I have found the doctor and staff to be knowledgeable, efficient and supportive. I have been fit in for a walk in appointment, and not had to wait excessively for regular appointments. Many doctors and clinics do not want to serve Medicare patients or make appointments months out. I am impressed that there is this level and quality of care available for patients who may be unable to afford to pay out of pocket.
We recently switched from PeaceHealth to Serenity for MULTIPLE reasons! Today was our first appointment. I am beyond please with the level of care my daughters received. Tammy will now be our primary care physician for both girls. Not to mention their billing department is 1000% times better and easier to work with than the above mentioned hospital.

I'm very grateful that the people at Bartlett are here in Juneau to provide top-notch modern healthcare in a remote area like Southeast Alaska. I had a total hip replacement done and every individual that I dealt with showed caring and professionalism on a level I really didn't expect. I don't mean I expected negative outcomes, I mean they really are a top-notch team of caregivers. I have encountered the opposite so I know the difference. Dr. Brown and his surgical team, the doctors, nurses, and techs that work in med surgery, the anesthesiologists, the physical therapists, the CNAs, scheduling and intake, they all worked together seamlessly to get my surgery done, and it's something that I've needed for years. I waited to get the hip replacement surgery because I did not have access to an outfit like Bartlett in the last place that I lived in Alaska. I was able to get all my care here without flying back and forth to Seattle, which is a godsend. If you feel any hesitation about going to Bartlett and getting a medical procedure that you need, you need not feel that way, they will take good care of you. Did I mention the food was great as well??? Hats off to the staff in the kitchen, good food really matters when you don't feel well. Giving me back my mobility is no small feat, I will always be grateful to the medical professionals at Bartlett.

BFC is by far the best provider for health care in Bethel Alaska! Deb Cyphert is attentive, caring and extremely knowledgeable! She takes time to listen to your concerns and never rushes through your care. The front desk staff always greets you when you walk in and always has a smile on their face and is willing to answer all your questions! I always refer my friends to BFC!

The staff here was lovely, but the billing system was enough to leave me frustrated and in search of a new therapist. I would never be able to suggest coming here in good conscience after the headache I’ve had with that company. They bill through a third party, and are unable to take any payments through their office, while burying the link for the payment website in their site. In February, I received a call that I had an unpaid balance. I had not received any bills since November, and when I tried to contact the third party to figure out what the issue was, I was told they’d been sending me bills and there was no offer to investigate this further, merely an insistence that it was a fault on my end. I was told by APIA to wait two weeks for a balance reduction and a new bill, which never came. I ended up having to contact them for my account number, and checking my balance online manually every single month because I was still not receiving bills. I had not moved during this time nor changed any contact or payment information at all, and had no issues getting or paying bills up until this point. I was told by both the accounting office at APIA and my therapist that this is an issue multiple people had. Cut to today, I have not been there since June and I cleared my entire account balance at the end of June to make sure I was squared away. Once again, I have not received any bills in the mail. Today I get a phone call that my account is past due once again. I check the charges and one of them is for October, two of them are for December. Checking my insurance dashboard I can see that these claims were processed a long time ago, so why am I now getting the bill? Suddenly I am being burdened with paying for my new therapist as well as therapy I received almost a year ago at this point, with no prior notification that I owed anything. Although my experience at APIA therapy wise was fine, it has been entirely tainted by their unprofessional third party payment system. I really hope they transition to a company that is actually able to ensure people get their bills in the future.

hope you dont mind cleaning all day! 4-5 hrs of cleaning and cooking which is good to help people adjust back into the work force. but we were doing more cleaning than actual treatment work. physically a nice facility only a couple yrs old. but they need ALOT of work on what treatment is about and for. the Director Kate seems to be more worried about her refection in the mirror than actually helping clients.
Everyone is excellent. No complaints. I see phlebotomists all the time, I’ve never met one I didn’t like. If you are seen regularly enough, as I am, you get the privilege of contact with the Medical Director, Kelly Hensgen.

Shannon is amazing! She really takes the time to listen and makes talking about mental health feel way less overwhelming. She’s been incredibly supportive as I work through ADHD treatment and figure out accommodations for a large exam and furthering my education. She helped me feel comfortable accepting those accommodations and reminded me that it’s not cheating—it’s just giving myself a fair shot. I feel confident in our care plan and know I can reach out anytime I have questions. Highly recommend!
We absolutely love working with Katie! We have a foster son who has made vast improvements over the past few months. Plus the office admin is very on top of giving us reminder calls the day before every appointment.
Always respectful !! Dr. Erin Mongrone was so compassionate, down to earth and takes the time and effort to understand your issues. I came there frantically with MANY issues, she set me up with referals for all my needs. She is realistically happy to see people every-time. 👏
The woman that ran the part of the program I was in refused to let me graduate. I don't think that woman should be in that position. I actually really hate this place. I'm glad someone quit while I was there and my life is even worse now than before I went there.
KANA’s leadership and staff have been wonderful to work with, both on a personal and professional level. Everyone I have encountered has been helpful, caring, and friendly. I am thankful that KANA continues to do so much to provide support to our entire community.
Finding NorthWind and Molly has been a life-changer for me. She makes me feel seen and heard and I am making progress I never thought would happen.
I have been seeing Autumn now for about a month maybe a little longer and I would say I feel safe and comfortable during our session and I truly feel that she is there to help and not just there for the pay check. She seems to truly care about her clients/patients. Everyone I have to talk here with any questions about billing or when I was just looking into it was very helpful I highly recommend.
Completely saved my life ! Dr Kat is amazing . She is patient, very kind , and the best listener. She took her time with my care plan by getting to know me first. She always has a back up plan ready of what we decide to try doesn’t work. When you leave her office you are at peace knowing you are in good hands . I have been going to Eagle River Behavioral Health almost a year and have never had better mental and physical health in my life . Highly recommend 10/10
I love Katie’s Way Plus! It worked well for me - even with a TBI.
I got an assesment and it ca came back with discrepancies and eating the director decided to pay for me another assessment and reimburse me for the mistakes caused by their organization I am very grateful to Eddy at Tutan recovery services for being fair and understanding about how important little mistakes can make a big difference thank you to CITC and Tutan recovery services for all your help. I highly recommend their facility for anyone looking to be sober," it's not for people who need it it's for people who want it!"
