My experience with Seasons has satisfied every criteria I have for effective therapy. They must be professional, courteous, punctual, and above all, they must demonstrate a level of care that goes beyond simply treating their clients as a number. Creating an environment that is conducive to progress and maintaining that standard throughout the entire process without faltering is a big ask these days. But Seasons has outperformed my expectations at every turn. After many years of searching for the right therapist I have finally found one. The entire establishment is deserving of praise. From booking my first appointment, to setting up virtual sessions, everything has been smooth and everyone has been kind, understanding, and helpful. But I would like to highlight one individual who is truly deserving of praise. My counselor Anthony has been crucial to my mental health progress. He is both professional and compassionate. Despite being a normal human being, he has consistently maintained what has been, by comparison to your average therapist, a herculean level of effort to maintain a great relationship with his client. Before I first met with Anthony, I could not leave my house without having a full blown panic attack. My life was in ruins, as a simple trip to the grocery store would consume all of my energy. So I stopped going anywhere. I had no life. I had no friends. I had zero self-esteem. No discipline. No ambition. No drive. I no longer cared if I got better. But with what little resolve I had left, I made a phone call to Seasons at the recommendation of a family member. I had seen several counselors over the years but never felt like any of them cared and I never got better, only worse. Then finally, a light at the end of the tunnel. Each session with him is different but he always listens. He takes incredible notes and remembers things that even I don't. His ability to articulate his thoughts and use his insights to compel you to action is unmatched. In a sea of so called "professionals" who just go through the motions every session, who cut corners just to make it through the day or to their next Starbucks coffee, Anthony is a beacon of hope. He actually cares. Now today, after only a few months of seeing him, I am leaving the house again. I am going places and doing things. I even enjoy myself. I'm feeling more confident. I even made a friend. I'm not a hundred percent better, but I'm closer than I ever thought possible and I'm hopeful for the future. There was no way I could have done this without Seasons and especially Anthony. If you made it this far, do yourself a favor and book an appointment. Your life is worth it.

Cynthia Clark is really helpful therapist---Breanna and Emmanuel good for med management/Psychiatry. I have been a patient for 15 years and they have helped me to see that I am not my diagnosis, but I do have a diagnosis. My dad and I didn't want to believe that I was severely mentally ill at first, but the more I accepted my illness as reality and my new normal, the more that the Drs and counselors are able to help me live a better quality life and still function as normally as possible. I see my diagnosis as a blessing in that it helps me to learn more about myself and in the process, help other people going through the same thing. Sometimes healing is a process and does not happen instantly, but I am able to cope better with all of the tools and support that I am receiving from family, friends and medical staff. God bless ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏💕💕

I chose this place based on its physical proximity to my work + upon recommendation of 2 colleagues, even though I go through telehealth using a video/audio platform. I really appreciate Dr. David Beaman and his treatment of me as a person + patient. Tranquility Psychiatry (TP) offers a variety of communications methods, a few apps + other ways to communicate w Dr Beaman & TP. I've visited psychiatrists in the past + I usually feel like they don't listen or they want to prescribe pills only to treat symptoms +or they fob you off to a therapist. I understand the difference between the two. I've been seen Dr Beaman for at least a year. Maybe two. He is open, warm, nonjudgmental+ really listens. The best word I can use to describe him is present-- as he focuses on listening + interacting w you as a person + patient. TP is flexible abt scheduling appts and pharmacy issues, which I appreciate as a busy professional myself. They don't take insurance which puts off some people, but IMHO, it's worth the money AND w insurance co-pays + limits on mental health visits nowadays, their office visit fee is reasonable & comparable. I've wasted the same amount on stupid shoes or a mediocre dinner out. And having a medical doctor who helps someone w mental health stability and maybe choosing +or prescribing someone's psychiatric medication is worth it. Having a present, intelligent, available MD like Dr. Beaman is more valuable to me than the price of so-so shoes + a good dinner out combined. Please don't ask me to choose between fabulous shoes and quality healthcare because both are mandatory for my mental health.

I was out of the area for much of the latter half of the year and beginning in September I returned and continued treatment with PrTMS at Brainstorm. Tori "remapped" me and within a couple days I received a new treatment plan from Dr. Franzen. Now that I've been back on a regular treatment program my sleep problems have all but vanished. What a difference life can be by getting more sleep and better focus - better yet, no medication just 20 minute sessions in the comfortable treatment chair with the caring courteous staff of Tori, Lori and Adam providing exceptional service and making sure I'm experiencing great results, which I am without a doubt. Best decision I've made in years to try PrTMS at Brainstorm. I used my FSA for my consultations and treatments but in 2026 we are going to investigate whether my insurance will cover it. Look into it - you will be pleased.

Dretta, Glenda, Juliana, Melissa, and Dr. Greene are absolutely awesome and genuinely amazing. This is healthcare made easy, taking personal care of my individual needs. They are so very professional and personable. The personal care I receive from the staff is impeccable, beyond compare. I feel human. They treat me as if I am a human being, with dignity, self-esteem, and part of the family: seen, heard, respected, beloved. It’s like I’m treated as if they’ve known me for a lifetime. I feel accepted. Their way of interacting with me leads me to believe that this is just how they are all the time!!

Working with Tyshell has genuinely changed my life. She gave me real tools to manage my social anxiety instead of just talking about it — tools I actually use. Because of her, I move through the world with more confidence and less fear of being judged. She created such a safe space for me. A space where I felt seen, understood, and allowed to cry without feeling embarrassed or dramatic. That alone meant everything to me. Graduating therapy feels bittersweet, but I’m leaving stronger, more self-aware, and more grounded in who I am. I’m so grateful for the work we did together and for the way she held space for me during some really important seasons of my life.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Florida?
When comparing providers in Florida, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Florida?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Florida?
Yes. Mental Health US includes Florida providers that offer mental health services, substance use treatment, or both. You can use the available filters to narrow results by treatment needs, or review individual facility pages for more detailed information about the services and conditions each provider treats.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Florida providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
