If you are a mental health patient suffering from anxiety, depression, adhd, this is NOT the place for you. They will send you straight to a deep depression stage, starting from not caring if you ran out of medication, they will not call in your prescription they will not follow up with you regardless how many calls you have made to them or emails you might of sent. If you are lucky and they decide to finally call in your prescription after a whole week, they will call the wrong dose. You will get worse with them, there is no sense of urgency, they do not care if you loose your life, they simply don't care. Since what they see is mental health patients, they don't take accountability for their wrong, they just put the blame on their patients because who going to believe that "crazy" person? They are just one more walk in clinic running scams for the money. They made an oath that they knew they will never honor. I will be filing a complaint to the state medical board and I encourage anyone that had issues with this clinic with extra charges that must be paid cash because they don't accept any FSA for "some" services, anyone that had an issue with prescription that THEY (clinic) recommend but don't send to the pharmacy and don't care how many times you call to ask them to please send the prescription to the pharmacy and anyone that they lower the dose without discussing it with the patient to reach out to the Florida State Medical Board and file a complaint as well. Mental Health patients are NOBODY, to these people, you will not be valued as a human being here, you will NOT find understanding or compassion here.

Very poor service. My child doesn't speak spanish I requested a therapist that was fluent in English the PSR manager told me that there were no fluent speaking therapist without a heavy Spanish accent. She also informed me that her employees that were hired were all from Spanish background which isn't a problem except the last psr therapist that was seeing my son was asking me how to say words In English. If you can't communicate with the patient HOW are you going to help them. I also find it disturbing that only Spanish background employees are being hired. It should be employing people of ALL BACKROUNDS.

I brought my husband here a few months ago for help. I had called around to see where I could bring him. After calling here, the receptionist who answered the call was very helpful and told me he could come in immediately and they could treat his adhd symptoms. I explained his situation and everything. We then packed a bag and prepared to admit him which took an emotional toll on us. After arriving, filling out paperwork, and a thorough interview, he was rejected. We were then told adhd was not treated there and they gave us a business card for a virtual psychiatrist which we didn't want. We specifically wanted an in person provider to move away from his current virtual one. The staff seemed like they genuinely wanted to help but couldn't. We wasted everyone's time and energy and were turned away with no help. How is this how the system is designed? Why were we given false information? I really hope this place is helping other people but they definitely didn't help us.

I am writing this review to share my personal experience and to encourage parents to be very mindful when seeking mental health care for their children. This nurse practitioner ( Herve Corbel) treated my daughter on three occasions and treated me once as a patient. From the very first visit, the experience raised serious concerns. During sessions intended for my daughter, he repeatedly spoke at length about his own personal life, shifting the focus away from the patient. My daughter was there to receive professional mental health support, not to listen to the provider’s personal experiences. Throughout the visits, his explanations were often contradictory and lacked clarity, which made it difficult to understand the treatment approach or feel confident in the care being provided. When I was seen as a patient myself, I experienced what felt like excessive and unnecessary questioning that did not seem appropriate or relevant. The situation ultimately escalated into an unpleasant verbal confrontation in front of the office assistant, which was deeply upsetting—especially considering that my daughter is a special-needs child and was present in that environment. Children and families seek mental health services with trust and vulnerability, expecting professionalism, respect, and appropriate boundaries. Unfortunately, this was not our experience. I am sharing this so other parents can make informed decisions and ensure their children receive the respectful, supportive, and professional care they deserve.

This place was horrible. Staff very unprofessional.. the food was always cold, the portion size would be the same given to toddlers. The showers had worms, one of the girls got ring worm. It was dirty.. the clients threatened each other with violence and staff didn’t care. Do not send anyone here. This place is an absolute joke. I only face 1 star because I couldn’t give zero. Surprised this place is still open, but it’s a money scam: there’s no real treatment, or therapy. Place is garbage!

I went here a few years ago for help with anxiety when I was about 40. I also asked about the possibility of autism and I was promptly told "you don't have autism, I can tell. You're nothing like the autistic people that I've seen". I just had a formal assessment done 2 weeks ago by a psychologist who specializes in autism and come to find out I'm autistic. The guy at key bridge didn't even ask me any questions, or look into the possibility. He just outright dismissed my concerns. So that left me with years of nagging doubt and instead of seeking the help I needed I just tried to ignore it and I just kept telling myself that that wasn't who I was despite all the evidence to the contrary. But now I know that, at least the person I saw, should not be licensed. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I am deeply concerned about the care my mother received at this facility following a documented injury. After a serious fall that resulted in a hospital visit and confirmed rib injuries, her physician explicitly ordered two days of bed rest. Upon her return, staff failed to follow these medical orders. She was told she would only be allowed 1-3 hours rest, and when she offered to provide hospital documentation, it was not reviewed. Despite being in clear pain, she was instructed to get up. She was also met with an aggressive response when she expressed that she was still sore and in pain. Multiple staff members witnessed this interaction and failed to intervene or advocate for her well-being. Disregarding physician orders and failing to appropriately respond to a patient’s condition raises serious concerns about negligence, patient safety, and staff accountability. This experience has significantly impacted our trust in this facility. Immediate improvements in care standards and oversight are necessary.

0 respect for the patient, I had an appointment for the first time I took a Uber paying $180 and when I got to the office, they told me the doctor canceled all the patients. I asked why no one called me and the answer was my voicemail was full ( Not true because even the reception is at the moment, call my voicemail and it was perfect ) why not an email when they send you email about your appointment? After that, I asked when is the next available, today is March 18 next available for new patients will be June, I just have to say thank God I’m not going through a very hard time because this is ridiculous. Again zero respect for patient and I work on the medical field. I will definitely NOT Going back

I was there awhile ago. The staff are not it they are super disrespectful and abusive even racist. If you dont finish your homework you stay up until you do. You miss dinner and you only get a piece of bread sometimes not even that. I seen two girls get in a fight one time and the staff just watched and laughed until they were done didn’t break it up at all. They are infested with lice and bed bugs there. I would not recommend it at all the therapist doesn’t listen to how you feel and when you do tell her she always judges and you get quiet time meaning in your room no food nothing the rest of the day

My kids have been going here since 2021. I filed a BBB report against them because I feel they’re not doing their due diligence to solve consistent issues impacting clients. Today, we waited for our 12:45 appointment only for me to be called in alone at 2:00 pm and told the doctor no longer feels comfortable treating my child.

I am very frustrated with this center. I was referred here and the therapist set up all her appointments with me and I attended every one of them. When my child was referred to medical, I never heard from therapy side again. My daughter actually mentioned how much she missed her therapist. I had medical appointments that put me out 3 months for a medical check and when I went to make that appointment is when I was told I was discharged from therapy. NO follow-up, NO voicemails, NO checking in to see why she wasn't coming to or even MAKING therapy appointments. The medical team was reaching out to me so I had NO idea I was supposed to do anything else. Now her prescription is running out, I have a new appointment with the therapist but they tell me they can't do anything about it until she meets with therapy. The reminder/appointment procedure for therapy is terrible and I am so upset that they are treating us like this. She has had so much improvement with the diagnosis, medicine and therapy but literally no follow up, not a single care shown about her and then just dropped my daughter with no one making me aware. You need to do better.

This facility is a joke and considering suing. My daughter was a long standing patient and three times with three different doctors no matter how many times she would call and leave a messages to get refills or get scheduled with a new doctor; no one would follow up. The amounts of times this place has neglected to keep patients on a timely medication routine is abysmal and has caused massive amounts of turmoil for someone with mental health issues that require constant monitoring and medication. No one here takes responsibility for the well being of patients and their lives.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Florida?
When comparing providers in Florida, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Florida?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Florida?
Yes. Mental Health US includes Florida providers that offer mental health services, substance use treatment, or both. You can use the available filters to narrow results by treatment needs, or review individual facility pages for more detailed information about the services and conditions each provider treats.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Florida providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
