I started going to Hope and Wellness to see Ryan in 2017. His approach to healing has helped me become more self-aware and loving to myself. I love that he provided exercises during our sessions! Never experienced that before with other therapists. It was extremely helpful. Hope and Wellness will always be my top recommendation for therapy.
They can regurgitate and try to implement what they have learned and seen as a successful, but the issues which led to my 2 star rating are: the methods being recommended were not followed. Listen to understand first. Many sessions seemed like they became more argumentative. Their perception vs mine. My perception is mine and that's what I'm trying to work on so telling me you disagree isn't anywhere else as helpful as helping me understand the flaws in the logic.
As a colleague of Dr. Shannon Cranston, I know her intelligence, understanding and discretion have helped her choose the most gifted and empathic therapy team imaginable. Her intense insight and awareness of how talk therapy works to help us all see ourselves and our world more clearly, enables us to live happy and peaceful lives. She has helped me, and many of our friends and colleagues. So I feel sure they can help you, too!
Danielle and her team are not only professional but warm and inviting. Would highly recommend to friends and family!

I have been dealing with Jessica and autumn, they are both extremely helpful and go out of their way to help me with any problems I may have, I moved and that's the only reason I cannot currently continue to go there, D Morone is also an amazing Dr who I would definitely recommend if you are serious about getting help. I have been sober for more than 5 months and alot of it has to deal with them, I will miss them tremendously. Thank u for helping me get me life back in order
UPDATE- upon posting this review I received contact from the administrator and give a five-star review on how they handled my complaint. If I have to get another one of these evaluations I would certainly do it through Catholic Charities though I would use a different representative than tiffany. It is hard to get good customer service today and I definitely feel like I got excellent customer service in the handling of my complaint and resolving my issue _Information regarding my medications was filled out wrong on my evaluation for my driver's license then when I had an email to me it was not emailed and its entirety the first time which I would not have caught if not for the medication mistake. When I requested the medication mistake and received the second copy it was three pages longer than the first copy and did not include my SASSI scores. When I asked Tiffany to please review what she sent me and resend it in its entirety she advised me to just include the scores from the first sending and try to blame it on a scanning error suggesting not all of the scanned Pages sent the first time. Clearly that's not the case or the second sending would have included everything from the first sending. Communication has been horrible in that she simply doesn't respond to me. I paid $175 for this evaluation I highly advise people go somewhere else for something of such importance -
I called in NOVEMBER to get an appointment. I was told it would be 3 weeks wait time. It’s been 6 months finally got a call.

✅ The staff at Samaritas is not only highly skilled but also incredibly compassionate. They genuinely care about their clients and go above and beyond to meet their needs. Their willingness to listen and understand individual situations sets them apart from other organizations. ✅ I can confidently recommend Samaritas to anyone seeking services that are both professional and compassionate

My first time in treatment. They are wonderful. Great program and routine. It's not a perfect or flawless program. But the people care and they know what they are doing. It is a homey environment. 3 roommates per room with multiple restrooms available with shower and toilet. Huge kitchen, normal food delivered every week; just like home. Laundry once a week. Introduction to AA and NA classes in and out of house. Occasional field trips (Fred Meijer Garden). Patio access with a peaceful forest view, where you can spend free time or meals. Lots of down time for reading, writing, crafts. It can get pretty crowded. I recommend bringing your own personal fan, night light for reading, books, music on a device that cannot connect to the internet, foam mattress pad or extra blankets to fluff up your mattress. Bring crafts. Get all your affairs in order before you leave, you will have very limited access to a phone. It can be an overwhelming experience. It felt like I was in a bubble- separate from the outside world. But the days do pass. Keep yourself open to learning. Your brain and body are a machine, and you need to learn how to make it work again.
I found therapy extremely helpful in the beginning. I felt seen and heard. My therapist listened well our first 2 months, however once I became more healed and or self aware I felt judged by certain comments. As she was also assigned for other duties, she told me there was a lack of resources to none at all. Giving lack of effort to actually research!!! Not sure what moved me to request a new therapist but the new lady didn't make it past session number 2. I wasn't very pleased with her driving while in session, it was dangerous and unprofessional. But after 4 months with therapist number 1 at least she listened and quoted Maya Angelou a few times........ I had time to cry and figure things out. Therapy is cool but I was use other tools such as weight lifting, prayer, journaling!!!!
So thankful I found Dr. Moylan! She was very helpful to us! Highly recommend her!

NAMI has been a huge part of keeping me alive. It's a great organization.

I traveled from Saginaw, MI for 3.5 hours to this facility for my first experience with inpatient rehabilitation for addiction, and boy am I glad that my very first interaction and encounter with a program and facilitator in this profession was with this place! They are very professional and thorough and fair in their policy and implementation on those in the program while still allowing the room for individuals to have the unique care or alterations to their new restrictions in the program that takes into account the very unpredictable and varying differences in the residents lives and needs. The facility was very clean and more than acceptable for my needs. The location is removed enough from the hustle and bustle to not tempt but not too far removed you feel isolated. The groups and their lessons and program literature was completely in current recommendations with the latest available information education and resources readily available for your recovery journey and services. One woman had her child with her and the staff was more than helpful and supportive in providing child supervision and care. The child was content and while we know not so, seemed totally unaffected and unaware of any possible difficulties in the mother’s life. When there is an issue of any type it is very quickly and satisfactorily addressed. There was a man who was stalking the property in a vehicle one night and so a worker came out with us while we smoked cigarettes in which there was then another man who wandered on to the parking lot and this worker was very professional but stern and unmoving in her directing him away and off the property. I felt like a baby bear and she was definitely mama protecting her cubs! I felt so safe and sure that she was dedicated to our well being. Honestly I can’t praise this place and their workers enough! If you are thinking of sobriety and feel that rehab is appropriate for the start of your journey , then make the trip here!

Disappointed. If you're looking for a real therapy I would advise you to go somewhere else. I was going here for therapy and the therapist was unprofessional. She would not allow me to talk. She wanted to pick fights with me. Very controlling. Very disappointed in that place. I do not recommend it. That whole place is a joke
Best place in Northern Michigan. I highly recommend Noël, who is one of the newest members to the practice. She’s relaxed, fun and smart. I’ve been seeing a therapist for over 10 years now, and Noël is my favorite therapist already.

I was recommended to attend sessions for (marriage), by court. I was pretty hesitant at first. After a I really made a commitment, an put serious effort in. My counselor and I really get into a little bit of everything and I have learned many ways to cope with my past behaviors. I love this place they really have me more than I can say. Its hard for me to put it all into words. Let's just say I would recommend them to anyone who really wants better for life.

Grace is my worker. Caring and compassionate. when I said I joined the Marines her first question was why and she had concern on her face. They need more workers like that💯🙏🏾
