I was here for 11 months and made so much progress, even got a glow up, and I miss it there. I left recently and made friends, got used to the way I was living, and I got emotional when they told me I was discharging. I liked a girl on the other side named Tika. I miss it there, and even though I got put in seclusion 5 times, I liked the way I was living. now I'm not fat anymore and I found time to work out. I still miss my friend IzRael, he helped me get through it, and I still wish I could have gotten his Number. It's a good place and helped me a lot.

I was not informed that my original payee was no longer working at the agency, despite paying for their services. This lack of communication made me feel that my rights were not considered, and I was not regarded as important enough to be notified. The following day, I received an email from my new payee demanding that I sign documents immediately or risk having my card deactivated, with no willingness to address my questions in a professional manner. Update: 10/20/2025 I understand that the agency serves approximately 300 clients, but there should still be proper communication regarding staff changes. When I spoke with Tammy Masters, she was extremely disrespectful. Even after explaining that I had recently been hospitalized and experienced a life-threatening situation, she showed no concern. She suggested that if I was dissatisfied, I could become my own payee. I have documentation from the hospital confirming the severity of my condition. Payee services are intended to reduce stress and provide support, yet since the new management transition, my experience has been consistently stressful. I have been with this agency for 11 years and previously felt genuinely supported, but recent interactions have left me feeling disregarded and unfairly treated. Clients deserve to be treated with respect, particularly when facing serious health challenges. I do not wish to become my own payee, as this would add undue stress given my current health issues. I strongly urge the agency to address these concerns and return to a standard of care that prioritizes the well-being and dignity of its clients.
I have been battling MDD my whole life. When I was in the lowest point I’ve ever been, I was told to try Eyerly Ball. They set me up with a doctor via Skype. I was on the verge of suicide, and the guy that I talked to told me that ai wasn’t serious about getting better, because I was smoking cigarettes at the time, and said he suspected I was just trying to score narcotics. This couldn’t be further from the truth. I left the office in tears, ready to end my life. Luckily, I found a real psychiatrist the same day. I’m lucky to be alive. Avoid Eyerly Ball like the plague.
I went here when I was 14, I am now 20, and I remember my experience there vividly and honestly still have nightmares about this place. I was there for 5 months and only got discharged because my psychiatrist said "they can't help me". That is something that stays in my brain forever, especially back then, I felt hopeless and like no one could help me. It was my 3rd inpatient placement and it was my 2nd to worst, the 4th place I went to was a little worse but they both should be shut down. Anyways, while I was there I had little to no help, the psychiatrist/therapist there at the time was obviously there for the money. She would come dress up in expensive fancy outfits and have expensive handbags, her hair was always done, she wore expensive high heels and walked around loudly. She wasn't a good therapist and I felt like I couldn't trust her. Also while I was there there was a guy psychologist who would be there every few weeks and a few 11-12 year old girls that were there told me that he touched their thighs inappropriately (they were my friends there and they went to me for their problems instead of the counselors because they didn't help them) when it was my turn to see him I felt the pervy vibes and he looked at me weird and tried to grab my thigh too so cussed him out and slapped his hand away, i knocked some papers off his desk too (I was a kid, so I didn't care that that was unnecessary) I was dragged out of his office and he made sure he wouldn't see me again. When I told the counselors about it they said they know that he is like that and that they tried reporting him but nothing happened. Also, we had to move "cottages" while I was there because of bed bugs and we went to an uncleaned empty "cottage" and there was some glass on the floor in my room and one of the reasons I was there was for self harm (cutting) so the glass made it easy to do that, there were a couple of good counselors there but the others were definitely not there to help us, just for the money, and when they found out I cut myself they got mad at me and yelled at me, that is not how you deal with that situation... And while I was there there was a older guy (16-17) in one of the co-ed cottages and he was able to have sex with some of the girls there (they were younger than 14) it was sad because they were so innocent before that, he never should have been able to do that stuff, but the staff weren't paying attention (usually on their phones). One of the good counselors helped me get psychological testing at the outpatient center which was the only helpful thing that happened for me there. When I was discharged, I didn't get a party or cake like everyone else since I was basically being kicked out because again they said "they can't help me" and that made me feel even worse. I accidentally left some clothes, makeup, snacks, and money there (because they didn't help me pack up or anything and were rushing me) and when I went to get my stuff back they told me one of the girls (the only girl that didn't like me) went through my stuff and took some of it, when I asked them if they could get my stuff back they said no and made me leave, I only got less than half of my stuff back, and didn't get the money I earned from chores. Overall a traumatic experience, I'm not even saying everything that happened while I was there because it's way too much. Anyways, I don't recommend bringing your child here, especially since I've heard it's gotten worse since I was there and idk how that's possible... Find somewhere else, with good reviews, good luck
What has happened to this clinic in the last year? Like others I'm being denied my SNRI and forced to go into withdrawals on a medication I've been on since 2007. This is pure cruelty and unethical. When asked what to do about withdrawals due to their "soup nazi" way of practicing, I got told "go to the er" and was hung up on by Sara at the front desk. This is clear abuse of the Emergency Room as they can prevent this from happening. I can never get a message or a return call by provider, Ellen Natvig. I've seen her since 2008 (approximately) & it's hard to believe she approves of this however I wouldn't know since I am unable to communicate with her. I left a message for the clinic manager, Kara Magnison and of course, she has not returned a call. Leaving a message on MyChart is pointless as "Maddie the RN" answers them and she's just as dismissive as the others. Being a mental health provider myself, at least I'm fortunate to know how to navigate this neglectful behavior. Others may not. This clinic works with marginalized individuals and it appears that they feel entitled to act this way as there's no concern regarding people's current circumstances, mental health and physical health. They need to be shut down as they do not care! I'm encouraging those who have had a horrible experience with this clinic to file a complaint with Iowa Board of Medicine and contact a malpractice attorney. This sort of behavior furthers the stigmatization of mental health. We're expected to just go cold turkey with medication which can lead to a fatality. Theyre playing with fire; eventually there's going to be a patient who cannot handle THEIR way of practicing and it ends in death. Just stay away from this place and protect yourself and your mental health!
Definitely not here to help. Their mistakes in not knowing who they see or when they tell them to come in can put someone back in jail. Know who you are talking to and seeing before reporting to PO's very disorganized. Most of the people coming here for help do not have a ride and some do not have phones so your disorganization and lack of help can push someone back into bad habits and trouble. Either close your doors or actually put effort into helping everyone that walks through your doors - pay attention, be present, organization and care can go a long way. Remember peoples freedom and their path to success is in your hands don't take it for granted. SO to others needing help stay away from here it can quite honestly push you backwards!

THIS PLACE WENT 3 PSYCHIATRIST AND ALOT OF THERAPUSTS BUT FOR SOME REASON THEY MOVED ON AND LEFT US WITH NO REMORSE

Need to do daily drug tests on the childern. They are calling in the day of class to do drugs. Waste of time to even send people to asac
How dare Chatham Oaks mandate the still experimental vaccine to its workers.. It is NOT approved by the FDA like the media is reporting.. The FDA has only approved Comirnaty, which isn't even available, yet the MSM is reporting the Pfizer mrna gene therapy shot is approved. Get ready for a class action law suit Unitypoint health, after the adverse reactions start occurring to the people you forced to take the jab!
Very rude front desk staffing, takes over a month to make an appointment. Have had aggressive psychiatrist experiences at this location.

This place is the worst. My daughter went and on day 1 by a person doing an evaluation first thing offered was pills. If you want a legal drug dealer go here. But if you want real help go somewhere else. We had an appointment on 12/2 and all the doctor did was try to convince my daughter she needed pills and she's only 13. She does not have a history of mental.illness. she went through a traumatic experience and is anxious from that. This doctor ignored me and my husband and talked directly to my daughter to convince her she needed pills. This place is not safe and all you are is a number and another user for them to push pills on. Shame on you. I gave one star because I had too wish it could be 0.

Place is a joke, can’t get my medication without speaking to someone but they can’t make the appointments line up. Going five days without my meds. So if you actually want help don’t recommend this place.
Infinity Health is refusing to renew meds essential to my treatment for depression. The prescription will run out before two weeks. (A policy I was NOT informed of.) Without these meds depression relapse is possible. This inexcusable.
