused any treatment at first until I ended up going there, and I didn't want to leave! The staff are incredible, so kind and caring! The food was good, the environment was beautiful and serene, and I loved all the different activities and support they have! I learned so much and met so many amazing people. I would 110% recommend Hazelden to anyone! Their program saved my life, and I will forever have infinite gratitude to everyone who was a part of my recovery journey and many others!
I see Kara weekly for therapy sessions, and I am so pleased with how we communicate and have connected. She is a fantastic lady and therapist. I have gotten a lot of help, and I am extremely grateful for the services Tubman has provided for both the community and myself.
The counselors are great here.
